A perfect stopover on the way to Spain! The rooms are comfortable and housed in a charming, characteristic building. The bathrooms have been recently modernized, adding a touch of luxury. Make sure to book the restaurant—it's an experience you won't want to miss. We had one of the best dinners we've enjoyed in ages. However, the prices reflect the high quality of both the food and the overall experience. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making our stay truly memorable.

I adored staying at this riverside hotel and did not want to leave. The management and staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome despite us speaking very little French! They accommodated all requests and were super helpful. We had a room that faced the river, which was incredibly tranquil, and we could open the windows and doors to the balcony, so there was plenty of fresh air. The mattresses were comfortable, and the bedding wasn't too heavy, so we slept perfectly. The room was spotless and had lovely fabrics and furnishings. The hotel is well located for riverside walks, bike rides, exploring the vineyards and wandering the village. We dined at the in-house restaurant, and the food (classical French with modern influences) was of a very high standard. The wine list was also excellent, with a fine selection of local wines (we enjoyed a delicious Condrieu and a fabulous Côte Rôtie from a small producer). It is a charming place with personality, genuine warmth and old-fashioned hospitality, and I very much look forward to returning.

Hotel requires some modernization as it becomes a bit old fashioned. Worth of going for its terrace with a view on the river. Restaurant has a very good food but service a bit clunky and prices remain high (especially vines selection). Breakfast not worth of buying (quality / price) - maybe only for its terrace view.

The best hotel in Condrieu. Breathtaking views of the Rhône, large and comfortable suites with king-size beds, spacious bathroom with bathtub and shower. Terrace overlooking the river. The restaurant provides exceptional gourmet food, with a well-trained and welcoming staff. The owners' hospitality is excellent. A very good choice for visiting Lyon and wineries.

The hotel is beautifully situated on a lovely bend in the Rhône river, with a terrace and lawn going down to the river. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, atmosphere is discrete and calm, the food is excellent and the staff welcoming and attentive. A well-run establishment which it was treat to find. Food and rooms are worth the price.

I would not recommend staying here. The rooms are run down and poorly appointed. We were skeptical of the room's cleanliness and even wore our sandals in the shower. They have wifi, but we could never connect. Also a warning, you cannot check in or even drop bags before 3pm. In our case it was 3:30pm, we waited with other couples, for them to open up in order to check in. We were able to confirm with another couple that if you book through booking.com, this place automatically puts you in a room with two twin beds.

We booked direct with hotel in March for our stay end August. Several emails exchanged as well as calls. This return trip was very special to us as stated in email and on calls.. We were returning after 25 years to celebrate retirement. Privilege Room booked in main building with antique furniture but no view of Rhone. Upon arrival no recognition of our return. Shown to room not in main building. Good size but horrid reproduction modern furniture. Made our case at reception but hard work to get them to understand . Claire did help us eventually but we felt no empathy. We were given upgrade to excellent room. Not once was our retirement or return mentioned. . Quite excellent cuisine. Superb dining staff. Good secure parking. Clearly a lot of money spent on wine and food and worth every penny. Breakfast exceptional on terrace as was dinner. As we left a lovely waitress from dinner came out to say goodbye and wish us well on our trip. I wish I’d got her name. All in all this could have been an e exceptional review if only attention to detail upon arrival had been adhered too. We will definitely return but with caution on room booking and continue to recommend. Thank you.
