As a wedding photographer, I’ve worked at Le Château several times, and it’s always a pleasure to be back. The setting is beautiful and has such a calm, elegant feel—whether it’s portraits in the garden or a first look in the courtyard overlooking the Hudson Valley, everything photographs so naturally here. The ballroom has just the right balance of grandeur and warmth. With its tall windows and soft light, it really adds to the atmosphere without feeling overdone. The team is always great to work with, and the day flows smoothly from start to finish. It’s one of those venues that consistently delivers, both for the couple and for everyone working behind the scenes.

My daughter just had her wedding at Le Chateau. To say it was a beautiful, impeccable wedding is an understatement. We’ve received rave reviews from our guests saying everything from it was the most elegant wedding to praising the food and service. The venue and staff was way beyond our expectations. Having worked in the wedding business most of my life I’ve been to hundreds of weddings. My father was a wedding photographer and I was a wedding planner at a venue. In all that time cannot remember having such a perfect experience. Sarah, Claudia, Debbie, Tori and there staff were the loveliest people I’ve ever worked with. The food was like going to a 5 star restaurant. When we visited the venue I thought it was very pretty but lit up at night it was exquisite. Dreams do come true.

Le Chateau was our dream wedding venue. It is aesthetically stunning, designed with weddings in mind, and boasts a jaw-dropping ballroom that left us and our guests in awe. The in-house catering was absolutely delicious and received rave reviews from everyone. The staff provided consistent support throughout the planning process and were incredibly attentive on the wedding day, collaborating seamlessly with our wedding planners to ensure every detail was perfect. Le Chateau helped create a truly unforgettable celebration that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Best. Venue. Ever! Le Chateau was the first venue we toured for our wedding and we immediately fell in love. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is incredible! Sarah, the Sales Director, gave us an amazing tour and explained to us how hands-on her staff is. When you book Le Chateau, they provide you with a recommended vendor list, which was incredibly helpful. I booked all of our vendors from that list, too easy! As you get closer to the wedding, you'll have a planning Zoom call with Tori, the event coordinator, and Debbie, the maitre d. They will go over all of the food, timeline, details, vendors, and logistics. Le Chateau coordinates with your vendors - no need to have a wedding planner! Six months before our wedding, we attended a cocktail tasting event to try different appetizers and desserts. It was so much fun! On the day of our wedding, Claudia was our bridal attendant and she was amazing! She took care of us the whole day. Made sure we were hydrated, fed, and still breathing. Our guests had a wonderful time too! Everyone loved the venue, the food, and the excellent service. We even had a gorgeous sunset later in the day. Le Chateau exceeded my expectations and gave me my fairytale wedding. I cannot recommend them enough.

Le Chateau is a top tier Catering venue with true event professionals. We have had only positive experiences working with their team and ensuring a perfect event. We just got married at Le Chateau in September 2025, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Sarah, Tori and Debbie work flawlessly as a team to help coordinate the event and keep your timeline running smoothly. The venue itself is stunning – we fell in love with it instantly and we got millions of compliments from our guests. The outdoor ceremony space is amazing, it was so romantic, and the ballroom was magical. It is the kind of place where every single detail was thought of and considered. Our bridal attendant, Isabel, was AMAZING. She was anticipating all of our needs (even ones we didn’t know we had) and was always making sure we were fed. The food was also excellent and one thing I loved about the venue is that you are invited to a tasting prior to your wedding date to pick out some of the food you may want at the actual event. We will be thinking back on this day for a long time – it was everything we could’ve dreamed of. Thank you to Le Chateau from the bottom of our hearts – anyone would be lucky to get married in such a wonderful place.

