"Set in the countryside, this charming restaurant is peaceful and bucolic. Behind his stove, the chef masterfully prepares dishes in tune with the zeitgeist and the seasons. In summer, enjoy the quiet terrace overlooking the meadow. Accessible only by reservation." - Michelin Inspector

We stayed one Sunday night in June and being vegetarian we met the chef who told us he was good with vegetables!.So at around 7.30pm we were treated to a muse bouche, then a mains course of prepared vegetables in a sauce, which was delicious followed by a super dessert. At 48 euros a head it was a bit above our budget, but it was great food. The room was well appointed, with a sitting out area over looking the countryside. The hotel is in a small village and there was nothing to do other than enjoy the room, food,a chat with the helpful chef and his partner and talk with fellow guest for a couple of hours.Which after a long drive was just perfect! Thanks to the owners for making our stay enjoyable!

It's impossible to fault this place.Really comfortable modern rooms with beautiful views, fantastic food and a wonderful couple running it for whom nothing is too much trouble.Dinner and breakfast on the terrace was a fabulous experience. An exceptional place to stay only one hour from the Channel Tunnel.

We have been coming to the restaurant for nearly 20 years. It is always consistently good in every way, service, ambiance not to mention the delicious food. We have celebrated many happy occasions including 2 big birthday dos for 20 + people. Sebastian and Sandrine did us proud. Their attention to detail is wonderful with beautiful crockery, cutlery and glasses and a lovely friendly service. We love their terrace which has beautiful bucolic views. Cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough.

Rooms are modern, chic and comfortable. The patio and sun loungers outside are a plus particularly in summer.|So good to be able to stay somewhere that is quiet and has an excellent restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome by Sandrine and were only sorry that we couldn’t stay longer to chill out and sample Sebastian’s wonderful food.

The tone for our visit was set when we arrived - the owner came to meet us in the car park with an umbrella, as it was drizzling. He and his wife were very hospitable and the hotel is elegant and comfortable. Our room was a decent size, with a small area to sit outside (if it hadn't been raining!) and was well furnished with a very attractive ensuite. Breakfast was excellent, with all the ingredients fresh and good quality (we had expected high standards after the superb meal the previous evening). What a great start to our holiday. Highly recommended.

Our second visit, and it was as good as we had hoped. The hotel and restaurant are both excellent, and together make it a superb combination. The rooms are modern and spacious. Breakfast was absolutely perfect: fresh home-made produce served (this time) on the terrace looking out over fields. It was nice to walk past the hens that laid our eggs on the way to breakfast.||Calm and Beautiful.
