Ima keep it real, ya girl rarely bothers to write Yelp reviews, but I definitely have to say something about my experience here. Formerly known as Boba Guys, Lazy Sundaes are on brand with the employees they hire, LAZY.
I ordered a strawberry matcha latte w/ boba. When I took the first couple sips of my drink I noticed that the boba texture was off and the tapioca batch wasn't fresh (probably at least a couple hours old).
I went back into the store, told one of the employees about the unfresh boba, and politely asked if they could remake my drink. The girl was nice and took my drink back. I saw that she scooped a spoonful of boba from the batch into a new plastic cup. HOWEVER, instead of making a new drink, she DEADASS USED THE LEFTOVER LIQUID FROM MY OLD DRINK AND POURED IT INTO THE NEW CUP before handing it back to me.
I was in SHOCK. I work in the service industry, and typically when a guest is unsatisfied with their dish/ drink, we remake the entire item again from scratch (to provide decent customer service). This is the first time I've ever seen an employee take the contents of an old item to make a "new drink".
I wouldn't say that I'm angry that it happened, but I am in disbelief. To sum it all up, the service is indeed, lazy.
Trust me, I ain't no Karen, this is just far below the basic standard of good customer service. Get your shit together please.
