Le Bar

Loved our visit to Le Bar at Plaza Athénée. Warm, friendly service and an excellent wine list. Ideal spot for after-dinner drinks.

A great time and a professional opportunity to have this experience here in this place. From The Three Musketeers. They was so much better in there job. And welcome the audience that they are here. The entrance and the restaurant are exquisite. Every detail has been taken into account and the final result is great. Yet the bar is definitely not what a palace should offer. The atmosphere feels antique and not in the good way, the decoration is not at its peak (sofas look very used, bad lighting, furniture not organised). Plus the cocktails and the service are not great either. It was a big disappointment overall.

We visited this place today, and the atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were distant, with dry, unfriendly interactions, and no one even bothered to say goodbye when we left. We were celebrating my birthday, and this experience truly ruined my mood. It is disappointing and unacceptable for a hotel of this level, especially one I used to love with all my heart.

I just left a Michelin-starred restaurant and noticed this bar nearby. I am not sure if it is a well-known bar, but I thought I would like to come here for a drink. However, I did not read the reviews beforehand and was unaware of the many negative reviews that had been posted previously. This is the worst bar with terrible manners. The securities pushed me and my friend aside. We stood waiting for almost an hour, while allowing others to cut in front of us because we are Asian. He claimed that I was dressed inappropriately, but my shoes were sneakers and I was wearing sweatpants. I can understand that, but my friend was wearing high-heeled boots and a nice leather coat, and she looked very well-dressed. I told the securities that I didn’t need to enter, but to let my friend in, yet he refused. I urge everyone to avoid supporting this bar until they change their staff and train them to have a better mindset. They should be taught not to allow others to cut in line, and the staff should be more polite.

Classy place with even classier drinks! The inside of the bar is stunning. When we sat down they brought us bar snacks to go with our drinks. The server was very personable and made a drink to match my dress. The drinks tasted great and they even brought out shots on the house for my birthday. I highly recommend this bar for an elevated drinking experience. Our server Luca provided excellent service and recommendations.

Closing earlier than expected I visited the bar around 1:00 AM and was told that they were closing, even though online information indicated that the bar is open until 2:00 AM. It was a bit confusing. I hope this can be clarified for future guests.

I visited the bar and had an amazing time. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was lively and energetic. The DJ kept the crowd entertained with an excellent selection of music throughout the night. The cocktails were absolutely delicious. The bartenders clearly know their craft and created some of the best drinks I've ever tasted. Whether it was a classic cocktail or a unique creation (black mojito) each drink was expertly mixed and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive and friendly, always ready to assist and provide recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend Le Bar to anyone looking for a fantastic night out In Paris. I can't wait to visit again soon!
