Another unplanned dinner! We walked around looking for a restaurant before finally finding this one, because we wanted to eat good Belgian food. Some were full, others didn't look very appealing. We almost gave up and went for ramen, but then we found this place.
We were so lucky to get a table even though we didn't have a reservation.
It's a Belgian-French style restaurant. It was convenient because they had an English menu, so we didn't have to struggle with translation.
We ordered ham as an appetizer – it was delicious and whetted our appetite. The bread was also tasty. We didn't know what the amuse-bouche was, but it was good.
For the main course, we ordered Liege-style meatballs served in a sizzling hot pot – absolutely amazing! We also had duck; the meat was incredibly tender and delicious.
For dessert, we had chocolate mousse, which was also delicious.
In short, everything was delicious. The prices weren't expensive, but you should bring cash because the card machine was broken when we went, so we had to go to an ATM to pay. 😅
