If you’re looking for a fine dining experience, look no further. We were absolutely blown away by the tasting menu. We still talk about this meal often. The setting is quite intimate, situated in an old and charming house. Each dish was carefully curated and simply delicious. We had excellent wine pairings as well. Outstanding gastronomic fine French food in a informal convivial setting. The restaurant’s spaces are small and cosy, set in an old house, so that you feel like being at home, very close to other clients. The food creativity, mix of ingredients, quality and presentation it’s superb. The staff it’s extremely attentive, nice and ultra- efficient! Just one little detail that I didn’t like is that they charged me for the filtered water when it doesn’t say anywhere in the menu.

Great food, just one small minus that the broccoli was burnt black on the side. They changed it but still another piece was black too. The rest tasted great, nice decoration of food and seating. Extremely friendly service. I went there for lunch. 21€ for the soup and the main was worth it. You should definitely book the seats otherwise no chance here.

It was a good restaurant where you can enjoy French cuisine. It's located near a popular tourist spot in Strasbourg, so it's easy to reach. The prices were also reasonable—you can enjoy a three-course meal for just 27 euros.

Magnificent. A small menu because they know how to make an outstanding meal in a well decorated and bright bistro interior. There's not much to say besides it was one of the best meals I tried during my week in France and the best meal I've had in ages. It was fresh, elegant, and fairly priced. Staff was friendly and could explain in multiple languages the details on the menu- showing the great care des Sophistes puts into every last detail of the dining experience. A must-visit of Strasbourg.

Went on a week night for an anniversary dinner and it was amazing! We did the 6 course tasting menu and the food was perfect. The staff was all so kind, helpful, and english- speaking. Our waiter also helped recommend a delicious local white wine which I was excited about. I could not be more happy with our experience!

Chef's menu was absolutely fabulous! I found this place recommended in the Michelin guide. Everything was incredible - great service, inventive delicious dishes, excellent wine pairing. Chef's menu had amuse bouche, two starters, two entrees, two deserts and then a post-meal treat with a beverage. In the top 25 meals I've had. Reasonably priced. I loved it and would definitely come back here.

A small restaurant with a contemporary decor. Very friendly and helpful staff. The menu is creative and changes often since they use fresh seasonal items. They have a great wine list. We loved both of our wines.
