Le Bistrot des Halles

This restaurant was open on Monday, one of the few in Le Havre that was. It got very busy once it seemed like the locals were coming in for their lunch break. Mostly French is spoken here. Little English was spoken by the staff. The food was very good. Our favorite dishes were the cutlet and the chocolate mousse. But all of our meals were very good.

So nice place,it was first place in Le havre which gave me only good and positive emotions in everything... This place have everything:so nice food(which quality and so tasty),so good atmosphere and almost perfect service (with so polite and professional workers). Our waiter was so good,thanks him a lot and lady Kety she so sweet. Thank u guys it was my birthday, and u did this day special caz of your work. Keep it up. I definitely recommend this place for everyone...

Nice portions of very good food, served carefully by an attentive and courteous staff. The interior decorations are superb.

Lovely place, delicious food.

Last year we couldn’t get into this restaurant as it was so busy. This year we made reservations 2 weeks prior to arriving on 10/27/18. The food is excellent and the service impeccable! Very affordable! 2 bottles of bordeaux @€46.40, entrees around €13 to 15.50, after dinner drink Pommeau €5.60 each. We had a huge party about 15 ppl and our waiter was kind enough to break down the bill as we were all paying separately.

Food was okay until I almost swallowed a strain of steel scourer in my risotto. The waiter just said sorry in passing and walked away. I wonder if other french speaking guests are treated this way in this restaurant. Not recommended for tourists - no English menu and not much help offered to figure out what to get in this restaurant.

first steak was as tough as shoe leather sent it back second was almost raw.

Really nice freanch food from all over France ready to be served in Le Havre. Great wine options to check. They have a lunch menu same as all day menu optional to tast the most of their offer
