"A stone’s throw from the palace of Versailles, the Bistrot du 11 continues to specialise in fine bistronomic fare served in a smart, yet relaxed setting. At the helm of this popular eatery (bookings essential), chef Gaëtan Le Mauff rolls out his consummate command of first-class ingredients in a finely crafted menu. Everything is appetising from the snout in vinaigrette, olive oil, pistachio and caper sauce or veal with roast Jerusalem artichoke and a blanquette sauce to the sublime medley of oranges. Dinky terrace in fine weather." - Michelin Inspector

5 New Bib Gourmands in Paris

"Duck-blue walls, cement tiles on the floor and comfortable banquettes can all be found at this bistro located on a pedestrianised street not far from the Château de Versailles. The team behind the Michelin-Starred La Table du 11, led by the young Jean-Baptiste Lavergne-Morazzani, who trained at the neighbouring Gordon Ramsay au Trianon and the Pavillon Ledoyen in Paris. The menu features seasonal, bistronomic dishes, such as baked egg salad and coconut; beef, potato and garlic; and Paris-Brest with pecan nuts. Vegetables come straight from the Chef's garden in Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche!" - Le Guide MICHELIN

The best lunch we had in Versailles! This restaurant truly deserves its Michelin Guide recognition. The menu is simple, clear, and thoughtfully curated. I highly recommend the veal, cod fish, and white asparagus—all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. For dessert, the apple and orange sorbet is a refreshing and elegant finish. An outstanding dining experience from start to finish. Prior reservations will be necessary.

Google
The bistrot of La Table du 11 (1 Michelin star) which was awarded a Bib Gourmand. Good quality cooking, the White Asparagus were in season but mine was extra huge. The fish was also nice, gently cooked and seasoned perfectly. The dessert was a highlight, the dacquoise had a strong almond flavor and blends effortlessly with the blood orange sorbet. A combination I never thought of

The tartar was good but a bit salty, the shrimp avocado was served with browning avocado & smallest shrimp that I ever saw. The egg appetizer was the best. The cod dish was pretty good, the pork was a bit dry/tough with good sauce, chicken was good especially the mushroom. The dipping sauce/dots are a bit salty. I am glad we ordered 3 meals for 2 of us; otherwise, would have gone home hungry. The desserts were excellent. Price was fair for a Michelin rated restaurant.

The food is worthy of its Michelin star. Complex cooking in the kitchen before coming to the table transforms into simple, heart warming dishes. Nothing pretentious and yet full of flavours and textures. Had opted for a 5 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Each and every dish was a show stopper. In particular was the cod with saffron emulsion (no photograph available) was a novel and bold dish with the subtle flavours combined together that played out very well on the palette. So was the chicken with mushrooms dish (picture attached), details of which I forget, but the taste of which still lingers on. And not only the food, even the wines were excellent. Worth the trip from Paris. And if you are in Versailles, then a must visit.

It was difficult to get a reservation to this place but it was definitely worth the wait! Located in a busy pedestrian street, it doesn't look like much from the facade but once you step inside, it's simple yet chic, not pretentious. The staff speak English so that helps. The presentation was impeccable and the food was delicious. Especially the dessert... to die for!! We had the 3 course (starter, main, dessert). It doesn't sound like much but it is enough and filling. We had the white asparagus and the salmon for starters. The cod and pollack for main. And the rhubarb and Paris-Brest for dessert. The sauces in the mains were light and yet full of flavour. Truly delicious and for sure worth the money. Will definitely come back in 2 months when they change the menu.

I went during lunch and I was greatly surprised by their menu of 5 sequences. Every dish was perfect and the quality and mix of flavors is something I never experienced before. Their cod, salsify (first time I tried it) and curry might be one of the best dishes I’ve had in my life (and I have been at Michelin restos in other cities, so I know what I am talking about). I also loved the camembert dessert. From the welcoming to the end, the service was excellent and promptly. The wine pairing was perfect and I tried a particular wine from the region. I was fascinated for the attention to detail, but overall, for the quality of food. Although it is among the “Bib Gourmand” Michelin guide, definitely it has the quality to become a Michelin star. The lunch menu is affordable considering the 5 dishes (60 euros) + petite bouche and definitely would come back again. 😋🌎🍽️✈️ Sabor Kairos

Google
Amazing. So for some fortunate reason, I missed the emails stating my reservation was t confirmed and then that I didn’t have a reservation. We showed up, and despite that they still found us a table. And wow. Presentation, service, wine even dessert were spot on. Simple yet sophisticated. Wine a perfect match.

Yelp
Same chef from Le Table du 11 (Michelin 1-star)... We wanted something quick and casual before fighting through the crowds at the palace of Versailles. Little did we know... They have the casual part down pat. But the food, served in courses, is anything but... in a good way though. We had an excellent chicken entree and an excellent fish entree on the heels of very nice starters. In hindsight, our lunch was the best part of our Versailles visit (way too many people there when we visited). Depending on the heat and the crowds this might be your highlight as well...
