"Perched at an altitude of 600m, this restaurant occupying a former watchtower in the centre of the village looks out over the Belledonne mountains, including the Clocher des Pères. This setting teeming with character sets the scene for enticing cuisine created by Éloïse and Pierre Troccaz, the discreet yet dynamic couple at the helm. The latter, a chef who has patiently guided his career away from the beaten track, creates accomplished and creative cuisine which steers clear of routine and is partly improvised depending on market availability. His recipes are heavily influenced by the traditions and ingredients of the Savoie, as witnessed by dishes such as millefeuille of trout, lobster and diot sausage, and char with a Beaufort cream sauce, Savoie biscuit and blueberries. It is impossible to say enough good things about this amazing restaurant. Innovative without losing sight of harmonious tastes, the parade of superbly cooked dishes provides one highlight after another. Excellent price/quality ratio. Concise and well-chosen winr list allowing diners to experience the delicious wines from Savoy.

Amazing alpine setting, spectacular and sophisticated cuisine, impeccable wine, panoramic views, refined service. Overall a very fine and high quality experience. Michelin star highly deserved, and may I add, the same place in Paris or New York would have at least two. Keep up the good work!

We discovered this restaurant a couple of years ago and have kept coming back. The setting is magnificent looking across the Maurienne valley from its small dining room. And in summer even more enjoyable, eating al fresco and served immaculately by the chic and stylish wife of the talented young chef. I must say he adds a humerous and delicious twist to classic french cuisine. It was no surprise to discover he' d earned his first étoile michelin so quickly.

Superbe expérience vécu au Clocher des Pères Le cadre est intimiste et soigné. Le menu Haute Couture est un vrai régal, nous avions l'impression de déguster de l'art. Les quantités sont bien pensées également. Autre point fort: le service. Très pro et en même temps tellement sympathique, que ce soit la femme du chef ou le serveur on a adoré. Nous avons déjà hâte de revenir.

Un grand merci pour cette belle soirée aux petits oignons ! La cuisine, aussi recherchée qu'équilibrée dans les saveurs, ainsi que les 4 desserts délicieux (Un différent par convive!) étaient un véritable régal. Le service, à la fois appliqué et chaleureux, nous a permis de passer une belle soirée, où l’on se sent vraiment bien. Ici, rien n’est surfait, je recommande vivement.
