"Perched at an altitude of 600m, this restaurant occupying a former watchtower in the centre of the village looks out over the Belledonne mountains, including the Clocher des Pères. This setting teeming with character sets the scene for enticing cuisine created by Éloïse and Pierre Troccaz, the discreet yet dynamic couple at the helm. The latter, a chef who has patiently guided his career away from the beaten track, creates accomplished and creative cuisine which steers clear of routine and is partly improvised depending on market availability. His recipes are heavily influenced by the traditions and ingredients of the Savoie, as witnessed by dishes such as millefeuille of trout, lobster and diot sausage, and char with a Beaufort cream sauce, Savoie biscuit and blueberries. Innovative without losing sight of harmonious tastes, the parade of superbly cooked dishes provides one highlight after another. Excellent price/quality ratio. Concise and well-chosen winr list allowing diners to experience the delicious wines from Savoy.

Amazing alpine setting, spectacular and sophisticated cuisine, impeccable wine, panoramic views, refined service. Overall a very fine and high quality experience. Michelin star highly deserved, and may I add, the same place in Paris or New York would have at least two. Keep up the good work!

We discovered this restaurant a couple of years ago and have kept coming back. The setting is magnificent looking across the Maurienne valley from its small dining room. And in summer even more enjoyable, eating al fresco and served immaculately by the chic and stylish wife of the talented young chef. I must say he adds a humerous and delicious twist to classic french cuisine. It was no surprise to discover he' d earned his first étoile michelin so quickly.

Une expérience inoubliable dans ce restaurant étoilé à l’ambiance chaleureuse et familiale ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec le sourire par une équipe aux petits soins. Le service est impeccable, les serveurs sont à la fois professionnels, attentionnés et passionnés par leur métier. Dans l’assiette, c’est tout simplement un festival de saveurs : chaque plat est un véritable chef-d’œuvre, à la fois raffiné, généreux et parfaitement exécuté. On sent tout l’amour et le savoir-faire. Nous avons également eu la chance de passer la nuit dans leur chambre d’hôte : un pur moment de confort et de détente. Literie impeccable, chambre sublime décorée avec goût, et au réveil… un petit déjeuner plus que copieux, fait maison, et délicieux. Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe pour ce moment exceptionnel. Une adresse à ne surtout pas manquer, nous reviendrons sans hésiter !
