Known by its detractors as the “Berlamonster,” this huge glass and metal lopsided X-shaped structure is home to the European Commission. Whatever your feelings about the Berlaymont, its imposing stature is impressive. EU flags representing the EU member states, line the back of the building. This is the European Commission headquarters building ! The architecture is stunning, clearly one of the first buildings you lay eyes on when you arrive to the area ! On top of being huge, the building has a unique shape ! European flags waving all around makes it easy to spot and identify. Nice sitting area in front of it and very convenient transport system around it including bus and metro 👍🏻
