"Colourful, unusual recipes, impeccably cooked and crafted with first-class ingredients, including veggies from the garden: such is the enticing programme that Le 1862, the main restaurant of Les Glycines Hotel, has in store for you. This former coaching inn, located between the railway station and the River Vézère, serves market-fresh cuisine with subtle harmonies of flavours and polished sauces. The chef enhances the finest produce from the surrounding countryside – suckling lamb, saffron, foie gras and the kitchen garden harvest and diners get to sample it all in a smart fashionable venue leading onto a terrace-loggia overlooking the grounds. Slick service and first-rate wine tips from Léa Lombard, the chef’s daughter." - Michelin Inspector

The food was good, but the service was quite rushed. The waitstaff attempted to pull our plates away several times before we were finished. Definitely not the refinement expected at a Michelin starred restaurant.

Wonderful dining experience. Dinner from a very talented and creative chef, who, in my opinion deserves a second Michelin star. Excellent, professional service in a great ambiance. Every dish was beautifully presented.

Food was decent but subpar as Michelin-starred restaurants go. What really ruined the experience was the service. The place was understaffed and our waiter was unpleasant- harried and rude. This dinner was the low point of our two weeks in France.

Superb food (interesting food combinations which work well, taste delicious and are pleasing to the eye) and friendly service (the sommelier with flawless English in particular). We went for the 7-course tasting menu and the suggested wine pairings (which were very well thought out and explained). Our dog was also warmly welcomed too. We plan to go again for dinner before we leave.

Visited last night. Faultless in every way. Food was sublime, service friendly and professional. Had the 5 course degustation menu and each course plus extra courses including a divine pre desert menu :-) was considered and delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Every bit a Michelin started experience.

Excellent service, excellent menu, fine wine. My wife ordered a menu and requested a substitution; the staff instantly complied. The service was never slow or hurried, but responded to our own progress.

My husband and I had a nightmarish experience at this restaurant. The food was bland, overpriced and pretentious. When our over-hyped grilled onion arrived, we thought it was a joke, but not they were seriously pulling our leg. Stay way from this place. Really.

The place was nice food was ok but not Michelin worth we had some rude staff only one type of rosè and doesn’t have a massive selection of normal food

Yelp
LeBistro at Les Glycines is a disappointment from start to finish. Starting with the location ( right on the main highway, your view from the restaurant). The staff excisting out of a very nice girl and (sorry to say) Forrest Gump with an attitude! When we tried to make a reservation online it was fully booked, but by phone wide open??? The specials were sold out at this nearly empty restaurant (REALLY?)and they offer nothing for kids.. The food is average, the Fois grass terrine taste like nothing, the burgers were good. We have had great service during our trip in France but in this small town in the middle of nowhere it was absolutely terrible!

Yelp
The room and bath were very nice. The location is just outside the Main Street area but walkable to everywhere. The spa part of the hotel is only access able to guests if an additional fee is paid. The outdoor pool is open to guests. The dining room and hotel have a somewhat unfriendly feel.

Yelp
Food is high quality but portions are small and staff is standoffish. Hotel itself is beautiful but restaurant facade ruins the look and fronts a busy road.
