I randomly walked by Grillify and for some reason I was drawn in. I am so glad I was! If you like a burger, you will love the burgers here. I had the Black Garlic burger which came on a pretzel bun. Wow, it was cooked so perfectly (rare- to medium rare.). The burger flavor itself was so tasty and the black garlic sauce (made in house as are all of their sauces) was delicious but not overpowering. The bottom of the bun held up to the meat juices so the second half of the burger was as good as the first. The burger came with fries which were fresh, crispy and also had great flavor. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend you stop in and be prepared for a delicious experience! The picture is of a different burger when I went back a second time….the very next time I was in NYC. Place is consistently great.

Google
Great spot for a hand made to order burger and fries. I ordered a medium-well, avocado and Bacon Burger and I was not disappointed. This spot is a hidden gem and they have a lunch time special. Definitely going back for another burger and fries. Pretzel bun was a beautiful touch and was a pleasant surprise

Google
Low key spot in east village serving one of the best burgers in the city. The burgers are cooked fresh, straight from the grill to your table. Juicy patties, buttered buns, absolute perfection. The fries were so good too. Glad my cousin asked to come here. Definitely a great find in the neighborhood

Perfect little burger joint! The cook knows what he's doing to say the least. Burger was perfect in just about every way. The bartender was the best. Can't recommend more if you want a straightforward properly made burger with great service

Juicy, fresh ingredients with a beef patty of dreams (no grizzle!!). The bun was a pretzel bun that was soft and lightly toasted to perfection. Our server Lewis was super friendly. Can highly recommend this for the BEST burger in NYC.

I enjoy the small and quiet spots in the city. The fact that this place had a full bar was a plus for me. Didn't know what to expect going in, but I left a fan. The burgers are cooked within sight of the patrons and it's well ventilated so that you're not hindered by the cooking/smoke etc. Server was amazing, served the whole restaurant and bar by himself. Will return the next time I'm in the area.

Perfect local burger bar. Classic Burger was fresh, juicy and delicious. Fries were hot and crispy! And nice to have a full bar too.

Google
Nice place with food and a bar. Great burgers with thick meat, locally sourced, on a pretzel bun so not soggy with all the veggies. And cooked to order. The fries were cooked perfectly crispy. Didn't try the truffle fries but probably should have. This is a family run newish business, the chef was an executive chef uptown, and they really worked at putting together a great menu. All of their sauces (except the ketchup) are home made. Tried the black garlic sauce - phenomenal. This probably seems like a review from an insider but we just asked lots of questions since it was so good. Going back to try the TexMex burger next and will go here every time I come to NYC.

Yelp
We got takeout from here on a friday night. The buffalo wings had a nice kick to them! Loved the jalapeño burger. The pretzel bun is sooooo good. The staff was also super kind. We'll be returning!
