Le Bistrot d'Antoine

"Near Place St-Étienne and the rue des Frères, this bistro has cracked the formula for success: seasonal produce, generous dishes from the traditional repertoire (snails in garlic butter, chicken casserole with morels, cream and vin jaune), a friendly atmosphere, a natural and organic wine list... and good value for money." - Michelin Inspector

Google
Recommended by our guide and close to the hotel this was the perfect lunch spot. We would have liked to have sat outside, except we did not have reservations. The server was busy while at the same time provided exceptional service. I had the salmon with vegetables and rice. It was superb. The place is very reasonable.

Food was good , 4 out of 5 as the beef steak was well done and a little chewy but the gravy fenomenal.

Well... Not exactly what we expected based on the revious. For 25-29eur price per plate I expected to eat something really delicious. The duck was blunt, the braised beef was burnt, the lab was extremely taf. Portions where on the small side. On the positive side the potato puree was a super star and the desert was something new to me. Service took long but we where notified in advance, yet for premade food that was strange. 150euro four persons with beer. The have a fixed menu, less options but better value for money.

A good choice for French cuisine in Strasbourg. Been there 2 years ago and I was excited , so we went back this year. The frog legs and the beef were excellent. We were not so excited with the snails and the sweets. Still a recommended place

Let's just say I will think about my lunch here -- especially that bone marrow! -- for years and years to come. Every dish was spectacular and beautiful to boot, the space was charming, and the service was good. I will go back to Strasbourg JUST to eat here again!

loved this place! a staple. food tasted like the ones that grandma made. sweeatbread was amazing. almost wanted to order another one. also quail was delicious with the mushrooms. found a biodynamic wine on their list, but they promised to refresh their selection with more great wine.

Heavenly delicious food.. Food was top notch, 10/10! Each course was presented beautifully and you can taste the fresh ingredients, the sides were also scrumptious and it was a friendly atmosphere, the owner was super helpful and very friendly, we were glad to have come across this Bistro. Highly recommend to visit (and preferably book) whenever in Strasbourg!

Yelp
We happened upon this two year old French restaurant while walking on a side street in a less touristy part of Strasbourg. We decided to stop in for lunch when we saw a 2019 Michelin sticker on the front window for a Gourmand rating. A small charming interior was encountered after drawing back a velvet curtain that blocked the cold at the entrance. The amuse-bouche, beef entree and madelines brought to the table for espressos after the meal inspired audible sounds of pleasure. At such a reasonable price for remarkable food, this establishment bears mention. Hats off to the chef and his crew.
