These are the best Macaron’s I’ve ever had. The place is beautiful inside, it almost doesn’t feel real. And they have so many flavors! For fall, they had the pumpkin crème brûlée and my boyfriend really enjoyed it. I can’t believe how tasty they are, and perfectly textured. This is dangerous as I work closeby! I will be back!

Google
Best macarons in Ann Arbor! Rotating seasonal flavors, perfect size and bake, plus yummy drink options in store. Really cute vibes to sit and stay awhile, too. Always great customer service, and excellent gifting options.

Lindsey K.

Google
Super cute little place to get the best treats! We got some to go since they don’t ship them (in fear of cracking). Parking is a little shotty but worth it to get some unique event treats!

I stopped by this bakery recently to try out some of their baked goods. The place was clean and had a nice, inviting smell of fresh bread and pastries when I walked in. The staff was polite and got my order ready pretty quickly. I tried a few items — the croissant was flaky and buttery, and the cookies were soft with a good flavor. Prices seemed reasonable for what you get. There wasn’t a huge selection later in the day, so it might be better to visit earlier in the morning for more variety. Overall, it’s a decent local spot if you’re in the mood for something freshly baked.

Google
The blueberry lemon macaron was perfect flavor wise, but unfortunately out of the $30 pack of 12 it was the only one to stand out. I love macarons and had been debating on trying Le Bon Macaron but always sought elsewhere due to the pricing. Yesterday I decided to treat myself and a friend, unfortunately every single macaron was baked at too low of a temperature and the tops were hallow and crumbly. I understand that macarons can be fickle and difficult to bake but for the price I would think it would be a given that they are baked correctly. A lot of the macorons in the variety I got lacked flavor. The strawberry margarita and salted chocolate tasted of pure salt. The cafe is cute but I’m disappointed with what I got and will unfortunately not be coming back.

Google
They said their macrons always crumble and dry. I try to explain this not fresh or something happened during production. They didn’t even try to offer something else. You can see all crumble pieces inside the box.

Google
The cutest little macaron shop! The decor is so light and fun. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They have drinks and 20+ different flavors of macarons. Though $2.50/each is pricey for a small dessert, it is a more elegant treat, which makes a great gift or special treat to have with a cup of coffee. The flavors and textures of the macarons are incredible and of the best I’ve tried. Can’t wait to come back to try some more flavors!

Google
I had the English Tea with my sister and we had such a fun time! The macaroons were delicious and the tea was great! I could eat their macaroons all day! It was a little over priced for the amount of food we got. Only 3 pieces of cheese per person. Don't go hungry. The place is a little smaller than I thought it would be. There wasn't enough room on the table for everything and there wasn't enough room in the room for a bigger table, but they did bring out a little tray to put the overflow stuff on. It was overall a fun experience that I'm glad I was able to share.

Yelp
We were visiting friends in AnnArbor and were downtown and wanted a treat after some shopping. They took us here which is a fave of theirs it's a really cute little shop with nice seating, French themed decor and a welcoming staff. The case of macarons was beautiful , multicolored rows of well labelled flavors. We each made some selections and ordered some drinks. Our hosts ordered a large French press pot to share. I had time to speak with staff about the last k of space for baking and how they arrived at so many flavors. They do not bake onsite but receive frozen shipments from the main bakery in Grand Rapids as handiest the Holland, Michigan store. They defrost enough each for each day so they never run out of flavors. They were some of best I have ever had. Nothing like what you might find in the bakery section of a grocer. This is an historic residential building retrofit with a nice conversion to retail without losing its charming brickwork. I will definitely return when next in Ann Arbor.

Yelp
I've wanted to stop by but always had planned activities elsewhere. Until today. The shop is beautiful: exposed brick walls, small marble-topped tables, petite vases filled with flowers, sparkly chandeliers, and a garland of pink and white flowers. It's so appealing. The macarons displayed in the case were equally appealing. I don't recall all the flavors, but I had a tough time picking out flavors for my friend and, of course, something for me. I chose three macarons to enjoy at the shop: blueberry, coconut, and strawberry cheesecake. I liked the delicate crack of the macaron shells and the creamy, flavorful centers. Each sported a design to distinguish itself from the others further. I also had a piping hot Earl Gray tea along with these treats. Espresso, French and Italian sodas, and lattes are also available. Customers stopped in throughout my visit for a quick purchase or to savor their macarons at nearby tables. Service was disappointing.

