Had the pleasure of dining at this 1-star Michelin restaurant tucked away in a prime spot in Madrid — and it did not disappoint. Service was spot-on: fast, attentive, and the staff really knew their stuff, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
The food? Unreal. Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection, the croquettes were crispy little flavor bombs, and the ratatouille was elevated without trying too hard. The soufflé at the end sealed the deal — light, rich, and everything a dessert should be.
The atmosphere hit a sweet spot between fancy and comfortable — upscale but not stiff, and nice and quiet so you can actually enjoy a conversation.
Special shoutout to the sommelier: absolute pro. Nailed every wine pairing, each one complementing the dishes without overpowering them. You could tell they cared about the craft.
All in all, it lived up to the star and then some. Would go back in a heartbeat.
