Le Bus Cafe

The name of current cafe is called La COLOMBE not Le Bus cafe. But when submited to Google it still says its correct eventhough name on the sign different. This is in airport terminal. Staff was friendly. Price of coffee was reasonable for airport. Did not try any food or specialty drinks.

Very slow service- remarkably so despite the simplicity of the early AM orders(just coffee and pastry mostly). I got drip coffee and it was fine. Pastry wasn’t what I was hoping for but was clearly fresh and good quality. I wouldn’t come back but like others mentioned there aren’t other options readily available. The workers were friendly.

The cashier was left alone while the other 3 employees took off. The cashier was very polite and apologetic of the service delay. I ordered the Italian which I couldn't eat anymore after 3 bites. $12 wasted. Coffee was good. She deserves a reward. The store could use some deep cleaning. Management should really get involved.

The cafe was clean. The gentleman who served me polite. (David)The line was a bit long with a combination of sandwich customers and just coffee customers. With only two employees it took an extraordinary amount of time to just get a cup of coffee and I watched customers get frustrated and leave in a huff. David had a smart suggestion: create a “coffee only” line in between the sandwich making at peak hours. That would be a good business practice. My sandwich was hot, fresh and delicious. I predict David will be a manager sooner than later for his customer service skills. Thanks for the yummy meal.

Hard to believe LeBus has such a disgusting place. 9 am no pastries at all left, coffee ( and I drink Le Colombe all the time) undrinkable, gas station like, weak with a burnt taste. The most unappealing dirty displays which are pretty much empty but what’s on display unappetizing. Service without any hello, let alone smile by unkempt men with beard and hairs preparing food. If I could give zero stars I would. If I had to describe it I’d say gross. Next time I am in this terminal I won’t make that mistake

Today the two ladies at the cash register tried to sell me eggs that were 4$ for a fruit salad that was 6$. After telling them their mistakes, they replied that it was the same price for both. I told them that it wasn't since I could clearly see the price on my package. They were a bit rude but the guy making the coffee is a sweetheart and was clearly more awake than those two lost girls or maybe they were just lazy .

I’ve waited all night (due to a missed connection) for them to open at 5:30 am. They didn’t open until 6:00 am and started counting their tills. Never said , please give me a minute or that they were running late.. Then the rude cashier snapped “what do you want” ? After handing me my coffee, I asked where my danish was and she snapped , it will be on the other side... How was I supposed to know??? There were also 2 airport employees behind me and one of them went to the other side of counter out of our earshot and gave their orders ahead of time, before she waited on the customers in line. Then came back and took my order. Very rude , and no communication skills. Shame on the management for hiring people with no customer service or social skills!! I’ll never go back! Very rude!!! Thanks for starting my morning out crappy!

I urge you, my dear friend, to set your path away from this establishment, just as a river avoids a rocky crag. Let your search for sustenance lead you elsewhere, to places more deserving of your time and hard-earned resources. For what is served here is not just food and coffee that lack soul, warmth, and the pleasing dance of flavors, but a disheartening symbol of culinary neglect. Each dish, rather than being a melody of ingredients, is but a discordant note in a symphony of taste. The coffee, instead of being an invigorating jolt to the senses, lacks the essence and depth of what this magical brew should rightfully offer. All this, coupled with the sting of unjustifiably high prices, simply gnaws at the very heart of what dining should be - a joyous communion with our senses. Let your appetite and love for good food guide you to corners more befitting. This place, sadly, is not one where your palate should have to endure or your pocket should have to bear.

You have to be a special breed of masochist to buy a croissant in an airport terminal and expect a pleasant surprise. But sometimes, a long layover will do just that to you... It will fill your head with nonsensical thoughts that eventually drive you insane. Sort of like a cricket infected by a hairworm. You don't know what I'm talking about? Well, hairworms are parasites that infect crickets. Researchers at the CNRS in France found out that the hairworms secrete mind-controlling chemicals that cause the cricket host to go towards light. The cricket then jumps into a body of water, because of the moonlight reflection on the surface, and subsequently DROWNS. The hairworms then get out of the cricket, chill around, and reproduce. Anyway, you get the idea... I am the cricket here... - LOOKS (1/5): The croissant is not even trying. It looks like it survived a nuclear holocaust. As a matter of fact, I am sure it would make a Geiger counter beep, had I brought one with me... If this croissant could smirk at me, believe me it would. If it could talk, it would say "poor little cricket Nathan! You hungry, boy? Why don't you have a BITE!" And then it would laugh histerically at my face while I gag on it. - TASTE (1/5): The outside layer is dreadful enough that I still wonder to this day why I even bothered to explore the inside of that thing. What can I say... The pictures say it all: this monstrosity is drier than Aleppo after a US intervention. They might as well have filled my pastry with dry sand. C'est la vie... - REGRETS (5/5): This café calls itself Le Bus. Named after a bakery or something... Le Bus... What kind of French nonsense is that!? Le Bus literally means "The Bus". This is Tarantino levels of comical: what do they call a Big Mac in France? LE Big Mac. Yes, Le Bus is literally the worst name for a pastry café. Maybe it was a sign all along that the croissant quality would match the name of this fine establishment. Well, I'm throwing this croissant under Le Bus! Hahahaha, get it? Under LE BUS!! Hahahaha! Haha... haha...... ha............ - VERDICT: Le fml

Don't waste your money! If there was less than a one star rating I would give it to them. The only thing good was the coffee. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant...run away! Ice cold eggs, soggy bacon and understaffed. Couldn't even eat the croissant. Awful.