Yelp
If you've read my dessert experiences, you know that I'm limited to very few macarons in one sitting, if any at all. It's a sensitivity to the almond flour. Since I'm allergic to coconut, Macaroons are also out. We came to Ann Arbor and bought the French Macaron Signature collection of various cookies. I've eaten one of each with no problems. I got so excited we drove back the following weekend and bought more. I will still be responsible and eat them sparingly. But it's such a Godsend that I can once again enjoy these delights. Thanks for indulging me! The macaron options are many and they're all terrific. It's also difficult to choose between their hand crafted sodas, teas and coffees. It's a nifty little spot to sit and enjoy macarons or a scone and a cup of your favourite. You'll love the staff, too. They've always been friendly and patient with us. Even during busier times. 07/25

Yelp
Stumbled across this little gem while in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor! Le Bon is more than macarons. They serve Rowsters French press coffee and espresso, fresh scones Thursday-Sunday, as well as French and Italian sodas made with their hand-crafted fruit puree. The cafe is beautifully decorated and super inviting. The staff is friendly and quick to serve. A great spot for a bestie catchup or afternoon tea.

Yelp
The employees were the absolute sweetest! The shop was incredibly cute and clean and would love to go back with a friend. It's the perfect place to sit with a drink and some delicious macarons. I got the salted caramel and the chocolate almond. I want to go back and try the vanilla next!

Yelp
Adorable French cafe with beautiful and delicious macarons and coffe creations. Clean, chic ambiance.

Yelp
Absolutely favorite place to stop at in Ann Arbor! This place is ungodly adorable! From the little gifts to the bright colored macarons, this place is a social media managers dream. The macaroons are some of the best I've had in Michigan they have the classic flavors and ones that rotate in and out with the seasons! I highly recommend

Yelp
I didn't think I liked macarons until I tried these. The macarons are so light and delicious. The shop is super cute. They have a couple tables to sit inside. They serve coffee drinks as well. My favorite flavor is hazelnut. These make the cutest gift.

Yelp
I've officially tried every macaron place in metro detroit. I've been reserving judgment until I tried Le Bon. Verdict at the bottom. I've been wanting to try this place for years. Since back when they were one of the only macaron places in town. The place was very cute. Very "we serve macarons here". Reminded me of is Laudree painted their walls white and toned it down a little. Service was friendly. The macarons were!..........alright. As a self proclaimed macaron connoisseur, I look for 3 things: texture, flavor, appearance. Some of their macarons had all 3. Some had only 2. The lack of consistency is what took away points for me. I tried: Special flavor: Yuzu PB&J Raspberry rose Almond Blue moon Matcha And the last one I forgot the name. It was something and champagne I think. I started with Yuzu- 2/3 (cute, good texture, no flavor) Almond 3/3 PB&J 3/3 but didn't really taste the J Something and champagne 2/3 (no flavor) Blue moon 3/3 Raspberry rose 2/3 (no flavor) Matcha 2/3 (no flavor- this one really hurt cuz I love matcha anything) The texture was decent but it wasn't special or unique. It's the same texture pretty much everyone else has. While a couple had nice flavors, none of them wowed. None of the macarons told me I needed to make the trip and come back. So now with all my macaron adventures, who is officially the best? (In my opinion of course) Le Detroit Macaron in Hamtramck. Very consistent. In all 3.

Yelp
Cute macaron shop in downtown Ann Arbor. We bought their standard pack of 6 for $15. Service was very friendly as well.

Yelp
Ambiance Food Service We had popped in today because we thought today was still part of Restaurant Week in Ann Arbor. Sadly, we missed the special today, but bonus for us was that we weren't limited to 2 macarons. We tried the following flavors along with the sipping chocolate. Lots of tasty flavors. Yummy, in order of my favorites -Nutella -peaches and cream -Yumberry -chocolate -lemon Ok: -champagne -cookies and cream -cookie dough The atmosphere is delightfully fresh. I loved the glass chandeliers, the fresh flowers on the tables, and the white interior. I did ask the advice about the flavors, and the woman at the counter did not steer me wrong. Pricing is high, but this place is worth the treat every now and then. I'll be back!!

