"An opportunity to discover the work of a likeable, self-effacing chef, who is as modest as his food is good. Seasonal ingredients and premium produce feature prominently in his dishes: duck breast cooked rare with prunes and orange, einkorn risotto. It's tasty, flawlessly crafted and delicious! In fine weather, you can sit out on the pretty terrace in the garden to the rear." - Michelin Inspector

Absolutely wonderful place! The food was superb! We shared escargot, frog legs and bouillabaisse - everything was amazing. The waiter is attentive and provides great recommendations ( he even proactively had our bouillabaisse split into two bowls without us asking). The lemon meringue dessert was delicious. The atmosphere is very nice with a cozy covered patio, as well as a few tables outside. Overall, we had a wonderful evening.

The best meal we had in Aix! Service was amazing, ambiance was great. Every bite of food was outstanding. We loved the escargot, frog legs, and fish. Dessert was delicious too! Highly recommend dinning here.

Cezanne Menu hits the spot for a superb taste of Provence. The Rosé cocktail Is super refreshing too. Make sure to reserve ahead to avoid disappointment.

Best dinner in Aix. The waitress lady is very friendly and explains everything in English fluently. We had the frog legs and foie gras for starters, and their special roasted prawn risotto and the octopus for main. Worth every penny. Do make a reservation in advance!

So glad we found this wonderful gem in Aix! The food was delicious and they catered well for kids too. Highly recommend the frog legs and bouillabaisse. Such warm hospitality from Chef Romain & team and can’t wait to return on our next visit.

We went there for lunch which was absolutely the right decision. Not too many people. The dry aged Argentinian eye of round was a perfection, well seared with the funk from the dry aging process, served alongside mashed potato with truffles. Other friends of mine had the plat du jour which was salmon tartare on top of risotto rice. It was beautifully done with vibrant fragrance, bright flavor and light texture! The octopus tentacle with baba ghanoush was also excellent. Perfectly cooked octopus but still retaining the crunchy texture and very well spiced baba ghanoush. The local wine I had with the beef was perfect. Definitely will be back next time I visit Aix.

Amazing food! The snails and daily specials are amazing - so flavorful and heart-warming. A perfect spot to sip rose under the sun. ☀️

My rating is for casual dining. I have been twice, so far and will come again. I recommend this pleasant restaurant in a nice location. It is beautiful sitting at an outside table. Service is enthusiastic and professional. Food is wonderful and prepared skillfully with fresh ingredients. The menu is compact but there is a special dish offered each day. On one visit I had the special of the day, ris de veau, which was excellent. I have been wanting to try this for a while and enjoyed the dish. The mixture of fresh vegetables was clever. On another visit I had lamb cooked in a filo crust. Wonderful lamb and delicious overall. I added additional photos from another visit, this time for dinner. You can see the cod and the shrimp risotto as well as appetizers. Fantastic food yet again.

Yelp
My husband and I agree: stumbling upon this place with our kids after a visit to the market in Aix was one of the happiest accidents of our life. We rate our lunch in the top 5 we have ever enjoyed, up there with meals in Florence, sushi in Maui, and so on. The waiter who greeted us viewed our kids, ages 9 and 12, skeptically and noted he lacked a children's menu. Nevertheless, I assured him we would be fine- our 12 year old loves escargot and I was certain we would find chicken to satisfy my daughter. Boy were we right! We started with those escargot, frogs legs, and a terrine. The frogs legs were extraordinarily tender and flavorful. The sauce around them was best eaten with a spoon. The house rose was a perfect match and on we went to some of the most perfect cod in pistou, a perfect roasted chicken with a salty (we loved it) sauce and mashed potatoes to dream about, and a quenelle I cannot describe because it seemed like Yorkshire pudding of a sort but the most amazing version I've ever encountered. We couldn't stop smiling. The waiter grew happier and danced around to some Motown, and by the end the chef came out and accepted our applause! For one in France, the bill felt like a steal too. I cannot believe we walked right in without a reservation at 1 pm on a Thursday. They deserve a Michelin star, and it's worth whatever you must do to get there. #blessed

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch and had the escargots and special of the of the day which was a sausage with mashed potatoes. The people that joined me had the quenelles and dessert. Everything was delicious! A true gem with delicious genuine french food!