Our wedding at Le Chateau was even better than we could have imagined. From our first meeting with Sarah to the months leading up with Tori, and everyone on the day of especially Debbie and Claudia, this was a top notch team. In addition to how flawless the day went (despite some obstacles), these women truly made you feel how special this day was. The food was unbelievable, guests still talk about it. The venue is absolutely beautiful- inside and out. Highly recommend the ceremony on site. I really can go on and on about all the good things Le Chateau has to offer but you will see for yourself the second you walk in. We just had our wedding at Le Chateau in South Salem, NY, and it was absolutely amazing! The venue is stunning, the food was incredible, and the service was flawless. A special shoutout to my bridal attendant, Claudia, who went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed all day. She was truly the best! I attended my friend's wedding here this weekend. In addition to the fact that the property is stunningly beautiful & huge. The food was impressive especially the appetizers and desserts. The bathroom was spotless and the venue was perfectly decorated for the holidays. More than anything, the staff was incredibly attentive, not just to the bride and groom, but to the guests. At the end of the reception, my friends and I couldn't get an Uber or a cab to go back to the hotel. The staff was genuinely concerned and helpful. We finally found an uber to come to pick us up but it was more than anything hour, staff were so kind and patient. Really impressive.

This is the most beautiful venue and we couldn't be happier we stumbled across it. The whole property is absolutely stunning, inside and out. Leading up to the wedding and on the actual day, the staff was extremely helpful, organized, and on top of it! They did a fabulous job.

VENDORS BEWARE! HORRIBLY RUDE STAFF For the people who don't feel like reading all of this, you can scroll to the end for a summary. What I experienced here as a musician: I wish there were only one part to this story, but sadly I have multiple things to say. First off, as a musician who was working one the weddings here, the first thing I was greeted with by one of the staff members (a male with a blue striped collard shirt, medium height, brown hair) was a series of cuss words. Here's the quick backstory. We were inside getting ready to play cocktail hour and the ceremony was taking place outside. The staff told us to make sure we don't talk loud because the doors aren't sound proof, so we remained quieter in our speech. I started to warm up with very low humming tones on my instrument to get my lips warm and the dude I just mentioned cussed at me. There's no way possible the people OUTSIDE could hear me while I was INSIDE, plus I was super quiet with my warmups. I don't go for that, so I proceeded to check him on it because I'm not the one when it comes to disrespect. Afterwards, he disappeared somewhere probably from embarrassment, and the Maître D named Debby apparently told my bandleader that I'm banned from the venue for standing my ground. We played the wedding though obviously. Also don't get me started with Debby. I do over 100 weddings a year and I've never worked with someone even close to her rudeness. She disrespected the band multiple times through scolding and threatening to unplug us for simply doing our job. Did I mention the bride and the party loved us? We had them on the dance floor all night. So clearly we are not the problem. One of the staff members tried to rudely cut us off in the middle of a song, which we just ignored her and played the song all the way though. Especially because everyone was dancing and having a good time. Since we ignored her, she didn't bring out a few of the vendor meals that they are obligated to feed us with. Btw if you don't know, our meals are typically paid for by the family who hires us. So if we don't get that food, you're actually wasting the bride and groom's money. After complaining though, we got our food. TLDR: The staff uses fowl language to its vendors. Debby (the maître d) is rude and does over the top actions like saying we aren't allowed back at the venue. Staff also retaliates by withholding our vendor meals. Final thoughts: As someone who has worked in the wedding industry for 7 years, I've never seen this behavior before.

I attended a wedding here as part of the bridal party. it was the most beautiful venue! One of the staff members, Claudia, was the best! She was so kind and helpful. She was there the whole day to help with all of our bridal party needs. She made the whole experience! 10/10 recommend having your wedding here!

Oh my gosh Le Chateau was AMAZING!!! My husband and I had sooooo much fun at our wedding last Friday - it was truly the most perfect day and night! We had many guests come up to us to compliment us (like we had anything to do with it?!) on the beauty that is Le Chateau!! People were so impressed by the gorgeously landscaped grounds, the DELICIOUS food, the attention to detail of all of the staff, and how quickly and thoroughly the runners/bartenders/staff catered to all guest needs. Our bridal party was thrilled with Riley and how helpful she was throughout the day as well! We truly appreciate all of the time and help Riley and Debbie (our Maitre-D) provided to us throughout the day. We could not be happier with how our wedding day went :) Sarah and Tori, were also amazing, not only for answering my few million questions throughout the last 2 years, but for being so kind and calm in every interaction. Wedding planning can become very stressful and I am very happy to say that any stress I experienced never had anything to do with the venue. I knew Le Chateau always had my back and truly felt supported :) I will miss speaking with them so regularly! Many of our guests have relayed that our wedding was the best they had ever been to :D If that doesn't say it then I don't know what will!!! Everyone we came in contact with throughout wedding planning with Le Chateau was fabulous and extremely helpful. They truly helped make our dream wedding a reality :D We are so sad our wedding is over, but we are looking back grinning because it was better than we ever could have imagined. Booking Le Chateau is a decision we will NEVER regret! We hope we have the opportunity to attend a wedding there as a guest because it was honestly that incredible. Please, please, PLEASE book them -- you will not be disappointed!! :)

