My friend and I went here to celebrate our last day in Kyoto on his introduction trip to Japan. After making the reservation online, the only thing we had to pay for was the bottle of Japanese authentic red wine which was around ¥1500. The owner is very cheerful and friendly. Even though we had a language barrier, we were able to communicate and have pleasant conversations throughout the meal. The restaurant is tucked away in a neighborhood, and the interior has a very homey and comfortable feel to it which is accompanied by classical music for ambience. The owner is very skilled at his craft, making each plate beautiful and tasting his ingredients to ensure top quality. The time between each course is very well planned out, and we would finish our dish as the next one came out. I hope to come back another time in the future with another friend or family member!
