The charming and friendly Le Chansonnier made this trip way more memorable, the lovely staff and the amazing food which I can’t recommend more made us come back next day! All gratitude to Rayane and his colleagues! See you next time

Brilliant neighbour bistro. Super atmosphere, great food and delightful service. Set menu during the day for 3 courses under €20, a bargain!

French local with no tourists. I cannot read the menu and well..... So not to embarrass myself I asked for the chefs recommendation. "It's all good" he says 🤣 shoot that didn't work. I asked if they had any fish 🤷🏽‍♀️. He said a few of something. I replied "sure I will try that" Wait and see what he brings me 🤣 Life's an adventure. Ten minutes later..... What he brought was so juicy and delicious. I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is like an old man's pub and the people are lovely and friendly. The chef is fabulous. Best meal on have here.

Super friendly staff! Despite the lack of ingredients, I unfortunately had to leave this restaurant without trying any dishes. I normally eat neither meat nor too much carbs. The only salad I wanted to have didn't have enough ingredients so I left it without having to try any dishes

Had breakfast and lunch on separate occasions and I can say probably one of the best experiences I had in Paris, I recommend you try the chef’s recommendation. The highlight were the staff that were super nice and helped me figure out why my SIM card wasn’t functioning.

Nice place to have a lunch. We ordered full lunch set(entree,+plat+dessert=17EUR) and two glasses of wine. Salad with mozzarella and tomatoes+eggs Benedict with salmon, steak with french fries+cod with veggies, pannacota with berries+tarte tatin. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially desserts. The service was friendly and quick. We liked this place and recommend it.

Yelp
This classical French bistro with red benches, brass lighting fixtures and signed portraits of old French crooners has a sad, romantic, retro feel to it -- but in a good way. Located on the corner of a quiet residential street in the tenth with big glass doors that open wide when it's warm, it's really got a prize spot in the hood. I've been here a handful of times and the food is always great, though I have to admit that the very classical cuisine is not really my cup of tea. That said, it's an excellent option if you are looking for truly authentic French dishes (read: blanquette de veau, pave du rumsteak, saucission de Lyon aux lentils, daurade roti) with fresh ingredients at affordable prices. My pave with pepper sauce was fantastic, and the fried potatoes which come as thinly sliced circles that are tender and luscious on the inside and crispy perfection all around are among the best in the city. The wine list is very classic as well and correctly priced. Our 30E bottle of Saint Emillion was luscious and smooth and perfect for the stick-to-your-bones meals we had ordered to warm us up on a chilly Sunday night. Speaking of Sundays, they're open every day of the week, so if you're dying for a trad meal on most restaurants' day of rest, don't hesitate to come here.

Yelp
Nice little gem away from the tourists, recommended by a friend. I had dinner here with my husband and our daughters. Everything from beginning to end was excellent. Our waitress Marie was very pleasant and she explained the menu very well.

Yelp
Excellent food! And the best service. The lamb chops are excellent. As is the salmon and goat cheese starter. You'll want to buy a tub of it.

Yelp
Lovely food. Big servings and clearly a local favourite. Really liked the mushroom starter I had and the salads ordered to the table looked really good.

Yelp
Old school (more old than old school) brasserie serving what pretty much looks like reheated French fare to locals and tourists who don't know any better. What annoys me is that they seem to take it seriously and act proud about what is a very mediocre establishment.
