Le Bay Cà Phê

From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the beautiful space and calm atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal. We started with several appetizers. The shrimp spring rolls were absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly wrapped. Each bite was a delightful burst of taste, setting a high bar for the rest of the meal. Next, we moved on to main dishes, and the beef rib was nothing short of incredible. It literally slid off the bone with ease, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to crafting delicious, tender dishes. The flavors were rich and satisfying, leaving us wanting more. To complement the meal, we indulged in some of their amazing cocktails. The drink menu is creative and well-curated, offering a refreshing twist that  perfectly paired with our meal. The service was fantastic and impressively quick, making our dining experience flow smoothly from start to finish. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home.

The food was delicious. I went there with a friend for the first time yesterday and I didn't regret my decision. The waiter was really nice and the atmosphere was good. My only complaint would be the cold water from the bathroom faucet. Other than that, everything was perfect. 👌🏾

Chanced upon this restaurant while on a quick visit to Montreal and this one is a true gem! The beef rib pho is to die for! It’s a cozy spot with great ambience and lovely music. Maya was our server and she was just so kind and warm! :) Definitely coming back!

Perfect, food delicious. The music wasn’t annoying and I was able to have a conversation with my friend. The staff were so nice. Again the food is all worth it

The 20$ Pork Bun lunch deal is out of this world. The pork is smoky and sweet. Generous portions and kind service 💯💯

Delicious Vietnamese dishes in a cute and calm setting. Service was quick and friendly. We went on a Saturday night at like 6 pm and there was literally no one, but I’ve been other times where it was a lot busier. Will be back for sure!

Freaking best Bahn mi I have ever had and the pho is so tasty!! The bun is so fluffy with crunch and the meat is well marinated pairing with picked carrots I can’t ask for more. A mouthful of deliciousness.

Stunning decor upon arrival! A very modernized Vietnamese restaurant serving light snacks and meal options. Fried Wontons - that homemade taste, but the oil was a bit old so it did not have that golden crispy shine to it Phở Đặc Biệt - authentic broth and tasted very decent Cơm Bò Nướng - My FAVOURITE dish of the night - the beef was very well marinated and huge portions Fried Viết Brioche + condensed milk - a new twist on bánh bao that's well balanced with a sprinkle of sea salt on top! Unfortunately, the service was quite unfriendly at some points so minus 1 star for that!

Huh? I don't get the positive reviews for this restaurant. We were shopping on Saint-Laurent when rain began falling. I checked Yelp, found this joint had good reviews. We ran across the street and walked into a non-descript space with no AC on the hottest day of the year. We ordered spring rolls, skewered shrimp and rice, and vermicelli salad with chicken. Everything was so greasy, I spent ten minutes in the bathroom washing down. Flies were circling around laughing at us in the heat. Service was faceless, and they acted like this was a fast food greasy spoon. Maybe that's exactly what it was. We have a trip planned for October to Vietnam. Le Bay Cá Phê makes me wonder if I should cancel.

Came here for supper with the bf and we both really enjoyed our experience! We ordered a ton of food, highly recommend the fried wontons and the bún! We also got the pho which was massive, loaded with lots of rice noodles and toppings, however it was a tad oily for my liking (which is why I am removing a star). We also really enjoyed the vietnamese sweet buns, which came nice and hot and were super soft! The service was friendly and attentive. Definitely reserve if you can because the restaurant isn't the largest and it does get super packed! I would go back for the bún!

I love this restaurant. I've only ever gotten take out but both times the food was so good. Crispy spring rolls and mouth watering noodles and sauce. Can't go wrong with stopping by for lunch or dinner. Super friendly staff as well. Make sure to order your takeout from their restaurant to avoid price gauges from third party apps and that way you can also tip more directly to the servers and cooks.

Great location- very walkable. Welcoming ambience with English-friendly menu and good customer care. Pho was perfectly salted and came with bean sprouts, basil, and lime. Overall a great place to dine.

Having a warm tonkinese soup on a rainy day is so comforting . There is @lebaycaphe in the mill end who will greet you with a smile and great service. This bistro is on the trendy side , beautiful decor. With my vietnamese background, my expectations were higher but they managed to surprise me with this crispy bird nest noodle. the traditional sauce was pimped with coconut curry to blow you away ! so good! the tonkineese soup was well done in its tradition. We were dying for a good old Pho Soup. We found this place on Yelp that seemed decent so Covid obliges, we ordered take out Pho Soups - one chicken and one beef. The meat was fantabulous (we only eat meat once a month so when we eat it, it better be good). The chicken was grilled and juicy; the bouillon not too salty. There were a lot of veggies in the chicken Pho Soup that were cooked al dente. I did wonder why they were cutting the vegetables like the McCain Super French Fries - Crinkle Cut. Normally this announces frozen vegetables... but clearly the veggies were fresh. The gentleman who served us was nice and fast. Too bad we could not eat inside the restaurant as unlike other typical Pho Soup restaurants, this one was cute and cozy. Perhaps there is a tiny adjustment to be made on the quantity of spicy sauce and fresh herbs provided with the soups. If you go there, please make sure to ask for extra!

Grilled Shrimp vermicelli bowl and Pho from Le Bay Ca Phe on St. Laurent street . * Every dish was an absolute pleasure to have , but the pho was a bit bland to my taste. We really enjoyed the grilled shrimp specifically * Cozy and warm vibe, good place to start trying Vietnamese cuisine. * Will definitely come back !

great spot, delicious fried wontons and bánh mì -- cool space, very nice waiter. Perfect for a quick lunch while walking around exploring the neighborhood.

I've been here three times and every time it's great. The imperial and spring rolls are tasty. The peanut sauce is delicious. I usually get the small pho - I've had beef, chicken, and tofu - all were good. The soups come so hot that you really want to have something to eat before you start on the soup. This also gives the veggies time to soften up a little more in the broth. The broth could even be eaten all on its on, the flavour's so rich. The service is friendly and fast. Bonus points for the place being super clean.

Found this place by complete fluke starving between meetings and it was fate! I love it! It's perfect! And the food and Vietnamese coffee amazing. Really good service and kind people too: highly recommend!

Really good! Didn't change my life (for me a 5 star has to be exceptional to the point where I'm shocked how good it is), but really really good :)

This is the place to go! My friend and I felt really exhausted from the brutally cold weather and were just looking for some warming comfort food. This place went above and beyond in delivering! I got the chicken pho and my friend got the tofu pho. We both agreed it was some of the best pho we have ever eaten! If you want a really amazing bowl of noodle soup you need to come here!

I had the crispy bird's nest noodles and it was delicious. The peope with me had the bun and liked it too. Nice to have a decent selection of vegetarian options.

This restaurant has very delicious Pho. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. This is definitely one of my new "go to" places in the neighborhood. I highly recommend it :)
