I had a really great time at Le Comptoir when I dined there on 30 December 2025. Chef Ben checked in with me a few times during the meal, which felt very genuine and made the experience more personal. I went for the 8-course tasting menu, and from the second dish onwards the food just kept getting better — rich, comforting, and full of flavour. I also really appreciated how each dish was meticulously described by the team, which added a lot to the experience without feeling overdone. Service throughout was warm and attentive, and the complimentary pre- and post-meal snacks were a lovely touch that made the whole meal feel thoughtful from start to finish. They were kind to let me be seated earlier than my reservation, and both the head chef and sous chef agreed to sign the small menu for me as a keepsake. The sous chef looked genuinely surprised that I asked for his signature, which made the moment unexpectedly funny and memorable. Overall, great food, sincere service, and a place I’d happily return to.

We enjoyed the set menu dinner and every course was absolutely delicious. The wine pairing was perfectly curated, elevating each dish. The service was exceptional attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful from all staff. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance: intimate enough for conversation, yet incredibly welcoming. Chef Ben was so kind and a pleasure to chat with. Without a doubt, this is the best restaurant I’ve experienced in Vietnam. My entire family agrees this restaurant truly deserves a Michelin Star. Everything was flawless.

My partner brought me here for my birthday celebration and it was amazing!! We had the eight course Le Grand Menu Signature. All the dishes were delicious and the team took the care to explain each dish and how they should be enjoyed. The food and service was great, and the ambience was very romantic too. The tables were well spaced and it was easy to talk. The team also gave me a special birthday treat and gift! Highly recommended!

My fourth time in Da Nang in three years but my first time having French cuisine here. The place was highly recommended by my friends, so we gave that a try. Before our arrival they sent us confirmation and asked about our food allergies which was very caring. On arrival, the reception staff was very friendly and explained the menu and daily special as well as other paring options and wine. We ended up having the six course meals and ordered a bottle of red wine. The waiter who helped us was knowledgable and showed me the type of red wine that I looked for. Overall food quality is very fine and stunning. Our waitress walked through every single dish with us so we understand what we were having. The most memorable dishes are the fish , the refreshment before the main course and the main. Another reason I love about this place apart from the food is the spacing and arrangement of tables. Although it was very busy at the restaurant, space between each table is quite spacious and hardly heard from the table next to us. Thank you for the warm welcome. Look forward to their new menu for Xmas 😍

This restaurant is recommended by a friend. We ordered 6 courses meal with wine pairing. Mine is a non-alcohol pairing with 3 glasses which match so well with the dishes. All the dishes taste amazing with very nice presentation. Staff are very professional with good service. One of the best fine dining experiences we had. Highly recommend to others as well.

She was genuinely welcoming, attentive, and made us feel like we’d made a wonderful new friend. Her presence alone is enough to make me want to come back—paired with the incredible food, it’s a perfect combination. Highly recommended, and definitely a place I’ll return to!

Best dining experience in Da Nang We reserved a table to celebrate my father’s birthday, and everything was beyond expectations. The staff were so thoughtful, reminding us to book early for the 8-course menu. The restaurant itself was cozy and romantic, making the evening truly memorable. The food was fantastic — especially the wagyu and cod, which were absolute highlights. Another touching moment was when my sister felt unwell and couldn’t finish her meal before the main course. The staff noticed right away and kindly offered a 30% discount. It was so nice, ensuring nothing went to waste while showing genuine care. A truly lovely experience that made the celebration unforgettable. 💖

The staff was exceptionally attentive and professional, with impeccable timing throughout the evening - we never felt hurried, yet there were no awkward delays between courses. Overall Experience: Le Comptoir masterfully brings authentic French dining to Vietnam while thoughtfully incorporating bits of local flavour.
