What a find. Our friends had been before so we decided to go for my husbands birthday. We had the menu at 44 euros and our friends I think was 32. ||We had a coupe du maison which is champagne with framboise and a splash of cointreau. Yum. Amuse bouche were flavourful and a tiny bowl of tomato soup was divine. ||The winner for the starters was the giant strawberry with foie gras. Thought it would come next to a piece of foie but see pictures was divine. I had seared tuna and friends had trout. All the dishes were presented beautifully. Main course filet du porc noir du bigorre for birthday boy and a fillet of veal for me with friends sticking to fish and having monkfish. Again everything beautifully presented. Bread rolls pave or original are offered throughout the meal. ||The desserts are a work of art with flavours exploding in your mouth and oh so pretty. Tarte au citron in a lemon, giant raspberry of spun sugar with sorbet and shortbread and more inside. White chocolate flowerpot with strawberry mouse and other flavours inside. Magnificent. ||Sommelier knows his business and we had a lovely bourgogne red. ||We were all seated in a pretty courtyard outside and staff supplied blankets if anyone was a bit chilly. The staff are a pleasure, helpful and friendly but not ingratiating. ||The train station is across the road so there is the odd train passing which I quite liked. The thought of coming home on train after a hard day at work in Toulouse to find this gem of a restaurant at other end would make the day go much faster.
