But this place is the only one where you can play pinball or color on the paper tablecloth while waiting for a leek-vinaigrette that's pretty enough for a spot at the Louvre. The no-choice semainier is the move at lunch: a three-course prix fixe featuring a different childhood fave each day of the week. Veal blanquette is fork tender, covered with a sauce so creamy that it transforms the accompanying rice into a risotto doppelgänger, and the apple crumble crowned with raw cream will make you want to lick the bowl clean.
