I had truly the most amazing experience with my local Le Creuset last weekend - just have to share. After purchasing my first butter crock, which I was so excited about, I got home after a long shopping day, opened my car door, and the bag rolled right out of my car onto the ground, shattering the lid. To say I was SO disappointed is an understatement. It ruined my day! Even though the butter crock was only $30, I was so disappointed that I made this mistake. My husband saw how upset I was and gave the store a call. The manager (I should have gotten her name) answered and told us to bring it in. I hopped right in my car and went to the outlet. As soon as I walked in, she knew it was me, made the swap with a new one, and sent me on my way. She didn’t make me feel bad or give any attitude at all. It made me a customer for life. There was absolutely no obligation on her part to honor our request, but she did so anyway. If you see this - thank you!! I love my butter crock!!
