Exquisite bar with absolutely impeccable service. The food is easily 5 stars, beautifully presented and delicious. The cocktails are superb, well crafted to be powerful but incredibly palatable. Overall experience was outstanding. This was our second visit and the memory didn't disappoint the reality 👌

Feedback and Concern Regarding Recent Experience at American Bar Dear Management, I am writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to the American Bar, which fell far below the high standards we have come to associate with Hotel De Paris over the past decade. During a business meeting held at the bar, my family and I encountered unacceptable treatment from a staff member named Nicholas. He reassigned our reserved table to other guests, resulting in a 45-minute wait for our group. Throughout this incident, Nicholas marchant behavior was rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. His demeanor was tense and insulting, which is completely inconsistent with the respectful and welcoming atmosphere that Hotel De Paris has historically maintained. We have been loyal clients of your establishment for more than ten years, and it is deeply disappointing to see the legacy of exemplary customer service and hospitality being undermined in this way. Moreover, I am aware that other VIP clients and staff members have faced similar issues with this individual, which suggests this may be a recurring problem. I urge the management to investigate this matter seriously and take appropriate action to ensure that the respectful and elegant character of Hotel De Paris is preserved. Nicholas’s conduct is not reflective of the class and standards that your esteemed establishment should uphold. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and to seeing positive changes on my next visit. Sincerely,

Amazing bar and atmosphere!!! From the moment we arrived we felt like we reverted back decades with the lounge, music 🎶 and overall fun and friendly atmosphere. The band rocked the place until 12:30 am and had the entire bar jumping and singing along to their popular set. The setting combined with the music made it a very memorable experience. 👍💪🙏🇲🇨.

They serve some random kebab and try to pass it off as fine dining. It screams “Michelin wannabe” but ends up looking like a sad hangout for old people with no taste. All fake glamour, zero flavor. Complete waste of time and money

It is truly disappointing that the legendary Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, once considered a place for the select few, has lost its former prestige. Le Bar Américain with live music is now filled with the same groups of guests who secure priority through generous tips to the staff. Meanwhile, elegant ladies and gentlemen from Europe’s high society are left waiting in line or are outright refused entry, even when there are empty tables. What once symbolised class and refinement is slowly turning into an exclusive club for a narrow circle, where there is always a table for women of questionable reputation, but not for all who value genuine Monegasque elegance.

Dear Hotel Manager and Relations Manager I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding several recent experiences at Hotel de Paris and the American Bar, particularly concerning the behavior of a staff member named Nicolas mearchant (merchant). No idea how it’s written in Australian Over multiple visits, we have unfortunately encountered repeated incidents where Nicolas has demonstrated a pattern of unprofessional, rude, and aggressive behavior. His attitude has been disrespectful, especially towards families. He has shown a disregard for proper reservation management, often creating confusion, and on occasion, his conduct has bordered on confrontational. This is not just a single occurrence—we have witnessed and experienced this behavior on several occasions during our recent stays. It is particularly upsetting given the long-standing reputation of Hotel de Paris as a place of elegance, tradition, and high standards. Our family has been loyal guests across generations, and this is the first time we have felt compelled to raise a complaint of this nature. It is deeply disappointing to see the legacy and refined spirit of such an iconic establishment being undermined by the conduct of one individual. We expect better from a venue of this caliber. We respectfully request that this matter be taken seriously and that appropriate action be taken to ensure that other guests do not share a similar experience in the future. We would appreciate a response outlining how the hotel intends to address this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matte

I’ve dined in many 5 star restaurants around the world but here there is a very Rude receptionist (tall lady at the door around 8-7pm) we were asking nicely if the restaurant also had outdoor seating and she was very patronising and disrespectful to us. This uncultured woman obviously has not been properly trained and is a poor first impression to the establishment. Bad karma coming her way.

Disappointing Experience The tall lady at the front desk was, unfortunately, just as rude as many other reviewers have warned. It seems the small authority she has over seating has gone straight to her head. Once finally seated in the main bar, we found the atmosphere underwhelming — more reminiscent of a posh Wetherspoons than a premium bar. We didn’t stick around for long and chose to take our business to Café de Paris instead, where both the service and prices were far more enjoyable.
