Yelp
A very pleasant dining experience with an interesting fusion of French and Mexican cuisines - the best of both worlds. As we entered we were allowed to chose our table and of course we chose one by the window overlooking the old river. Our server, also the owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful with drinks and food selections. The grilled octopus, a perfect way to start was tender and tasty. The pan seared sea bass over risotto perfectly cooked and exceptionally flavorful. All the desserts highlighted the fruits of the spring season. Strawberries were front and center and delicious. Very good wine list, focused on the Cote du Rhone appellation. Reasonably priced, Le Bateleur hits all the right marks.
