What a perfect way to spend an evening. A few minutes walk from the Kings Road in Chelsea this French Restaurant offers an excellent menu of food a good wine list all served by friendly and professional staff. Excellent food, very good wine all in a beautiful setting.

Absolutely superb lunch - crab then king prawns. Delightful waitress. However there is no disabled loo with the gents fairly inaccessible. But overall. 9/10

Excellent French restaurant in the heart of Chelsea. People who come here are clearly regulars, all greeted by a “Bonjour Monsieur/Madame” as they arrive. The service is extremely professional, fast and efficient. We went for steaks, they had a special with sauce aux morilles which was delicious and served with delicious asparagus and roasted potatoes. We also had a classic sirloin with sauce bearnaise and fries which was delicious. I actually thought the pricing was reasonable for Chelsea and the portion decently sized. Although it was only two of us, we were sat at a nice 4 person table so plenty of room. We were sat in the veranda which I was initially suspicious about given its the winter but its fully heated so even nicer than sitting inside. Complimentary bread and butter was delicious too although you are then hit with a 15% service charge. We paid 105£ for two mains and a dessert. Book in advance, the restaurant was packed on a Wednesday.

It's been a few years but it's still very French. I thought some of the dishes were great some not so great eh endive walnut and gorgonzola starter and crevettes main a disappointment. Beef was fantastic Deserts a bit limited. Very expensive at £150 + pp. Wines lovely but they only seem to have had 1 bottle of our initial choices, were they trying to get us to use other stock?

Great selection of wines. Food selection is also great especially the fish, which is my favourite. But I personally found the fish/mains dish preparations a bit disappointing for the price charged which will include a carb side but no salad or veggies, hence the 4 stars. I have tasted, better fish and beef dishes, in other French restaurants. They don't have a good selection of sides either. The dessert selection also did not have much in the way of hot desserts. Service was of course great. Restaurant gets very busy even on weeknights so best to book in advance. Overall a good experience.

The overall experience was out of this world, all staff were friendly the food was excellent well cooked and it was very enjoyable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone even if you don't know any French.

Old school French restaurant. Simple good food with an extended French focused wine list. Service was professional and on point. Will be back!

I viist Le Colombier every time I come to London and it never disappoints. On a sunny day, lunch on the warm terrace is a joy, even in winter, and one could almost be in Nice. And the food and service are exemplary, from the first glass of Sancerre to the final noisette. Their seafood is always superb; this time we had oysters and shrimps. The kidneys in a dijon sauce were quite delicious and followed by my favourite crepes suzette. And I must mention the bread basket. Very difficult not to finish the lot! As usual, the clientele all looks as though they come regularly, and I even recognised some of them from previous visits.

Exceptional. Some of the best French food in London. The veal chop and the tartare in particular were phenomenal. The grouse was also excellent; perfectly gamey without being overwhelming. 10 stars!

This is my 2nd time here I ordered the lamb cutlets, it was not like the first time the fries was greasy and thick The chicken wasn't cooked nicely The carrot and coriander soup was nice I took the 2nd star off because when I asked the manager about the wifi password his answer was " this is not a cafe and people usually don't ask for password " he could've just say that we don't have a wifi , and this I find rude and it is a reason that I won't come back again .

Small quiet out of the way place in chelsea. Food was outstanding and there was an excellent list of reasonably priced but fine wines. With this only half a mile from from our new place it may become a regular place.

Very civilised, very Parisienne. Very... expensive (for what it is). Nevertheless, the closest thing to a slice of Paris in the neighbourhood. I sat in the enclosed curb side area with glass walls. The food was thoughtfully prepared. The linens clean. The other diners, regulars. A quiet hush permeated this Sunday afternoon. My only criticism is that the waiters are a bit too authentic in the Gallic waitering tradition of the roving eye that never quite sees that you need attention.

Came here last night. Food was simply fantastic but the lack of any atmosphere really let it down. I had a glass of very good champagne to start followed by some excellent red wine. The crab salad was delicious. A friend raved about her oysters and the goats cheese was apparently very good.The filet steak was very tender and flavoursome, despite being rare rather than medium rare as requested. I was told that the cottage pie was stodgy.They did not skimp on the mint leaves in the fresh mint tea. Service was attentive and very good. There were very few customers, which probably accounted for the lack of ambience, but my companions said it was the quietest they had ever seen it. I will definitely go back.

If you feel the need for a traditional French meal with tablecloths and an unchallenging menu, then this is the place. I love it - the food is very "correct", the clientele are very old school and the French waiting staff do their best to live up to the reputation of French waiting staff...!

5* service from the head waiter, 3* from the waitress who couldn't explain how any of the dishes were prepared. Otherwise a fantastic evening meal. Crab salad was full of flavour and fillet was very good. Mousse de chocolate (I think) was just rich enough without the lingering after taste.

A super place to celebrate - the atmosphere is great and the food and wine excellent. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The tables were not too close so you didn't have to hear your neighbours' conversations! We hope to go again soon.
