"Relax in this stylish, trendy restaurant, nestling in the heart of a snug, arty luxury hotel that embodies the new Parisian chic. The dining room is laid out around an inner courtyard-cum-winter garden, ideal to snuggle up with a good book. This haven of genteel tranquillity is depicted by black lacquered tables, comfy armchairs, floor-to-ceiling windows and sleek white walls. The chef’s well-balanced cuisine revolves around veggies courtesy of painstakingly sourced ingredients." - Michelin Inspector

We had the pleasure of dining at La Baudelaire in Paris and it was nothing short of exceptional. We chose the 3-course menu, and from the very first appetizer, it was clear that each dish was crafted with remarkable care and creativity. My wife had the fish while I enjoyed the lamb. Both dishes were beautifully presented, wonderfully balanced, and full of flavour. Every bite felt thoughtful and refined. We were celebrating my birthday, and the staff made the evening feel incredibly special. Their service was warm, attentive, and genuine without being intrusive. To our surprise, they even gifted us a Polaroid photo as a keepsake of the occasion, a small gesture that made the experience even more memorable. The atmosphere, the cuisine, and the exceptional service all came together perfectly. La Baudelaire truly lives up to its Michelin star. We left feeling grateful, impressed, and eager to return. Highly recommended.

Google
5 stars all around. I’ve been to this restaurant on many occasions and each time is like a dream. The service is impeccable and there is constantly someone who anticipates your needs. No need to worry about anything while you dine. The food is so flavorful and delicious. The portions are either generous or just enough depending on the plate you take. Everything was thought-out for you.

My family and I spent two weeks in France (Paris and Côte d’Azur) and Le Baudelaire was, by far, the very BEST restaurant we dined at during our vacation. I loved dining in the garden. What a beautiful setting. I thoroughly enjoyed the quality and quantity of food. Loved the wait staff and outstanding service! Thank you for making our entire night so very special. Excellent Michelin star restaurant! I can’t wait to come back to Paris and book Le Baudelaire again!

I was embarrassed at the active disdain displayed by the serving staff, making this a thoroughly unpleasant experience. The sommelier was the exception and offered great support (we did order some expensive wines). The wait staff were shocking; clearing plates that were clearly not finished and rolling eyes when this was pointed out. Marine should be called out for her especially rude attitude. The food was good (not amazing; some flavours completely overpowered) but utterly overshadowed by tired decor, horrible dried flower arrangements and appalling service front of house. How this restaurant has a Michelin star I will never know. Would not recommend.

Google
Exquisite experience top to bottom! The dishes were paired so well together, some of them were outstanding like the oyster dish and the fruits de mer with truffles. The pre-dessert with ice cream and pear was something that you could not imagine that would be this tasteful. The service was so well organised and experienced to make the visitor feel special yet cosy. Tha wine selection was interesting with the Porto and a very “greasy” white (ask it like this, they will understand) to stay for long in the memory. I think there are steps to be taken in the sense that “better is the enemy of good”. The conclusion is that I loved the experience and frankly I am confident to suggest it to a person that would ask my opinion for a special meal.

Our three course meal was more than filling. The food offerings were very deserving of the current one star Michelin rating.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Le Baudelaire in Paris. Had a memorable birthday dinner at this Michelin-starred gem! We enjoyed the three-course tasting menu, and the experience was full of delightful surprises between courses. The friendly staff made sure we were well taken care of, accommodating our limited dining time before a theater show. The setting is lovely, though the room is a bit small, and table views vary—some are more suited to a special occasion. Overall, an excellent gastronomic experience!

Google
My experience here was one heck of a culinary ride! Stepping into this fancy Michelin-starred spot, I was practically bouncing with excitement, eager to see what this Michelin-starred restaurant had to offer. Culinary wise – each dish that hit our table was like a work of art, seriously. Chef's veggie creations even managed to impress this die-hard carnivore! It was a ballad of fresh, still exotic flavors that burst senses at each bite. Service – Just what you can expect from a restaurant from this level. I felt like royalty; super friendly and eager to make sure we had the time of our lives. Ambiance – Picture this: cozy, romantic vibes with just the right touch of modern flair to keep things interesting. Yellowish' notes, eclectic accents, and pops of class. All of that dancing together. Long story short, my time at Le Baudelaire was beyond satisfactory. I'd definitely recommend it!

