"A nostalgic friendly vibe and good food are the backbone of this inviting local version of a “bouchon lyonnais”. The traditional, extensive menu takes you back in time with dishes such as confit of duck and salardaise potatoes or boulets à la liégoise (meatballs) – among the best in town! Heartwarming, no-nonsense food, served generously and prepared with respect for time-honoured recipes. Spot on every time." - Michelin Inspector

A small group of friends and I had dinner at this funky-looking restaurant. It's a small place with a terrace and a cool, eclectic mix of decor. You know the feeling when you find a place that exceeds your expectations? Well, this is that place. They have a true chef. We tried a variety of dishes, from bone marrow and escargot to lamb shoulders and oysters. Everything had an amazing flavor profile.

The young waiter is very friendly and sweet. (Hope the boss can see that 😄). the fois gras is super high quality considering the price. Lots of traditional northern French dishes. Recommendable!

Unfortunately the service is a catastrophe. You are constantly being ignored unless you are a regular (then you will be greeted with kisses and fawned over). You have to beg to be able to order or re-order, and you are treated with disdain, arrogance and snottiness. I speak French, the language was not the issue. The food is okayish, though it was the worst Sauce Béarnaise I have ever tried (the consistency and temperature of cold butter) and the cook seems to hate salt. If you like to be mistreated by rude waiters, this is the place to go, if not, abstain.

Very decorated place. Small dishes. The slowest serve I ever saw. No One looked for our needes

We were very disappointed for our first experience. The service was super slow. We had to ask everything 2 or 3 times. The food was good except for one of the guest who asked his meat pink. It arrived rare and after asking to cook it a little bit longer it was more than overcooked. It is a nice little bistrot but our experience was overpriced.

Good food, for a fair price. I had mussels and a terrine of foie gras. Should try the 3x award winning café Liégeois as desert. Paid about €60,- including drinks alcoholic & softdrinks.

The food is great, but you will find as good or even better in other close local restaurants. The service however is not the best, it is very slow and not the most friendly. You might have to ask a few time and be patient. In my opinion, you can find much better places in Liege.
