Le Bonheur dans le Pré

We are a family of 4 who drove to this destination. About 45 to 60 min from Geneva airport. We arrived at 3.30pm. We were told the check-in time was 4pm. Very regimental we thought. Although not actually unfriendly, the lady seemed so. Just very direct, felt a bit uncomfortable. We asked if there were any nice places around and she said 'yes'. And then I asked if she could give us a bit more information. The evening dinner here is apparently a 'sell out'. We didn't realise that and I think that was our mistake. So, we ended up getting a pizza take away instead. Breakfast was decent and they were happy to make us omelettes as well. Not a huge spread, but definitely healthy. The gentleman gave us some info about the nearby Lake Leman. Worth a short drive up. The rooms sadly had no kettle, so we could not make tea or coffee and had to ask them every time. We had a very pleasant dinner in a lovely setting. Good sélection of wines and honest prices. We will be back.

Wonderful cooking with real local food. Menu is changing every day and always very creative Well done and highly recommended

If you're in the area, make sure that you schedule a visit to this restaurant. And book in advance. The couple who run the place are charming and attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience. We selected a local wine from the cave (which is also worth a stroll) and enjoyed the fact that the small amount of tables allow the hosts to chat a bit with everyone there. Highly recommended.

We spent a weekend in this Hotel. Lovely and very professional people. Very clean and cosy rooms. Wonderful mountain view. We made a nice walk through the forest. We will come back again for sure😀

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a friend's retirement. The chef is super friendly and knows the regions wines! The hostess as well is very pleasant and helpful, and the location at sunset is stunning. My only criticism is that the food is somewhat ordinary, but they change their offerings regularly so perhaps we just hit an off night.

We had an overnight stay here. Nice place with a great view. Rooms are not to spacious, but otherwise nice and authentic. Unfortunately their dining was fully booked on the day we went there, but the breakfast in the recently updated room was great; fresh and local!
