Le 5 Particulier (Neuilly-sur-Seine, Île-de-France) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Just a little bit farther west than the great majority of Paris’s hotels it’s possible to find something unusually tranquil and verdant. A 19th-century mansion close to the Bois de Boulogne is now Le 5 Particulier, a hotel whose country-house style belies the fact that it’s a mere mile from the Arc de Triomphe. Its rooms are handsome and soothingly minimalist, while its restaurant and cocktail bar are afforded a bit more glamour; the ace in the hole, of course, is the leafy courtyard garden — a space a more centrally located hotel wouldn’t dare dream of." - Tablet Hotels

The hotel is quite small, but as nice as the website suggests. The garden area, more of later (!!) is far smaller than pictures suggest. We had the friendliest check in, and our room was ready early. Both our Deluxe Garden View room and public areas of the hotel were great. The room was a little larger than you’d expect in Paris, the bathroom was very spacious with bath and shower. Quality of fittings and decore in both were great, upkeep perfect. Not a chip or scuff to be found. The bed was super comfortable, and water was in the room FOC. Not very good was service for guests. Both days we arrived back early evening after a day sightseeing in the heat, we hoped for a drink sat in the garden. We were not allowed access either day as they had private parties, and day 1 were told we could walk back towards the Metro and maybe find a drink and seat there! Day 2 we couldn’t even find anyone to be rude to us, we were totally blanked as staff were occupied by the outside party. Seems odd to promote the garden, charge extra for a garden view room, but then deny us access. We were really disappointed on all service here, the breakfast service is a debacle. We had paid, but day 2 we couldn’t face the inept and rude service so headed over the road and had a lovely simple breakfast in a small bar. You’d expect me to say I’d never stay here again, and I did think that, hence I’ve waited a couple of weeks to review. We probably would return, as the property is great and Metro links and Fondation Louis Vuitton close by. We would however have to expect zero customer service or care for hotel staff, and grin and bear that. Nice property, good location, staff need either training or sacking.

We chose this hotel primarily for the location, being outside the centre of Paris but close to the David Hockney exhibition at Foundation LV - just a short and very pleasant walk through the Jardin d'Acclimatation to get there from the hotel. The view from the end of the street was also impressive with views of the Arc de Triomphe at one end of the main road and La Defense arch in the opposite direction. The hotel itself was perfect for our two night stay, with a well equipped room, excellent AC, a great breakfast choice and attentive helpful staff. And all just a short walk and couple of RER stops to reach the Gare de Nord. Plus there were plenty of restaurants to choose from in the local area if not eating in the hotel.

Small very elegant hotel in a quiet attractive neighbourhood ten minute’s walk to the Hockney exhibition in the Bois de Boulogne and 20 minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe. Super easy Metro into the centre in 10 minutes without change. We had a Classic Garden view room 212 on the first floor and it was a joy to throw open the casement window looking over the garden. The rooms are very small with not much storage for three nights but bed was comfortable, shower worked well and it was very clean. Breakfast was very good but they don’t have enough staff to service it properly with only one poor person doing their best but that let it down. The garden was lovely for a drink but rain on two nights meant we only used it once. Had dinner one night, food good and setting lovely but think staff could do with more training. Would definitely stay there again.

This boutique hotel on the outskirts of the city offers a clean and comfortable stay. Our room, overlooking the garden, provided a peaceful ambiance. Conveniently located near metro and bus stations, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe. A nearby convenience store caters to any additional needs. The friendly staff ensures a memorable stay, and I’ll definitely return if I visit Paris again.

Absolutely amazing stay near the Arc de Triomphe! The hotel was elegant, beautifully decorated with fresh flowers, and smelled divine throughout. The bar served special cocktails that made each evening feel extra luxurious. Everything was just perfect – a true Parisian delight

We loved this hotel! The bed was so very comfortable. The shower was spacious and hot! The staff was amazing, especially James at the front desk. I enjoyed chatting with him. We did not eat here but when in Paris I prefer a local Boulangerie. The Les Sablons metro is a 4-minute walk. You can see The Arc de Triomphe from the main road. Metro Line 1 gets you to so many places. If we return we will definitely stay here.

This property is lovely! The decor, staff and sleep quality were excellent. I stayed 4 nights and found the location quiet and with quality beds and pillows, lovely bathroom and modern amenities while maintaining a higher end boutique hotel feel in a property with history. It felt French, if that's a thing! The breakfast room is light and bright with nice offerings, including some hot items. The garden area was lovely except for the usual cigarette smoke from some patrons. There are some nice restaurants nearby, including Terzo Ristorante and Le Marly. I'd love to return to this property. I'd classify it as romantic.

Amazing boutique hotel in Paris! Very classy and clean rooms, it has all the amenities that you would see in any 5 start hotels. Staff was so warm and welcoming. Everyone starting from the front desk check in to the bar tender were very friendly. Bar tender made amazing drinks for us. James at the front desk made sure we have an amazing stay! It was close 10-12 min car ride proximity to the major attractions. Highly recommended this hotel!
