I visited with my wife, and my food was delicious. However, my wife had the "Buchers choice" which was lamb. Unfortunately, 80% of her meat was inedible because of gristle. We mentioned this, and the waitress offered my wife a desert as compensation. My wife declined, and when the bill arrived, we were charged full price. We feel as though protit was put before our dining experience. I doubt we will go back, which is a shame as we have been many times before.

We had some amazing food during our week in Clermont-Ferrand, but Le Chardonnay was hands down our favorite. Every dish was stellar. Perfectly prepared and presented. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Put this restaurant on the top of your list!

Since I arrived at Clermont-Ferrand Le Chardonnay with that alluring decoration caught my eye and I decided to went there on a special night. I went there for my Birthday while I didn't know I need to reserve a table. When we arrived there was no room for us. But, they were so friendly and accepted us generously when I told about my birthday. Everything was perfect in Le Chardonnay, they made my night and I'm still thankful of them. Their champagne, food, behavior, the ambiance and the service were all awesome. Whenever I need to choose a restaurant for a memorable night, undoubtedly I go to this restaurant.

We loved especially the food (great senses!) and also the charming service. The place of the restaurant is not very special, just in the old part of the city, but fine enough