Yelp
If you are in the Kerrytown craving a small sweet, Le Bon Macaron is the perfect place to grab a macaron or two. You can also get a kettle full of tea here for $5 or some coffee to enjoy with your macarons! PEAR MACARON - 2.35 I only wanted one macaron and there were so many on this display that looked delectable. The pear stood out to me because of the gold printed on top of a sea foam green cookie that made it eye catching and aesthetic. It was a bit too sweet for me but definitely an enjoyable treat that satisfied my sweet cravings this afternoon. The pear flavor was very evident and enjoyable. Overall, pretty $$$ but I'd recommend giving it a try. I will definitely try more macarons next time and enjoy them with a pot of tea.

Yelp
Absolutely darling little shop! Definitely worth a quick stop if you are in downtown Ann Arbor. The space is tiny, but decorated in a delightful tea party chic kind of way. You'll get plenty of pics for your Instagram in this place! The staff was very friendly and they also do a nice job of listing out dietary restrictions for each type of macaron (Note: the majority are gluten free and the exceptions are clearly marked). The macarons themselves are generally quite good, although some flavors I think are more successful than others. The presentation of the macarons is perfect! They all look stunning. Le Bon Macaron has a TON of flavor options, although not every flavor will be available every day. Overall, I would say that the majority of their macarons are very sugary/sweet. When we went we got a variety to taste: -Matcha - you could generally taste the matcha flavor, but it was really drowned out by the intense sugary-ness of the macaron 6/10 -Raspberry - a classic. Very good! 10/10 -Mexican Chocolate - this one has cayenne pepper in it, which definitely comes through in the end. pretty good! 8/10 -Speculoos - this did not taste like speculoos remotely. This one just did not work for me 2/10 If I were to return to Le Bon Macaron, I would probably stick with the more traditional macaron flavors. Overall, glad I stopped by this place and would recommend it!

Sam P.

Yelp
They have one of the best hot chocolates I've had in the area! It was creamy and thick, but not too sweet! The inside is also super cute.

Yelp
Small cafe with a beautifully photogenic decor. The line can be a little long when people cannot decide which of the many flavors of macaron they want. Friendly and bright environment for an afternoon break with some drinks and sweets.

Yelp
10/10 macarons, 10/10 aesthetic! It's a beautiful, reasonably priced place to get coffee and macarons! The girls working are also very nice and accommodating!! I was asked a couple times just to make sure she got my coffee the way I wanted it, which I really appreciated! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Place: This place is probably the cutest place to sit down with your friend and catch up. The space is smaller so it is probably best if you go in twos. However, I have seen bridal parties take place here too. Service: The service is really good and they try to make sure you get the best price for your stay. It is more expensive so when we were going to get 2 cups of tea the employee told us getting a pot of tea would be better! Super thoughtful and nice! Extra bonus points :) Food/price: The food is sweet and delicious. It is a dessert place and more finger foods so this is post-dinner kind of place. $$ It is pretty expensive but worth once in awhile when you want to celebrate graduation or a special meet up. For example a box of macaroons (6 in a box) is $14... but still really good :)

Yelp
Finally got to stop in here when I was in Ann Arbor this weekend, I've been following them on Instagram for awhile now and everything looked so good. Macarons are $2.25 each, or $2.10 each if you buy a pack of six or more. Since I still had a few stops to make that day I decided to buy a pack of six. Creme brulee: burnt on the top like real creme brulee, but a little too burnt for me. Blueberry muffin: tasted like how it sounds. Delicious. Mexican hot chocolate: good but too cinnamon-y for me. Mimosa: tart and tasty. Black currant: more what I'm used to with macarons, and very good. Cookies and cream: also very good. The macarons are a little pricey based on the sizes, but everything was very tasty and you'll find flavors that you haven't seen anywhere else. I recommend stopping in next time you are in Ann Arbor.

