Le Botaniste Penn Plaza

I love this place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s cute, the ambiance is lovely and the food is delicious. This is such a unique place. I decided to give it a try and ended up going back 3 times/days in a row. It’s so flavorful and I love knowing everything is healthy and made with clean vegan food. My go to is the coconut curry and the coconut ceviche. The broccoli soup was surprisingly really good too but really can’t go wrong here .

We visited La Botaniste on a late Friday night, and we couldn’t be more impressed! Patrick took great care of us — he was super patient, answered all our questions, and even offered us some samples to try. His friendly and kind demeanor made this quite the experience! As for the food, it was delicious! Everything was incredibly fresh, and you could really taste the high-quality ingredients. The only negative I’d mention is that everything was a bit more salty than I prefer, which I’ve found to be common with plant-based restaurants. However, it was still tasty, and we left feeling full and satisfied. Even my boyfriend, who’s not vegan, was really delighted! If you're looking for a quick, satisfying, and affordable meal, I would definitely recommend La Botaniste. It's conveniently located just a few steps away from Penn Station, and they also have a few other locations throughout NYC. The atmosphere is chic and cozy, with plenty of seating. The service is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. Add in some chill music, and you've got a great vibe all around. Definitely a place to check out!

Wow this place is AMAZING. we had the Mediterranean pasta with ratatouille and the Asian noodle bowl. Out of this world delicious. 100% organic and plant based. Thank you to Trissie for the amazing explanations of the menu and both you and Vanity for the great energy. I sampled the chili sin carne and OH BOY so good too. See you again soon.

Such a lovely spot! Great ambiance! Amazing options...especially for lunches w my non-dairy, pescatarian friend! A little pricey, but guilt free eating is worth it! 😉

Was walking towards Penn station and wanted to take a quick lunch . Had very less time to catch the train and thought of trying Le Botanise ,.. their menu seemed interesting and as a vegetarian myself, I wanted to try their food . Superb locarion . Very close to Penn station . 🚉 very nice interiors and lots of tables inside to sit and dine . Service was really good . Was browsing menu and tried spicy chili sin carne .. chili looked really good and fresh . She served a bowl and added brown rice , chili , some beans , turmeric onion … it looked really awesome .. chili tasted so good . And a little hot . Brown rice was actually dry and wish it was hot and soft . Just ate everything else except the rice . I will still give them a 4 star for their approach to sell plant based food . Very few places like these and wish we see more restaurants like this … loved their cookies ! So fresh and crispy . good experience overall .. 4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Seriously loved my colorful, fresh Botanical Salad today—thank you, MealPal! Le Botaniste mixes creamy avocado, crispy veggies, tangy sauerkraut, and those crunchy cashews together like magic. Perfect pick for a bright vegetarian lunch!

I tried the vegan chocolate raw cake and it was soooo good!! 6$ is still a good price and the service was great, super friendly staff

Terrific place which seems to be rarely crowded. The vegan and vegetarian options are terrific and the flavors are so satisfying even for people who are not vegetarian or vegan. Friendly staff that was very communicative. Six stars if I could.

*** 4.5 stars *** This is what the Penn Station area needs! It is a desert of healthy or exciting food options, with most people who work in the area rotating between sweet green, Naya and fresh & easy, all of which I'd say are just passable lunch options. The food here is clean, healthy, and yes vegan, but I'm a meat lover and don't miss the meat at all in their dishes, which are flavorful and fulfilling. They opened today and the workers are all patient and kind, letting us sample a few different things and even giving us a coupon for a free cookie. I got the chili which was fabulous, with a nice spice and great flavor. Will be back.. a lot.

Found this place while walking in Midtown. Great fresh vegan food. Very good service. Lovely lady at the front gave great recommendations and offered samples. Loved the Mediterranean Pasta.

We stopped here on our way to the train station. The food was really fantastic (had the pasta bolognese) and the service was quick and friendly.

Amazing food, incredible customer service, and comfortable atmosphere that could serve as a great place for lunch, a date, or a place to study and work on a project. I got the Tibetan Mama and an americano and both were amazing and I left feeling refreshed and satisfied and will definitely be coming back.
