"The chef finds his inspiration in deepest Brittany, illustrated by dishes such as crumbly buckwheat in butter and shallots, but is also open to other influences, as the loin of roast croaker, grenobloise seasoning and shellfish bisque illustrate. Well-crafted food, cheerful service, a digestible bill and only a few knots from the beach." - Michelin Inspector

Nice price with good food, what else you are expecting more? They also serve very quickly and servers are very friendly. We ordered omelette and galette super complete. We both enjoyed a lot! Highly recommended.

The lunch hour was very busy and there are only 2 people serving. Yet the food was excellent and delivered in quite a good pace. We waited a bit long for the salmon but it was simply because they cook it by order. It was delicious and we didn't regret it at all.

Inside the walled city we found this nice restaurant! It has everything we wanted, a great variety of muscles and vegan salads! They also have galettes and all in all, a varied menu. The service was fast, really friendly and the food sooo good.

Friendly staff. Tasty sarrasin galettes. Place is cozy. Too bad they don’t offer menus anymore.

Yelp
When in Brittany, galettes and crepes are what you eat. This place is really good, and open during the off-season when many places close. Basic food, done well. Best galette I had in the region.

Yelp
When in France, crepes and galettes are a must. My school went on a field trip to Saint Malo, and my friends and I were starving after a cold, windy tour of the fort. We found this place, which is very close to the entrance, but not close enough to be a tourist trap, and we sat ourselves down upstairs. I got the Menu of the Day (10,40 euros), which included the Galette of the Day, a simple sweet crepe (you can choose from Chocolate, Caramel, or Jam), and a drink of your choice (coffee, tea, apple juice). I got the tea, and they gave me a whole pot to myself! The Galette of the Day was a mushroom cream, and a salad with a mustard dressing. This was my first time eating a galette, and I was blown away. The galette itself, which is made with buckwheat flour, was amazing. I thought the galette was just going to be a vessel for the mushroom and salad toppings, but boy did this thing have flavor! Everything about it was amazing, and I dreaded finishing it. After we were finished with our galettes, the server came back and asked which sweet crepe we'd like - we all got the chocolate. This crepe really was just a crepe with melted dark chocolate, but it was amazing. The crepe itself was sweet - I honestly think I could have just eaten that and been okay. The melted dark chocolate was so good. I don't know if it was premium chocolate, but it was way better than any chocolate I've ever gotten back in Hawaii. Our server, luckily, spoke English, and let us split our tab when we were finished.

Yelp
My husband thought the Gallette de la Mer was outstanding. Not so attractive covered in a creamy sauce, but the Gallette was bursting with seafoody goodness. I got a salad. Was fine.

Yelp
A nice square to stop, sadly not a great place to eat. Basic food ok, as they've bought it at the bakery around the corner. Crepes so so. Service surly. Look elsewhere.