Yelp
Delicious macarons! So visually pleasing and delicious. I always try to buy some whenever I'm in the area. They are quite pricey but makes great gifts for others (and yourself). I'm always in the mood for some sweets. Glad that they have a nice amount of flavors to choose from.

Yelp
Macarons are like a doily--pretty to look at, a pain to make, and they don't taste very good. I'm giving Le Bon Macaron 4 starts based completely on aesthetic, which I rarely do, but I don't want to let my personal bias towards macarons get in the way of getting a cute, perfectly designed cafe. I can picture myself meeting up with friends for a cup of hot tea during the winter, even though I wasn't infatuated with their macarons. They have a really cool location downtown, which is very clean with super nice staff. They even do the cutest little packages around the holidays with themed flavors. As far as the macarons go, they all really tasted the same to me. The sugar was overwhelming and the described flavors couldn't come through the wave of sweetness. I think this is likely just how macarons are. I mean, cupcakes are the superior sweet and they cost is better for what you get. I saw in the prior reviews that Le Bon used to have other sweets, like cream puffs. I would come to the cafe if I could find one of those in their case, but unfortunately they have limited their baked goods to macarons only.

Yelp
I was having dinner at Savas on a Friday night and wanted to check out a different place for dessert. I of course flipped open my Yelp app and checked my Ann Arbor bookmarks. I wanted dessert and my friend wanted coffee so I decided to go to Le Bon Macaron because they have both and I'm sooooo glad I did! The macaroons are $2 each and the have a lot to choose from. It was hard to make a choice because they all looked so good but I made my decision and ordered lavender, tiramisu and jasmine. The jasmine macaron was the first one I tried. It was literally one of my favorite dessert experiences in recent memory. I bit into it and was pleasantly surprised at how delicate the macaron was and then the ultimate surprise of this dessert experience came in the center filling. It was heavenly and almost had a sort of cooling sensation to it. I have not tasted a flavor like this before but I would drive the 45min from my house just to go here because it was that good. The lavender was the exact opposite and was one of the worse flavors I've had in recent memory. It tasted like lavender smells and I found out that I enjoy the smell of the flower but not the taste. The third one was the tiramisu and was very good. Not anywhere near as good as the jasmine one but still a very good macaron. I can't wait to come back here to load up on jasmine macarons and try the rest of the flavors.

Yelp
I'm a huge lover of macarons, and Le Bon Macaron definitely satisfies my cravings. It's no Ladurée, but the macarons are clearly very well made, tasty, colorful, and beautiful. Pros: - A good variety of flavors to choose from - A nice menu for drinks, including tea and coffee - Macarons can be expensive, but at $2 for each the price is very good - The aesthetic of the cafe is beautiful ~ white marble, pretty flowers, rustic brick walls - The workers are very nice Cons: - The cafe is small, so it's not the most ideal for large groups Overall: - Le Bon Macaron is the place to go if you want to get great macarons in Ann Arbor!
google avatar

Jenny C.

Yelp
Hands down the best macarons I have ever had. While I still think macarons are more for appearance than taste, the ones here really make me question how true that is. The prices are quite steep, with each one costing about $2. But the delicateness and intense flavor of each one really makes you savor each and every bite. Of note, the flavors are often a hit or miss. The great ones put you on cloud nine. The not so great ones are often too sweet and mild in flavor, not that that's always a bad thing. The drinks here are also quite good and often they have a special going on where you get a free macaron with the drink of the day. So far, I have tried the following: Raspberry creme brulee - so intensely flavorful and unique Churro - lots of cinnamon; the word "cozy" comes to mind Cake batter - tastes like childhood. A great sugar high. Cereal - sweet, but not much like cereal Creme brulee - loved the burnt sugar taste, but too sweet, even for me Nutella - good but wished it tasted more like Nutella; also too sweet Pumpkin cheesecake - mild pumpkin flavor and could use more cheeesecake flavor Champagne - mainly sweet; not sure how this tastes like champagne though Speculoos - less like speculoos and more like fruity pebbles Mirabelle - mild plum taste; pleasant but quickly becomes very sweet Cookies & cream - hint of the cookies & cream flavor, but mainly just sugary Honey lavender - straddles the line between a lovely lavender flavor and soap... aftertaste is a bit strong, but overall a fun flavor to try Cherry vanilla - too sweet. only a mild cherry flavor, if at all Raspberry rose - mostly raspberry; rose flavor is nearly undetectable Lemon blueberry - more sweet than fruity Candy cane - smells and tastes exactly like a candy cane Cranberry - reminiscent of nerds candy The space itself is also a great place to study, though there are only 3 small tables and a few seats by the window. For those who want to feel extra bougie for an afternoon, update instagram, or are simply wondering what's the big deal about macarons, this is the place for you.

