I found the food here to be of varying quality...not sure the Bib Gourmand is well deserved based on what I had. The main of lamb (both leg and shoulder) with lentils and pumpkin was very good, although the jus was a bit overseasoned. I had cheese for dessert, and they gave a selection of four very good cheeses.
But the starter seemed poorly conceived and had no strong flavours: goat cheese cannelloni with pistachio sauce and mustard ice cream. The cannelloni was curiously tepid, and it did not help having the element of the ice cream on there as well. The mustard ice cream had very little mustard flavour and added almost nothing, the pistachio element was difficult to notice.
The amuse bouche was a nice touch but were all under seasoned.
The service was friendly but I have to say, stuck in the corner as I was, a solo diner, I did feel ignored at times. After I had finished my main, I sat with my empty plate in front of me for over 10 minutes. The waiters did not approach my table at all during that time, not to offer water or to clear anything. I was in there for over 1.5 hours, longer than many tables of two or four who arrived after me but left before.
A final note: they didn't have a list of wines by the glass, which I found strange (this has never been the case in any other restaurant I have visited in France).
It was an OK experience but I wouldn't return or recommend.
