Café Pierre Hermé

This household brand with many joints across Paris needs little introduction. The sheer amount of selections available is a real test for your decision making skill here! Though a tat pricier, the non-stop flow of customers is a realistic testimony of the great quality of their desserts/ cakes here. The ambience was cozy and definitely very lively. Great dessert, great macarons, great drinks! Highly recommended for a chill out after much footwork in the Paris wonderland!

This is a small but very cozy café with a lovely atmosphere. The macarons were delicious, and the Ispahan black tea was wonderfully fragrant and smooth. The staff were super friendly and provided excellent service. The restroom was also very clean, which is always a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy some sweet treats. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience at Pierre Hermé in Paris. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt elegant, warm, and refined. The interior design is modern yet cozy, with beautifully arranged displays that make every macaron look like a small piece of art. The staff were welcoming, patient, and happy to explain the different flavors and recommendations. The macarons are truly exceptional. Each one has a delicate, crisp shell with a perfectly soft and flavorful filling. The balance of sweetness is just right—never overpowering. My favorites were the pistachio, chocolate, and the vanilla from Madagascar, which had an incredibly rich and aromatic taste. You can really feel the creativity and craftsmanship in every bite. Beyond the taste, the presentation is stunning. Everything is packaged carefully and elegantly, making it perfect for gifts or souvenirs. The quality absolutely matches the reputation. If you are visiting Paris and love desserts, this place is a must-visit. Pierre Hermé delivers not just pastries, but a luxurious and memorable experience. i will definitely come back again on my next trip.

I visited this Pierre Hermé store three times during my stay in Paris, and each visit was a delight. The mango & citrus and olive & citrus macarons were our absolute favorites—perfectly balanced between sweetness and acidity, with a soft interior and a delicate crispness. Their chocolates were equally exceptional—rich, intensely flavorful, and melting effortlessly on the tongue, leaving a deeply satisfying finish. The last thing I bought was the Solento dessert, so exquisite and delightful that I can still taste it in my mind. I only wish I had ordered more pastries to take home. Unfortunately, their store at CDG Terminal 2E only carries macarons and chocolates, so I’ll have to wait until my next trip to indulge again! P.S. Their croissant is also very good, but we couldn’t distinguish it from those at other top boulangeries and pastry shops in France. It would be interesting to understand why Pierre Hermé’s croissants are priced at more than twice the cost of those from other top bakeries.

Expensive but worth a visit if you’re on a holiday! Enjoyed: fruity macarons, rose log cake, Feuille pastry. Yummy 😋

As a non-classy broke girlypop I always thought macarons were more of a visual food rather than a flavorful tasty treat. But then I tried macarons here👁🫦👁 I got their signature flavors: rose + lychee + raspberry, and chocolate + passionfruit. The first one was honestly a bit too much all at once for me so it was hard to taste the distinct flavors. But the chocolate + passionfruit??? incredibleeeeeeee omg I went back the next day to buy more. Sweet yummy macarons and even sweeter staff at this place! 💞

We stopped in on an afternoon to purchase some macarons; the service we received from a young lady was the best we've had in 5 days in Paris. She happily took the time to translate/explain different flavour combinations (in English), and gave suggestions, without making us feel pressured to make our decisions. We bought 8 macarons, and a pistachio pastry. The pastry was delicious; great flavour and texture. The macarons were good, but I preferred the taste and texture of the macarons we had at Laduree.

Super polite staff, amazing display, top notch melt in your mouth macarons. The packaging is really good too, I'm using my metal box as a souvenir now. The mango passion fruit macaron is my favourite ❤️