Yelp
Really tasty and beautiful macaron selection. Maybe a little pricy but definitely will be buying next time in Ann Arbor. Treat yourself!

Yelp
The BEST macarons I have ever had. I am super picky when it comes to macarons (texture, filling, flavor) it's all important. They are so soft & chewy. I tried 8 different flavors while I was there and most of them were dead on to what they were named *I would not recommend getting the margarita flavored one* The place is very aesthetic and pretty. Also very clean. They girls behind the counter were nice and explained to me what types of different beverages they offered. I got the blueberry a la mode soda. It's an iced Italian flavored soda mixed w/cream & topped w/whipped cream & the Macaron of your choosing. Put this spot on your AA list, you won't regret it.

Yelp
The perfect stop for all of your macaron cravings! The flavors are so fun and creative. Pros: Lots of variety Friendly employees Sells coffee/drinks too Chic interior Cons: None really! I think they were reasonably priced and the flavors were pretty good!

Yelp
I've been a fan of the Grand Rapids Le Bon Macaron for a while now and the Ann Arbor location is just as delightful. It's so cute inside. Mostly white decor, which makes the room bright and airy. The macaron cooler is full of colorful treats in a wide variety of flavors and combinations. And the macarons are delicious. Need a pick me up? They also have a coffee bar with espresso drinks and teas, and a small retail counter full of coffee brewing accessories, greeting cards, etc. They also carry a few different scone and cream puff flavors and offer an afternoon tea service with your choice of scone, tea, cheese, and macarons. There's a small amount of seating available should you want to eat in, or they package up the treats in a beautiful bag should you choose to get them to go. At $2 a piece, the macarons are definitely a pricier "special occasion" gift/treat for a box full, but for one or two, a cup of coffee bar, a tasty scone or cream puff, it's the perfect stop while in Ann Arbor.

Yelp
Macarons are such a temperamental dessert to make, but Le Bon seems to have mastered this very challenging dessert. First, you'll be struck by their simple and elegant exterior which seems to be plucked right out of a Paris neighborhood. Inside the interior is light, airy, and elegant simplicity. Seating is a bit limited, though, and you might be sitting very close to your neighbor if you choose to linger. Several shelves of elegant and colorful macarons are displayed. Flavors range from more standard (chocolate banana) to more exotic or elaborate (they had a version of the delicious Samoa Girl Scout cookie). Pricing is $2 per macaron; they have some gift boxes which command an extra price ($1 extra for the two-macaron sized gift box). If you visit twice in the same day you might find different flavors have been put out later in the day. The texture of the macarons is truly excellent. No hollow shells here, just soft and slightly chewy interiors with wonderful flavor both in the shell and the filling. Also tried one of their blueberry Italian sodas. Truly excellent. Wonderful genuine blueberry flavor rather than a commercial flavored syrup taste. I must, sadly, remove one star for false advertising. Their website (even today) advertises cream puffs (choux à la crème) on weekends. Upon making a special trip on a Saturday to try these we were told they are no longer offered (except on "special occasions"). This was disappointing. Overall, though, this is a wonderful place to try these challenging to make indulgent bites of deliciousness.

