Cosy place, it’s a bit packed but not an issue. Staff is friendly and swift. We went for the menu which was a good deal. The food was good, tasty and came quick. The experience could be a bit more lengthened as the dishes came in rapid succession.

Absolutely wonderful. Lovely french cuisine. Small but perfect menu that offered a superb choice. The food was absolutely delicious and we couldn't fault a thing. Great selection of wine. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it if you would like to try out a great, classic local bistro.

Opting for the menu, I indulged in a culinary adventure that started with snails and beef in a delectable green sauce. It was my first time trying snails, and the experience was truly worthwhile. The main course featured juicy and tender pork accompanied by a velvety celery puree, while the cherry clafoutis with ice cream provided a delightful finale. The wine selection, particularly the sweet Jurançon wine, added a pleasant surprise to the evening. This memorable dinner, surpassing a week of excellent French cuisine, was complemented by the restaurant's charming ambiance. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Le Bouchon de Vaugueux for an exceptional dining experience.

I had a really delicious dinner in this charming family-run restaurant. Food was excellent - fresh ingredients bursting with flavour. Highly recommend the snail risotto, beef carpaccio and beef tartare. Staff was cheerful and friendly.