COVID delays in 2020 required my daughter to move her Wedding to October 29, 2021. To say that it was worth the wait is an absolute understatement. From the moment we met the staff at Le Chateau in February 2019, the ballroom is absolutely magnificent. Hands down the "take your breath away factor" led us to to choose this venue. Our expectations were consistently exceeded. The support provided to plan the shift in date, as well as the spirit of family they demonstrated in both the planning and execution of this momentous event, were second to none. My husband and I always dreamt of our daughter's wedding day and Le Chateau did not disappoint they covered each and every detail of making this the Wedding of our dreams for our daughter and son-In-Law and our families.

Attended a wedding at LeChateau recently. The outdoor ceremony space was beautiful! the food and service very good. Bathrooms and common areas were clean. My only gripe is that 3 guests were in wheelchairs, none able to manage any stairs and the venue doesn't have ramps to facilitate ADA access. I understand this is an older property that may be ADA exempt, but at least out of courtesy to disabled guests LeChateau could purchase a few aluminum ramps that can be used as needed. The only way into the venue was around the side of the building into the ballroom and then the wheelchair bound guests were still unable to access the lower area of the cocktail reception which had 2-3 steps. The interior access could be fixed so easily and cost effectively! I realize the exterior has more steps and more difficult to build a ramp for. I was personally saddened for the family members who couldn't fully enjoy all aspects of the wedding due to their disabilities. LeChateau needs to make their venue inclusive! shame on them.

It's hard to put into words how perfect our wedding day was, other than to say it was the best day of my life. First of all, the planning process was seamless. Le Cheteau was so clearly deliberate with all of their processes, to make sure their brides/grooms had the least amount of stress to make their wedding day so much fun and so special. The venue itself is so unique and so gorgeous. The outside looks like the titular chateau, with a charming cocktail hour area, robust getting ready area, and brand new, stunning and elegant ballroom. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful. But most importantly, THE FOOD IS SO SO SO GOOD!!!! They customized whatever we wanted for our menu, and all of the food is made to order on the day of the event. This is not typical wedding food. It legitimately rivaled food from the best restaurants in NYC. The only complaints we got from our wedding guests were that they were too full for all the dessert. Thanks so much to Sarah, Tori, Debbie and Mary for going out of their way at every opportunity to make sure my wife and I, and our guests, had the most perfect, memorable wedding. 5 stars!

Beautiful Wedding This past month we hosted our Daughter's Wedding @ Le Chateau. It was a great event. the Staff, from Sarah, to Debbie, to the Chefs were very accommodating. The Food was plentiful, and delicious, and the setting was incredible. As a wedding professional, I appreciate all the moving parts of a wedding, and they handled it with great professionalism. Thank you all for making our daughter's wedding so special!

Beautiful renovations at this refurbished landmark. Attended a fundraiser here and the staff was forever doting and attentive and the bartenders knew how to handle their shakers well. The renovations are simply gorgeous-they taken away some of the darkness and revamped with nice walls and stunning chandeliers. The food was decent-cocktail hour was good-very good. Entrees were 3.2/5-had filet mignon which was over sadly cooked when RARE was requested but still, it was tasty. Dessert was a disappointment for my sweet tooth-raspberry mousse with a cake interior...mousse was decent but the cake destroyed the dessert. Their coffee was very good and bold. Looking forward to the next event here and hopefully I can have a better gauge of their food. Will be back and naturally will update

Le Chateau delivered on the wedding of my daughter's dreams. The newly renovated facility is drop dead gorgeous. The food is fantastic and plentiful. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. Our guests could not stop raving. I highly recommend Chateau for any event.