Yelp
These people seem to be working hard to gain a Michelin star. Service is professional, restaurant is nice and food is good. Good, but not memorable.

Yelp
Exquisite meal! We had a group of 8 and came here for my mom's birthday. Did the full tasting menu. They customized the wine pairings to our tastes and (importantly), our desired budget range. Remi, the head sommelier, could not have been more lovely and accommodating - and he chose some fabulous wines!!! The food was well portioned - not teensy tiny, so you could enjoy several delectable bites, but not large, so you could still actually enjoy each course. One in our party had food preferences, and the chef was so kind as to make a different dish or two for her (which he, of course, did not have to do). We were not rushed at all - dinner ended up lasting 5 hours! Remi even had us try a little older tawny port at the end because we had mentioned earlier that we enjoy that. All in all, if you're looking for a blow out type of fancy dinner, this is absolutely worth the money.

Yelp
A splendid evening with friends, thanks to the amazing creativity and presentation of the food, its delightfully light but intense flavors and textures, the quiet and comfort of the seating, and the sommelier's warmth and his sharing of his knowledge and unusual passion for his métier. The perfection of the entire experience put us all in top spirits, making us enjoy our friendships all the more! Compared to other Michelin-starred meals we have had, we would certainly give this at least two stars, not just one.

Yelp
The four of us all had a good to excellent meal. The only complaint was the fish with was a disappointment. The other dishes, including the lamb were tasty with a nice side of vegetables. The desserts were excellent. We tried them all.

Yelp
Was a great first experience at a michelin-starred restaurant! The level of service and quality of food definitely lived up to my expectations and the little complimentary appetizers and bites that the chef prepared were excellently done. In my opinion, some of the food they prepared had some Asian influences (stemming from an Asian family myself) and I personally liked it alot because I've not had Asian food in a really long time as I am studying abroad. The dining setting was really cosy and according to my mom, they actually renovated it not too long ago - there's an outside seating area/garden with pretty fairy lights hanging from the tree which would be a romantic and unique location to dine if it isn't raining/too cold. The menus catered to different budgets and of course, expect the prices to be more than your average restaurants. However, it is definitely worth a try and just take note that the entire table has to get the same menu - in my case I couldn't get the menu with more courses (7 courses) because my mom isn't a big eater and therefore would require me to help her with her food.

Yelp
This restaurant is tucked inside the Le Burgundy hotel. Beautiful art decor. It's definitely 4-5 star restaurant. The staff and service was good. The food was good but didn't hold upto a 4-5 standard the night we ate. We expected a little better tasting after reading some reviews and talking to the staff. It's what you'd expect from a restaurant like this small portions but very decorative and very pricey compared to the portions. We weren't disappointed but we weren't blown away either.

Yelp
Tried this place on the 14th of July, ahead if the fireworks. They didn't happen on the plate. 2 out of 5 plates were undercooked, and while the service was great (expected), the food fell short. I have an issue with commanding that price and less than stellar cooking. Amuses bouches were the best part of the meal...that says it all. As a French, I left disappointed and would not recommend.

Yelp
A great restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday tucked into the Burgundy Hotel off of Rue Saint-Honore. We had the tasting menu with wine parings which was expensive, but we knew what we were getting. We very much enjoyed the restaurant on the 3 principles that we look for: 1) good source ingredients in season. Although some were from a bit further from Paris, the ingredients were very fresh and beautiful especially the autumn vegetables as a salad and to accompany the beef. 2) creative and well presented cuisine. The food was very creative with unique food pairings and mostly in balance. The only exception a slight imbalance to my palate on the scallop with squid ink and lemon foam as the squid ink and lemon were both a bit strong; but that is a minor nit as the other 8 courses were so lovely! 3) service. The service was a little hectic as the waitstaff seemed a bit understaffed for a Michelin 1 star, but over all this was a very enjoyable meal and definitely in our top ten among the meals we have had in our 4 long visits to Paris since 2005. I recommend the restaurant for those comfortable with the price for a very good meal.