Yelp
The macaron shell quality here is better than at TeaHaus, but the flavors at TeaHaus are better. The decor inside is super adorable. I tried four flavors (pistachio, honey lavender, matcha, Mexican chocolate) and generally the shells were good though several were hollow. However I found them too sweet/sugary and the flavors not really pronounced; they sort of all tasted very similar. My favorite was the pistachio, which was also the least sweet. The matcha flavor was really faint, and the Mexican chocolate was more sugary than chocolatey and only had a little bit of heat at the end. The honey lavender was extremely sweet and tasted mostly like honey, except for the actual pieces of lavender that felt overpowering when they appeared. The macarons here are $2 each, which is only slightly lower than TeaHaus for much smaller macarons. Overall a really great and adorable place to meet up with friends, super photogenic and practically made for Instagram. Some other reviews compared the macarons to Ladurée, but I really don't think this comparison is valid - I think the flavors here are too sugary and not that different from each other. Compared to TeaHaus though, I prefer Le Bon due to the consistent shells, larger selection, and super adorable interior.

Yelp
Macarons are having a moment, and there is no better place to give them a try than at Le Bon Macaron. I first noticed the chic and simple exterior of the building while walking in downtown Ann Arbor recently. It was evening so the place was closed, but I made a mental note to return when it was open. Several days later, on a brilliant Sunday afternoon, I got my chance! For starters, the interior of Le Bon Macaron is open, light, and airy. It is elegant and minimalist, but also inviting at the same time. There are several tables and barstools to invite you to sit a bit while you enjoy your macarons or beverages. But the case in the back with the macarons is where the real goodness is! It's a feast for the eyes as you look at the colorful and beautifully-displayed macarons, and it only looks more delicious as you read the titles on the flavors: lavender and honey, creme brulee, salted caramel, margarita, lemon poppy -- it's enough to make you swoon! I finished my inaugural visit with a box of 6 macarons, and they were every bit as delicious as I hoped that they would be. My next visit to Ann Arbor will definitely include a visit to Le Bon Macaron, and yours should as well!

Yelp
This cafe is the very definition of cute. Everything is dainty, from the signature macarons, to the plates upon which they are served, to the glasses of water. The clean white tones of the shop are the perfect backdrop for all your insta fantasies. And little touches like small vases of pink and white flowers on the table, complete the look. While I may be a large man, I have to confess a love for little treats. And here, Le Bon Macaron delivers. Now that the fall season is finally here, sipping chocolate is back on the menu. For those who don't know, this is like drinking a molten chocolate bar. Luckily, this decadent drink is served in a demitasse cup and saucer. There are even house made marshmallows, perfectly shaped to float on top and melt into the hot ganache. I only wish that they had matching demitasse spoons to match. Mon Dieu. Still, for three bucks, I'd rather have one of these shots of chocolate than almost any espresso. Not only will it perk you up, but it will make you happier than you ever thought possible. Still, the success of a macaron shop depends on the quality and perfection of its signature confection. And what is a macaron if not the embodiment of the pursuit of perfection. Over the past few weeks I've tried a small handful of these little sandwich cookies, and they have been hit or miss. From a flavor perspective, the vanilla and rose have been the standouts. The flavors of raspberry rose were a little muddy, the jasmine didn't read "jasmine" on the palate, and the nougat tasted only of coconut extract. But macarons are also all about texture. I do wish the display case kept the macarons a little bit warmer, because the temperature at which they are served is too cold. Those who can wait at least ten minutes will benefit from a much crisper exterior shell, and a better balance of textures overall. The vanilla shells spent a little too much time in the oven and caught more color than they should have from the heat. And the rose shells were not only smaller than the Le Bon Macaron standard, but were also lacking their feet. Plus, there are other macarons in the case with lumpy shells, presumably from almond flour that wasn't thoroughly sifted before being added into the mixer. These are nits to be sure. Will they prevent us from going back? Not at all. Nor do they decrease my daughter's enjoyment for these cute treats. But I do expect a little better from a place that specializes in these admittedly finicky morsels.

Yelp
An ideally 'sweet' spot for a cup of tea with a friend or a quite afternoon sipping an espresso with yourself. You'll see these petite, crunchy and chewy, delights priced at $2 a macaron (mack-a-ron), a fairly reasonable sugary price. Watch for specials. I'm more of a purist and was disappointed that my go-to-vanilla was missing from the display case. The marble table tops were a perfect backdrop for my insta photos :)

Yelp
This is a really cute and dainty macaron and coffee/tea shop. They have a wide range of different flavors and colors of macarons. Lately, I've been digging their cranberry macaron and adore the cute streaks of edible gold paint adorning the top. The interior is beautiful and aesthetic. Great for photos. The shop is a little small and can get crowded at times, but they do offer to go cups and cute packages to put your macarons in to snack on later. These macarons also make great gifts. Love this little shop, definitely recommend giving this place a visit!

