Le Carillon

Every summer we visit the Luberon Valley from New York City and Le Carillon in Goult has become one of our favorite places for a excellent lunch. We have now eaten there four times. We usually order the lunch pre-fix menu, but since there are always more things we want to try, we end up adding a few extra dishes to share. The foie gras is a standout and not to be missed. This year, the lunch menu included a delicious beef carpaccio and a perfectly cooked fish, think it was a dorade. The restaurant is family-run and you can tell they take great pride in what they do. The service is warm and helpful, which makes the experience truly special. We will definitely be back next year.

Visited again July 2025 I would like to share these beautiful dishes. The foie gras is a must try. @Visited July 2024 This is one of our favorite restaurants. Everything is delicious, but the foie gras and beef filet were amazing! The wine Madame chose for us was also excellent. You can relax while looking at the village of Goult and the Madame is a warm and cozy restaurant.

We have been many times, and have always been so happy with the service, food, atmosphere and clientele. I was dismayed to read an absolutely horrible review by someone that was clearly fake and vindictive. SHAME ON THOSE PEOPLE for this horrible contrivance. Let's be clear, the couple that runs this place are genuine, caring, thoughtful and kind, and best of all, they produce excellent food and an amazing experience. We love seeing them every time we go. If you are reading this, make a reservation and GO, you will not be dissapointed.

We had a wonderful experience at Le Carillon. We were welcomed with our 2 children (ages 7 and 4) on a late reservation despite being nervous to take them in such a refined restaurant. The service, food and wine was excellent and they even went out of their way to make sure that the kids were taken care of. An all around wonderful experience with great hospitality.

What an exquisite place, and what an outstanding service. The food was amazing, the staff was lovely. Definitely a place that will not disappoint. If you visit Provence, make sure you book (in advance) a table at this amazing restaurant! Lovely 💜🫶🏻 Thank you for the amazing evening and dinner

Phenomenal little restaurant we changed upon after visiting the market in Apt. We had mainly seafood and everything was cooked and flavoured to perfection. I would highly recommend you try this restaurant if you are visiting the surrounding area. We had the mackerel to start and subsequently the seabass and turbot.

Our favourite restaurant in the area. But you really need to book a couple of months in advance for summer. A beautiful location on the main square in Goult, absolutely top service with great wine recommendations every time, and the food .... fabulous!!!

At the charming square of Goult, we enjoyed the remarkably warm service with a big smile and a fantastic lunch at Le Carillon. The crab bisque, veal back steak, the friandises with the coffee were all impeccable. Visit this place if you're in the Luberon!

I really love Carillon and I really think it's one of the best restaurants in the Luberon--in fact maybe *the* best in its class. I had a marvelous foie gras with beet puree and a very good monkfish with avocado carpaccio for my main. Service was professional and kind. And Goult is one of the sweetest villages in the area.

We enjoyed our meal so much we came back a week later with two more friends for a total of 6 people. The food is wonderful, the wine excellent and the owners who are the chef and Maitre'd are lovely and friendly despite our limited French. Beautiful surroundings tops it all.