I stopped here because the line at Starbucks was long, and I noticed that they use la Colombe coffee - which I love. First off, they got the orders confused/wrong - they had one ticket for my drink and I guess someone else got the same thing and they were confused. Regardless. They had to give mine to the other guy and then make me a new one. They were nice enormously he about it though. They use the la marzocco machine too. So it all comes down to the barista at this point. She had the tools lol. It was ok. Not as good as when you get it from la Colombe in the city. Much more bitter.

Awful. The coffee is burnt, really scorched -- tasted awful. I normally drink my coffee black but had to put two packets of sugar and cream in it. Service was even worse. I got there at the same time as this man and his child; he was served first, which is fine. We got there simultaneously (from opposite ends). I had to wait for some time. The man's order was more complex than usual as one item was off the menu (which first worker kindly made for him and told him he'll charge him at the cheapest rate). But after awhile another woman shows up and the second worker (who was idling while I was waiting in line) started to serve her! Now it was very quiet at the time. It wasn't a big confusing rush. Is it because these other customers are white (I am not)? Sadly, both workers were also people of color. Second worker is just like standing around when I was waiting, but leaps to attention when white woman shows up.

I'm pretty sure this coffee shop compromised my credit card (as myself and two colleagues had our cards compromised at the same time and the only place we all used our cards was here). The cashier swiped the card up and down. Visa says whoever stole it had a card stealing mechanism they ran the card through. Beware of this store. If you must shop here only pay in cash. Better yet - avoid.

This is pretty much the ONLY coffee shop in the Philly airport--- there is no Starbucks. (wut?)-- well there is a Dunkin Donuts, but if you want a latte or espresso this is pretty much your option in the US Air terminal. That said I have never gotten a good drink at this location.... everything is super rushed (probably due to the fact that its the only place to get coffee drinks), and poorly assembled. My latest visit I ordered a triple latte, and saw my drink made... 2 shots. I second guessed the barista when he went to hand me my drink and insisted that it had 3 shots, not 2. It was 7am and I wasn't in the mood to argue, so I just took my drink and went to catch my flight. I will probably be back, since its the only place to grab a coffee drink in the USAir Terminal... but if provided with another alternative, I'd probably go there. I like smaller independant coffee shops that arent Starbucks... but one thing you get with Starbucks, is consistency this place is inconsistent.

They took our order, but they never made it. I ordered a caffe mocha and paid for it. Five minutes later, I realized they forgot us. Finally, the barista asked me what I ordered, and when I told her, she said they're all out of dark chocolate. I already paid, so it wasn't like I could walk away. I took the white chocolate instead, and even though it was frothy and delicious, I wouldn't order from them again. My boyfriend also ordered, and his order was forgotten. When they finally gave him his red eye, it was filled to the brim and overflowing, so he couldn't add creamer. Not my first choice next time. If you order, just make sure to ask if they have what you want.

I hiked around the airport looking for a good cup of coffee while traveling for the holidays. I saw Le Bus Cafe and was excited. Then, I saw the barista using whole milk for 2 or 3 orders before me that specifically asked for "Skim Milk", but I thought, this really isn't happening...is it? I ordered a skim milk cappuccino (it makes the best foam) and waited by the espresso machine for my order. I saw the barista pour my milk from a gallon of milk labelled "whole milk". When the order was finished he announced "Skim Milk Cappuccino!". I asked him about the milk he used, when he lied to me again saying "oh I mixed the milk together...it's 2-3% milk". Mind you, I had very obviously watched the whole operation. I don't mind whole milk cappuccinos, but I do mind when a server obviously lies to my face. If he had asked if it was OK to use the milk, or that they had run out, I would've happily moved on. The topper? When the drink finally cooled down enough to drink, the coffee was burned. I'll never use this cafe again.

This is in regards to the terminal B Lebus. Poor customer service. Asked to have my sandwich cut in half. She hands me a plastic knife to cut myself while I stare at the big metal knives hanging behind the counter. Also, customer in front of me ordered a sandwich and was handed a cold sandwich without even being offered it to be heated. He kindly stated "what a cold sandwich". Paid for an overpriced $8 sandwich that after a few bites went straight to the toilet.

I definitely liked the aesthetic of the establishment. Though I came later in the night and had the complicated order the two baristas gritted through the rush and provided great service. I commend them on doing their job to the best of their ability and for being good sports.

Paid $8.39 + tax for a Cuban Panini sandwich. Couldn't even eat one bite - it went right into the trash. I don't think this place could survive if it weren't in an airport with a captive clientele.

If you need an espresso go here. Moca was great and they knew what latte art was. Great vibe from employees also. Really surprised

Bagel was very stale and difficult to bite. Coffee lackluster. I would rather have gone to McDonald's