Yelp
Every macaron was incredible. The chocolate maud and lattes are fantastic. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Earlier this week I was walking around Ann Arbor and Le Bon Macaron caught my eye. I check out local spots on Instagram daily, so I've been wondering where I could find these beautiful macarons. As soon as I saw the sign I made an instant detour and stopped in. The decor and ambiance of the shop was very modern and quite lovely. The vibrant and colorful cookies immediately drew my attention to the case and I was instantly eager to place an order. I tried the lemon poppyseed, churro, cosmic brownie, margarita, blueberry muffin and one more I can't remember Everything was phenomenal, I honestly couldn't believe how delicious each flavor really is. I didn't have a favorite, because they were all so tasty, but the churro really stood out. Each macaron was had a softer cookie and creamy filling than most I've ever eaten. If you like macarons you must try them asap, if you don't I highly recommend trying them... they might change your mind!!!

Yelp
The best macarons in Michigan! I walked in here randomly while I was searching for another place nearby. I was plesantly surprised. The interior is so cute and the girls working there were so sweet! They were extremely helpful and patient with my indecisiveness. In fact, one of the girls got pistachio out from the freezer for me! I can't wait to return and purchase more macarons! I was craving them yesterday, but they had already closed. I wish they stayed open a little bit later, until about 7 or 8. Overall, I think these are the best macarons I have tried in Michigan. They have so many different flavors and all of them are so good. My favorites were probably the pistachio and the unicorn. It's really hard to choose a favorite because they were all so good. They were the perfect texture and amount of flavor. I loved them all! I kind of wish I hated them because I'm sure I consume a lot of calories when eating them. The packaging is also really cute. I just love this place, that's all I can say!

Yelp
I've traveled to France numerous times and fell in love with authentic macarons (Especially from Ladurée) and I've have tried so many places in the USA for a good Macarons and was always friggin disappointed but Le Bon Macaron is the first place I can legit say has theeee BEST TASTING MACARONS IN THE USA (aside from French companies like Ladurée that have locations in USA). The ambience in Le Bon Macaron is also beautiful and I'm in love! I will be driving to Ann Arbor every weekend for their macarons!

Yelp
First visit to this cute little shop with some girlfriends and it was so great! The lemon blueberry scone was delicious and the big pot of tea was definitely worth the $5- stay hydrated friends! The sipping chocolate was a definite 10/10 with my friend. We will be back again! Very charming decor and a nice place to study or meet up with friends.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the macarons! I ordered 5; however wished I had ordered more. I had fruity pebble, birthday cake, strawberry margarita, one with ginger and the last flavor I can't recall as they are all very unique!! They were amazing!! Pillow soft cookies and the perfect amount of filling. The flavors were strong and delicious. The shop was very cute and charming. I look forward to many visits as macarons are one of my guilty pleasures! Still amazing!!

Yelp
I have never had a macaron I liked. My friend who loves them insisted we go, so I tried on and ended up buying a box of 6. That's only becomes I was visiting from out of town, otherwise I would have purchased a larger quantity. These macarons are perfection. I know the prices seem steep but macarons are not easy to make. I tried: creme brûlée (my fav), chocolate strawberry, fresh plum, salted caramel. The shop is super cute and a great place to sit down and enjoy a few (or more) macarons.

Yelp
At $2 a macaron, they better be decent! To be honest I didn't have the highest hopes going in, as AA restaurants typically have a lot to be desired. However, I got drawn in by their $4 coffee + 1 macaron deal and that's how I ended up there! The outlay is white and crisp and clean; it's small, but is a pleasant place to get work done. The cold brew was delicious and was strong (exactly what I needed). I ended up getting the sea salt caramel macaron and that was incredible; it was small but rich and exploded with flavor. Clearly they know what they're doing; going to be the spot I go to when I need to curb my sugar craving!

