Le Denti

"This dinky restaurant off the busy tourist track is the haunt of a couple with a passion for ‘denti’ (a Mediterranean fish). Both are talented, versatile cooks and together they craft flavoursome market cuisine with a weakness for fish and a reverence for the seasons. With only a handful of tables, bookings are snapped up fast, so book ahead!" - Michelin Inspector

Every detail at Le Denti is thoughtfully executed. The service was warm, professional, attentive and fun! The food? Simply exceptional! Each dish was a masterclass in flavor, technique, and creativity. The plating was absolutely stunning, true works of art that showed the chef’s passion and precision. Seasonal ingredients are used and every bite bursts with freshness and balance. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines such refined cuisine with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Le Denti is a gem!

A Hidden Gem with Big Flavors This place is such a lovely little find. It's small, quiet, and has this calm vibe that makes you slow down and really enjoy your meal. Nothing loud or over-the-top – just a relaxed space where the food does all the talking. The French cuisine here is spot on. Every dish feels homemade but refined, full of flavor and made with great ingredients. You can tell there's a lot of care behind what comes out of the kitchen. The service is also fantastic – super friendly, relaxed, and attentive without hovering.

PASSION. That's what the husband and wife proprietors of Le Denti put into their charming restaurant. And it shows - from their hospitality to the exceptionally prepared cuisine. We enjoyed a four-course menu with each bite better than the last. Our 7 yrs old son tried rabbit for the first time and loved it. The peach carpaccio dessert at the very end was a work of art. Merci beaucoup, Virginia et Stephane!!!

Had a fabulous meal at Le Denti. Only 5 mins walk from the tourist hordes, but a little island of peace, perfect friendly service and superb fresh food, beautifully presented. Madame welcomed us and because we had a little French, spoke to us in simple clear French all evening. For other tables she comfortably looked after them in English. We chose the Menu Plaisir - fresh fish, cheese and amazing plum dessert, and a bottle of local white. All in about €180 for 2 but at that level of food and service, good value. Highly recommended for a treat.

Quiet, small restaurant with delicious food! The owners were very sweet, and explained the menu thoroughly to us non-French speakers 😊

Absolutely lovely evening! Beautiful imaginative food full of flavour but delicate too. Merlu with endive and winter vegetables was delicious and dessert with pistachio ice cream was a perfect ending. Amuse bouche with parsley root was fabulous. Delightful and charming front of house. Despite being very busy she kept an eye on everything and we felt very well looked after.

Yelp
We had a very nice meal here. The woman who runs the front of the house (and who also serves all the guests) was very pleasant and knowledgeable and quite passionate about the food they served. They started us off with a tasty amuse bouche. Then I had a cuttlefish dish which was excellent. My chicken main course was underwhelming - all the vegetables surrounding the chicken were fantastic, but the chicken itself was bland and weirdly presented. But my partner's John Dory fish was divine. My chocolate tart was great, his dessert of the day (a pear crumble) not so much. Wines were very good. Overall, a solid meal, but not a sublime one.
