For a perfect afternoon in Paris, this place is a must! Lovely outdoor dining. Very good service. As an added bonus, we came dragging all of our luggage and they happily accommodated everything. Definitely get the onion soup.

2025 I returned for another great meal. Good place to eat and relax. 2024. A local bistro with a friendly atmosphere and a cheery buzz. A good welcome. It was a cold night, so the joue de boeuf seemed a good choice. Washed down with a glass of Brouilly, it was just what I needed.

If I could, I would give 6 stars! All thanks to Chloe, We go out dining a lot, but this you almost never encounter. How she serves the people is outstanding; unbelievable friendly, honest and righteous. The place is beautiful, cute and above all the total Paris feeling! Then the food and drinks, just great. We saw; oysters 1eur per piece, honestly we we're actually scared. Eating oyster in Paris for 1eur; Where on earth is this possible. Most important of all they tasted good and where fresh. This evening we'll come back, without doubt. Keep up the good work, you guys made our evening 👌. Thank you

A place that truly feels like home! Our experience at Bistro de la Place was exceptional. The cozy atmosphere, warm welcome, and heartfelt service made us feel truly cared for. The food was outstanding – flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. One evening, we arrived late, but Simon and the team kindly served us a delicious meal, turning a late arrival into a lovely memory. This is "not just a restaurant" – it’s a place where hospitality meets soul, where every guest feels special, and where food becomes part of the experience.

Very small and lovely bistro tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of Paris. Nice staff, good food.

Stumbled across this place by accident as the Italian restaurant we’d wanted to go to was full. I’m glad we did. While the menu is typical French bistro fare, the waiter was attentive and friendly. We were hungry, but not that hungry and it was no problem to split items. All in all a great experience. The staff spoke good English, and English menus were provided as required.

We stumbled upon this place last year while visiting. My kids were still talking about it last night, a year later. It was the best meal we had in Paris and we went twice and the kids, three times. My kids promise there will never be a hamburger that compares to this place!

We were exhausted after flying all night from the US and chose Le Bistro de la Place for our first restaurant in Paris across the street from our flat. We had a delightful dining experience and the owner and staff were so patient dealing with our rudimentary French. I woke the next morning only to discover my purse with my passport, money and credit cards was not in our flat. We quickly returned to the restaurant and the owner was happy to return my purse and nothing was missing. He had even gone so far as to call local hotels to try to find us. We returned 3 more times each time enjoying a delicious meal. Not only was the food excellent but the owner, Claude, and his waiter, Johan, were truly special people. We highly recommend this restaurant. We were in Paris for 15 nights.
