It is a bit stressful arriving in Biarritz by car. The hotel helpfully send out a map and if you follow the directions to the parking it is fine. The only problem would be if the car park is full as it would be difficult to find another one given the pedestrian restrictions in the summer. We were able to park but then you have to go to reception - via a lift and sets of stairs to register and then someone comes all the way back to help with the luggage. I don't use elevators so had to wait at the top and find the hotel, my husband had to carry two heavy suitcases. This is not the best introduction when arriving at the hotel. The hotel is very expensive in the summer (as are all hotels in Biarritz), our two level room overlooking the sea was a bit disappointing compared to the photos online. It just wasn't how I had imagined it. The view is nice over the sea but the hotel is quite a long way up so it is deceptively not near the actual sea. It is a steep walk back up. The hotel is centrally located which is nice - there are lots of good shops and cafés nearby which we liked. Breakfast was in the nice restaurant and is a buffet - it was good value for the location. I don't use elevators - the staircase needs repainting and looks gloomy with a big damp patch. Overall we were disappointed given the high rates.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The location was fantastic overlooking the beach & plaza. We enjoyed drinks on your terrace most nights. We ate in your restaurant one night - an amazing meal. I would particularly like to thank your reception staff who were so helpful and really friendly. Room was great - wuite spacious and lovely view.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay here. Bedrooms are on the smaller side but well laid out. Very comfortable beds and super welcoming service. Fabulous views of the Bay and location second to none.

Nice and cozy hotel with great location overlooking the beach, and walking distance to most of the city. Rooms were nice and clean. The hotel is a bit old with some wear & tear, but not a problem. Staff is great, friendly and service minded. Safe choice for hotel in Biarritz.

We have had an amazing stay. Staff all friendly and so happy to help. The restaurant was so enjoyable we ate there on both our nights. The best pillows I have ever experienced , I will be buying them when I get home. Lovely sized room with a wonderful terrace with a great view. Perfectly located in the centre of town, we will most definitely be returning soon

My wife and I stayed one night at Le Café de Paris Hotel in Biarritz and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which made us feel warmly welcomed. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Biarritz with beautiful views and everything within walking distance. Our room was comfortable and well-maintained, adding to the overall charm of the stay. Breakfast was good, though the variety could have been a bit broader. That said, the quality of what was offered was satisfying. We definitely plan to come back on our next visit to Biarritz!

Air conditioning does not work temp 25c…If you open the windows you will have too much noise from the street, so not a good night of sleep. if you try to check out close to 12 your key wont work. Its more of a restaurant than a hotel. I wont be back

This review is for the restaurant Cafe de Paris, although I would also give the hotel 5 stars also. Everything we had, appetizers, 2 entrees and dessert was exciting to eat. Each dish was seasoned beautifully, had layers of flavor and was plated like a photo in Gourmet. It is obvious that the chef is talented and takes extra care with his craft. Notice the foam in the chicken pic. Absolutely beautiful and delicious. The rhubarb dessert was exceptional. It was on a cake, but not sweet, and the texture more like a cookie. It was topped with crunchy and sweet and sour rhubarb ribbons. I could eat here again and again. What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cafe de Paris. Our room faced the beautiful ocean and was very spacious. Clean and beautifully decorated as well. The staff was very attentive and were eager to meet any needs we had. They have a bar and restaurant downstairs as well! Must stay if you ever find yourself in Biarritz!

What a gorgeous escape by the beach! You can see the surfers bright and early surfing the wonderful waves of the Grand Plage. Biarritz is a hidden paradise filled with gorgeous Art Deco buildings and cobblestone alleyways and walkways. This hotel is in the middle of where you want to be. The reception and service was top notch anytime you needed anything. The rooms are going to range you between 2 $220-$350+/night. Breakfast will range between 19 euros+ (I recommend you go elsewhere for breakfast, very mediocre and you can find a better option at Milwaukee Cafe nearby or Beach Cafe. Don't miss out on this beautiful hotel - you won't be disappointed!

At the opposite side of the sea view in Place Bellevue, this café/ restaurant has a pleasant outdoor view across the square and beaches of Biarritz. The interior dining room is well decorated and can be a place for a classy dinner. The cafe proposes food, drinks and finger food. The menu proposes French cuisine and few wine options. There is a menu comprising main dish + dessert + cafe for 21€ for Lunch from Monday to Friday. It is a reasonable classy place for a meal.

The food here is rather unexceptional here. Two separate hotel concierge recommended--they must pay good money to those hotels.
