"Le Croissant Doré is a French/Vietnamese bakery right on Bolsa, and while you can come here to pick up their excellent fruit tarts and chocolate croissants, the move is to take a seat and order a plate of bo kho. You can find this traditional Vietnamese beef stew at many places around Little Saigon, but this is our favorite. The broth is dark, meaty, and slightly cinnamon-y, and the beef itself essentially melts in your mouth. But perhaps the best part is ripping off bits of the crunchy, house-made baguette and sopping up all the extra broth." - Brant Cox

The hu tieu bo kho noodles were slightly undercooked, which affected the overall experience. The hu tieu nam vang had a somewhat plain flavor, lacking the vibrant taste I expected. On a positive note, the service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere felt reminiscent of a deli, which wasn't too bad for a morning meal. Overall, I just wish the food had a bit more flavor to elevate the experience.

It's a good breakfast spot, but the guys that hang out here to have coffee and gossip have ruined it for patrons that are there to eat and go. Those "guys" would sit there for hours and hours taking up valuable space. Nice when they order food and drinks, but often it's water or coffee or nothing. Well, it's caused the place to charge for tap water. Yes, $1.50 for a cup of iced tap water. And the staff won't tell you they charge for water. It just shows up when you check out.

Best croissant, baguette, beef tongue stew and coffee ever. To me, they taste better than real French. Vietnamese folks know how to take something and make it better. Croissant and baguette are so light and crunch, you can't stop eating them! Only reason I give them 4 out of 5 is that the place has a bit of funky smell that can turn you off. Strictly food wise, it gets 6 out of 5 stars! I will definitely come back for more croissant!

I went here with my friends on a cold day that we were craving for beef stew. Nothing is better than this Vietnamese breakfast on a cold day! We were lucky to get a table since it was very crowded, you can be easily split into 2 smaller tables. This is back when COVID didn’t hit us. With the casual ambiance and delicious food, this place can be a daily spot to go. The baguette is very super crunchy and I love it. In addition, they sell pastries and cakes here that I will definitely go back to try them. The only downside of this place is it kinda small so it can be a little difficult if you go in big group. And if you want to hang around after you done eating, you can only do that in the weekdays since the weekend gets crowded, you need to leave for the waiting people.

Old school place for Bo kho and gari ga. It satisfying but not the best yet. But the beef tongue is really tender and good

Good spot for breakfast in the morning. Curry is the go to here. Good place to meet a friend or business partner and have a chill breakfast/lunch.

Just no . Very understaff. Two places connected in one . Its very old outdated very dirty outside sitting is view on the parking lot and road . Parking is always full . The food was way too spicy and way too salty couldnt taste a think . The " beef" was mainly chunk of fat which were inedible . Dont bother with those cakes and croissant no respectable patissier would dare to put that out . They looked very sad depressing and homemade . The croissant are even worse . If you want TRUE AUTHENTIC french sweets go to moulin in newport beach . Very disappointed by the food i had better vietnamese food in mom and pop restaurent . Its also grossly overpriced over 10$ for 3 eggs ?! Lol the staff was unplesant not helpful and didnt looked miserable working there . Didnt feel welcome . Will not go back . If you want TRUE GOOD vietnamese food there are plenty of better ones in garden grove / westminster area. Skip this one

Good Vietnamese-french cuisines. Terrible rest room. Known for their beef stew, but chicken curry, noodle dish are also good
