Le Botaniste Penn Plaza

I love this place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s cute, the ambiance is lovely and the food is delicious. This is such a unique place. I decided to give it a try and ended up going back 3 times/days in a row. It’s so flavorful and I love knowing everything is healthy and made with clean vegan food. My go to is the coconut curry and the coconut ceviche. The broccoli soup was surprisingly really good too but really can’t go wrong here .

My favorite plant based restaurant, haven't met a dish i didn't love... staff was very kind and knowledgeable, prices very reasonable, quality and taste supreme. Same exceptional experience in different locations too. Highly recommend for vegan and carnivores alike!

We visited La Botaniste on a late Friday night, and we couldn’t be more impressed! Patrick took great care of us — he was super patient, answered all our questions, and even offered us some samples to try. His friendly and kind demeanor made this quite the experience! As for the food, it was delicious! Everything was incredibly fresh, and you could really taste the high-quality ingredients. The only negative I’d mention is that everything was a bit more salty than I prefer, which I’ve found to be common with plant-based restaurants. However, it was still tasty, and we left feeling full and satisfied. Even my boyfriend, who’s not vegan, was really delighted! If you're looking for a quick, satisfying, and affordable meal, I would definitely recommend La Botaniste. It's conveniently located just a few steps away from Penn Station, and they also have a few other locations throughout NYC. The atmosphere is chic and cozy, with plenty of seating. The service is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. Add in some chill music, and you've got a great vibe all around. Definitely a place to check out!

Nice spot for a delicious casual meal with the option to sit down and enjoy. The food was super flavorful and affordable. I had the Chef Priyanka bowl with samosa balls and a carrot-ginger juice.

Love! Le Botaniste. The atmosphere is warms and homey, the food is delicious and clean. Paired with the best house made drinks and desserts. I highly recommend. While dining I had the pleasure of being serviced by Richard, he was a great help when deciding exactly what I should try from the restaurant. He was friendly and professional, bubbly with a charismatic personal. All in all he was the cherry on top of what already was a wonderful experience. I rate a Le Botaniste a 10 out of 10. 😊

Wow this place is AMAZING. we had the Mediterranean pasta with ratatouille and the Asian noodle bowl. Out of this world delicious. 100% organic and plant based. Thank you to Trissie for the amazing explanations of the menu and both you and Vanity for the great energy. I sampled the chili sin carne and OH BOY so good too. See you again soon.

We enjoyed yummy healthy food in a Christmassy music atmosphere, served by nice folks like Richard :).

Tried for the first time today. Ordered the tomato soup and the Mezze assortment spread. The tomato soup is probably the best I've ever had. The speard was fresh and perfect. The crackers with the spears were just perfect as well. Place was clean and the the two staff I interacted with were polite and professional. The female who prepared my order and rang me up had the nicest, friendliest smile. Looking forward to food from here again

The ambience was nice enough but we did take out so didn't really soak in the ambience. The service was courteous enough and staff was kind enough to not charge us for an item due to a perceived error. There were some hits and some misses with the food. Overall the food was somewhat bland and lacked distinctive flavors one associated with native non-vegan versions of the foods. I'd give this place 2.5 stars but since half stars can't be given, giving it 3 stars. The place may be worth visiting once for the experience but prolly there are other better vegan joints

One of my favorite lunch spots in nyc! The food is so fresh and healthy, plus the service is always 10/10. They have a lot of fun plant based options, but I love the DIY bowls. I like to order online for pickup, which is convenient because it's typically ready for me by the time I walk over. Highly recommend! Much better than any of the other fast food spots around the area.

Was walking towards Penn station and wanted to take a quick lunch . Had very less time to catch the train and thought of trying Le Botanise ,.. their menu seemed interesting and as a vegetarian myself, I wanted to try their food . Superb locarion . Very close to Penn station . very nice interiors and lots of tables inside to sit and dine . Service was really good . Was browsing menu and tried spicy chili sin carne .. chili looked really good and fresh . She served a bowl and added brown rice , chili , some beans , turmeric onion ... it looked really awesome .. chili tasted so good . And a little hot . Brown rice was actually dry and wish it was hot and soft . Just ate everything else except the rice . I will still give them a 4 star for their approach to sell plant based food . Very few places like these and wish we see more restaurants like this ... loved their cookies ! So fresh and crispy . good experience overall .. 4 stars

*** 4.5 stars *** This is what the Penn Station area needs! It is a desert of healthy or exciting food options, with most people who work in the area rotating between sweet green, Naya and fresh & easy, all of which I'd say are just passable lunch options. The food here is clean, healthy, and yes vegan, but I'm a meat lover and don't miss the meat at all in their dishes, which are flavorful and fulfilling. They opened today and the workers are all patient and kind, letting us sample a few different things and even giving us a coupon for a free cookie. I got the chili which was fabulous, with a nice spice and great flavor. Will be back.. a lot.

Found this place while walking in Midtown. Great fresh vegan food. Very good service. Lovely lady at the front gave great recommendations and offered samples. Loved the Mediterranean Pasta.

We stopped here on our way to the train station. The food was really fantastic (had the pasta bolognese) and the service was quick and friendly.

Amazing food, incredible customer service, and comfortable atmosphere that could serve as a great place for lunch, a date, or a place to study and work on a project. I got the Tibetan Mama and an americano and both were amazing and I left feeling refreshed and satisfied and will definitely be coming back.
