First, it has to be said that we are ambiance people more than we are foodies. The atmosphere in this restaurant and the price of the food are very mismatched. The decor is lackluster; the green paint is cold, the black tables and chairs are drab. The lighting is too bright. It's the kind of interior you'd expect from a restaurant that offers steak frites for 18 Euros, not 40 Euros dishes. The food was very good, there's no doubt about it, and the service was friendly.
3 simple things would really help improve the ambiance, if the restaurant is reading:
1. White table cloths
2. Dim the hanging lights way down and put small yellow lights or candles on the tables
3. Turn off the music, or improve your sound system and play soft jazz or piano music
