Le Carousel Patisserie at Tilden

Some of the best croissants I’ve had in the Bay Area! My gf brought these home. There’s a triple chocolate, regular chocolate croissant & a raspberry filling one. The raspberry one!?!? Omg. I didn’t expect such fresh raspberry sauce. Incredible. I’m a chocolate-girl too, so the other two were just as delicious. Light, soft dough with nice crispies on the outside. Had to make croissant ice-cream sandwiches with some pistachio gelato :)

Small very authentic patisserie, perfect to grap a delicious slice of France - savoury or sweet - served with real charm. Take out mainly but you can sit into the Tilden hotel lobby with comfort to enjoy your delicacies. Great coffee.

The pastries were incredibly delicious, with unusual dough. I especially liked the pineapple bun. It would be great if it were possible to heat the pastries. The pastries get 100 out of 100. I highly recommend this place to everyone who enjoys visiting coffee shops.

I came here twice in one day!! Absolutely outstanding and creative, high quality French pastries and desserts. The owners are French, and they are so kind. I tried the croissant with spicy Calabrian coppa and cheddar cheese, a pastry with mushrooms, bechamel, and truffle, and a really interesting galette des rois with pistachio and grapefruit. I think they are geniuses! Fantastic cortado, and very fair prices given the authentic quality!! Right next to the Union Square Hilton in the Tilden hotel. The lobby space is not great, but at least there is internal seating!

A concise offering of exquisite pastries. I had the pistachio grapefruit galette, and my friend had the ham and cheese croissant. The lobby of the hotel is available for seating.

i got some pastries and an iced americano for take away and had a very pleasant experience here. employees are friendly and witty! coffee was great and pastries were phenomenal—the truffle mushroom was my personal fav, my mom enjoyed the pain suisse. will definitely make this a regular spot:)

This is my new favorite bakery in San Francisco! Everything was amazing, delicious coffee, amazing pastries, at this point I almost tried everything 😋 The service was also excellent, thank you Ben!

very happy to see le carousel finally open a brick and mortar! i adore st honoré and le carousel's is definitely the best one in sf (though there's virtually no competition) and a solid contender nationwide. particularly love the chantilly cream. i've tried them at popups and at their preorder location, same quality. friendly staff! there's no seating in store but there might be some in the hotel lobby.

I absolutely love Le Carousel Patisserie pastries - particularly their chocolate croissants which are fresh, airy, and delicious! Highly recommend and the couple that owns this business is so sweet.
