A charming and beautiful place with a wonderful, welcoming staff. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the hotel’s location is fantastic - surrounded by great restaurants, patisseries, and bakeries. Visiting the town during the Christmas market season is highly recommended. We also enjoyed the Tea Time experience held in the hotel’s Salon from Wednesday to Sunday, and it was an absolute delight. Highly recommended!

Came all the way here for the Michelin star food of Le Chambard, and it's totally worth it. First of all, the little town Kaysersberg itself is a beauty, your journey starts on your way here. Didn't get to stay in the hotel, but the restaurant is definitely a must of you're a fan of fine+dining. The "Green Style" eel will firstly give you a rich while refreshing flavor of the fish. And if you're here during October the White Truffle season, definitely have to ask for it to add into your crayfish, OMG, so sophisticated the taste. The Arctic Char "cooked in the beeswax", is surely phenomenal both the way they poured the 75 degree beeswax onto the raw char, also the taste of slow-cooking char, tender and flavorful, you'll love it like I do. The local game was perfectly roasted, medium rare, plus the plum and berry desert, I will come again for sure.

A Nearly Perfect Stay - One Disappointing Detail My family of three visited Le Chambard last week, and in almost every respect, the experience was exceptional. The hotel was immaculate from top to bottom, and the service was outstanding. Every staff member—without exception—greeted us warmly with genuine smiles and hospitality. Despite being housed in a historic building, the interior felt pristine and modern, with everything looking beautifully maintained and new. The staff were impeccably dressed and spoke excellent English, adding to the professional atmosphere. We stayed in the third-floor suite, which was remarkably spacious and impeccably presented upon arrival. Why Four Stars Instead of Five: My only significant concern was the baby crib mattress. When we inspected it, we discovered the "padding" consisted of two old, makeshift pillows that appeared worn and unclean. This was simply unacceptable for our infant. We immediately contacted reception, and to their credit, they responded quickly and graciously replaced it. However, the replacement was still just two pillows—albeit slightly newer ones. For a hotel of this caliber and price point, I expected a proper crib mattress. In fact, I believe our baby deserves at least the same level of comfort we enjoyed in our own bed. Understanding they wouldn't be installing a proper mattress, we opted to have our baby sleep with us instead. This issue stood in such stark contrast to the otherwise flawless experience that it was particularly disappointing. Everything else about Le Chambard was truly remarkable—I genuinely don't understand how this one detail could be overlooked when such care is evident everywhere else. Would I recommend Le Chambard? Absolutely—just bring your own travel crib if you're traveling with an infant.

The exterior of the building belies its contemporary, high-end interior. The best hotel on our 16-day French driving excursion. Perfection from start to finish. Room 302 is a two story, two bedroom suite, absolutely lovely with views of the vineyards and medeival castle above town. We had dinner both nights in Le Winstub, and enjoyed them a great deal. There's nothing like waking up on a clear, sunny Sunday morning to the sound of church bells in the town square. Absolutely loved it here. We were sad to leave.

Would not recommend this hotel for 2 reasons: 1. The sound proofing is insanely bad. We could hear everything from the room above us, including when they walked around and when they coughed. 2. Upon check out, we noticed they charged us for breakfast, even though we declined that option when we checked in. We didn't even stay the full 3 nights that we had booked, and they charged for 3 days of breakfast. It's a shame for a 5 star hotel to try to rip people off like this. We had wanted to stay in Kaysersberg and that's why we chose this hotel, but after our experience, we wish we had explored other options.

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of a charming Alsatian village. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our room was very comfortably appointed with a pleasant terrace. The breakfasts are excellent and the fine dining restaurant of Olivier Nasti is extraordinary.

Our room was spacious and light , with beautiful furniture and materials, well designed lighting, very comfortable bed and pillows, high quality linen. What is not to like? The service was charming too and breakfast a treat: fabulous viennoiseries ( croissants and pains au chocolat) chouquettes, delicious breads, excellent jam, variety of terrine and charcuteries, creme caramel and financiers, eggs, cheese board etc. Worth staying at this hotel just for the breakfast!!

Lovely stay at Le Chambre Hotel! The service is excellent — staff are friendly and attentive, and the hotel feels newly renovated with very comfortable rooms. The location is perfect for hiking, cycling, and exploring Alsace. A few small things to note: no toothbrush/toothpaste, and the shampoo is a basic 3-in-1. Breakfast is limited in variety and portion size, especially if you’re expecting a full English-style meal. Still, with the relaxing spa, great service, and thoughtful touches like free water and bread on departure, it’s a wonderful weekend getaway spot!
