"This aptly named establishment (a warm welcome does await!) is an excellent option in the heart of the Haut-Doubs. For four generations, this inviting and comfortable chalet that is typical of the region has been practising the art of Jura-style hospitality. St Point Lake is across the road, Le Suchet mountain and Switzerland just beyond. Here, they put their heart and soul into providing good food that is an ode to the region. Chef Marc Faivre worked at Georges Blanc, Pierre Gagnaire and Maison Lameloise before returning to his homeland, where his fine and tasty cuisine delights diners: trout with blue cheese or absinthe, free-range chicken, morels and Jura vin jaune sauce (of course!) or roast pigeon, duck foie gras and artichoke." - Michelin Inspector

Classy restaurant in a romantic atmosphere with jazz bossa nova songs. Excellent food: from perch fillets cooked with herbs and spices that enhance the flavour of the fish, real French fries (not frozen) incredibly crunchy and made like "curls" ➰ The Dama Blanche a multi-layered dessert with vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate cream and homemade chantilly cream. I appreciated that the dessert is not too sugary and this alternation between the sweet ice cream and the sugar-free melted chocolate together with the sugar-free chantilly maison was really interesting. Professional workers and classy. Background music that made the atmosphere romantic and refined. Very elegant “noble palace” furnishings, a pleasure for the eyes. All surrounded by large windows where natural light from outside illuminates the interior. Decorations with rococo style curtains, large chandeliers and flowering trees are truly splendid. Restaurant located near a stream in Divonne. Highly recommend.

The filet de bœuf was very good, but the filet de perche was extremely dry, and the risotto was both dry and cold. Still, the most upsetting part of the evening was the way the manager treated the waitress. She seemed to think we didn’t notice, but we did—we saw her shouting at the waitress behind the scenes. Then the poor waitress had to come back out smiling and serving customers like nothing happened. It was uncomfortable to witness, and honestly, unacceptable. Someone needs to speak to this manager. No one should be treated like that at their job.

Reserved a table on a Sunday for a family with a baby. High chair provided, changing area on the bathroom. A bit of wait time for the food but worth it. Servers are really great. Main dish were excellent. Missing one star because the dessert was somehow dry. Other than that, definitely will come back here.

Excellent variety of starters and main courses. Staff are friendly and attentive. Make sure you have green pass (COVID vaccination certificate). The history and decorations of the place are part of the restaurant’s charm. Please don’t leave without trying their signature dessert.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. They were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the meal. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was impressively quick. The beautiful setting and decor added to the overall ambiance, making it a delightful dining experience. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

Yelp
A new place in town and much needed. First of all the renovations to the run down building are really spectacular compared to what was there before. Murano style chandeliers in red in an all white room. Very nice. The wait staff were very friendly and even spoke English, much to my pleasant surprise. I have been here twice now and bot h time ate a perfect meal. Once I tried the filet de perche, which were perfectly cooked and delicious side items with them. The second time I had the steak tartare which I presume has an Italian flair to it, the raw egg was served on the side which I left out and the spices were a bit Italian and loaded with kick so I enjoyed it. Dessert....dessert means chocolate for me so I had to try the special dessert of the day, molleux. I will be a regular customer here for sure.
