Le Bistrot

At first we tried the place because they did veggie and fish options, but the service was genuinely the best I ever had in my life. The place is immaculate, the food is homely and tasty, but the service is remarkable. I've taken my toddler to Boulangeries in the city for lunch before, one, Fabuleuse something, literally asked how quickly we could eat and leave (he had no reserved tables just didn't want is there). Lots of others make it super awkward about having a pram even if there's space, basically always feeling unwelcome. Le Bistro was so welcoming to my child, held his hand, played with him, even gave him Christmas chocolate, that the little one ate well, played, just had an amazing time because he was so happy. It was just totally beyond. The value for money is also great, we will be back there again and again

Amazing find in the centre of Besançon for a delicious lunch! Possibly the best real potato chips I’ve ever eaten, mouthwatering Reblochon burger, lovely (and huge!) salads and a good kids’ menu too. The staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating, putting up with our stilted french and nothing was too much trouble. Nice shaded seating area outside. Would definitely recommend and hope to return to explore more of the menu, and of this beautiful town!

Great food (breakfast and lunch at noon) and wonderful service. With local specialties. We'll return.

Excellente adresse découverte par hasard avec un super accueil.Les plats que nous avons mangé étaient bon et copieux. Le service est rapide et soigné du début à la fin et pourtant le restaurant était plein. Le tout pour un tarif correct.

Ca fait un petit moment qu on se fait livrer car la cuisine est bonne, et c est bcp de produits maison.. Ce soir un petit peu déçue. Pour la soupe contente un peu moins épaisse que d habitude au top , par contre le jambon était très bon mais très sec, la dernière fois il y avait dessus une petite sauce qu on avait pas ce soir et les frites un peu trop grosses par rapport à d habitude, plus fines.. Pour les pana cotta toujours aussi bonnes.. Merci à vous..

C'est quand même décevant que dans un resto où quasiment tout tourne autour de la frite, que vous ne fassiez pas de frites fraîches. Du coup je ne peut pas dire que ce que j'ai mangé était bon. C'était des frites surgelées quoi..... Sinon l'accueil est sympathique et le service correct.