Yelp
Goods Who would have guessed there is a frou-frou macaron boutique in Ann Arbor Michigan? And yet this one takes the "cake" or macaron for that matter. I have made it a point to try macarons every chance I get at various stores and these were among some of the best. I evaluate based on appearance, texture, and balance of flavor. These were beautifully designed. Each one is unique with gold leaf, paint, color swirls, and other sprinkles to subtly signify or hint at what the flavor will be. My ideal macaron is lightly crisp on the exterior without having to bite down then give way to a very moist and fluffy interior. This all leads up to the burst of flavor. Here these do just that and the flavors are as advertised but without being obvious. I was sad when leaving Ann Arbor since I felt I wouldn't be able to get them again. I enjoyed the blueberry Italian cream soda. It has a blueberry syrup like flavor and topped with a macaron of your choice from their window. Only problem was that it was such a small cup. When I first researched this macaron store, I noticed that they offered cream puffs on weekends only. For this reason, we went on a Saturday. When we arrived, I was told that they are now only available on special occasions or for special orders/large orders. This was very disappointing and when looking at the website it still states available on sat/sun. Ambiance Just beautiful. I love the bright white and clean interior. They display the teas in glass vials on a rotating stand and I loved this little detail. Clear simple vases of flowers at every table. Seating is a bit limited and close quarters, but given the area I suppose they worked with what they were given. If I had a bakery, I'd want it to be similar to the ambiance here. Service I loved macarons so much, we went TWICE. First time we got a dozen macarons and for the shopping bag it was a plastic grocery bag...very disappointing. Second time we just got a 6 pc box and the employee there provided a BEAUTIFUL white shopping bag with the branding in silver lettering. I pointed this out and she stated "yeah, those grocery bags are UGLY..." It left a slightly sad taste for me just thinking that maybe they are encouraged to save the bags even if you make a proper purchase. MoJo Anything you order here will be delicious if you love fancy macarons. Try every flavor because none of them disappoint.

Yelp
I've been meaning to check this place out for some time now. Lucky last week I accidentally parked right in front of it on my way to breakfast. I was so amazed when I walked in, I could literally live there! It actually looks like something I would design. The girls were so kind and helpful to me. I ordered the cinnamon/honey latte, it has another name but I can't remember it. It was honestly the best iced latte I have had in my entire life! I grabbed 6 macarons to try: Jasmine, Cookie Monster, French Plum, Orange, Pistachio, and Samoa. The Jasmine stole the show and was by far my favorite of the bunch! I've been looking for excuses to go back all week! Definitely my new go-to and will be on my blog soon!

Yelp
Latte = $4 Alt Milk = $1 Flavor (vanilla) = $1 $6 is fairly expensive for a small latte. I forewent the extras. The latte was good, but not uniquely good (as in I need to come here only). There isn't a ton of seating here. I love that the counter tops are slate with white cabinets. This is my dream kitchen color scheme. Aside from the three round tables lined up in front of the bench, the other seating options aren't the most comfortable. Also, it's freezing cold here, as opening the door brings in a gust of wind that makes it difficult to study at the coffee shop for any length of time. I can definitely feel that they're running the heater though, just wish that door was in a different location.

Yelp
Strong, jammy flavors. They're plenty moist (I'm always disappointed in dry macarons), but they lay the flavor on heavier than I usually find in France. I'm a little put off by the metallic paint on many of the flavors --- I actively avoided those. A few poppyseeds or some swirled colors are fine, but silver and gold don't look appetizing to me. The chocolate and hazelnut were reasonable, and chocolate-raspberry was nice --- but some of the fruit flavors were just too Smuckers for my taste. Tasty and moist, but a little lacking in refinement.

Yelp
Unbelievably excited when I found out that le bon finally decided to open a location in Ann Arbor. I've always gotten my macaron fix from them in East Lansing but now they're only a 10 minute drive away from me! Le bon probably has the best macarons to offer in Michigan. They have unique flavors like fruity pebble, champagne, etc and it's always changing depending on the month! Something new I tried was the Italian creme soda and it was refreshingly delicious! It's a cute space with a very instagramable aesthetics and worth a visit! Definitely my new study spot! Ps: there's a parking garage right around the corner!
