Le Dog - Review - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Remember Zoup!? Or maybe they still exist. Who knows, and either way that place sucks. Le Dog, on the other hand, is the mom and pop version of a specialty soup shop, and it’s great. While the original East Liberty location closed, the newer Main Street one is fully operational three blocks away, and in truth it’s a better space. Tortilla soup and lobster bisque on Fridays are the mainstays, but there are always new and different options. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Google
Delicious, affordable food. Their hot dogs are good and so is their soup. There's often a long line so I recommend coming in as early as you can.

Google
2023 June Soups here are comfort food... chicken tortilla, creamy and slight kick that warms you on a chilly day. Bavarian potato, broth chock full of sausage, potatoes, and mixed vegetables... don't forget to order the bread to go with it! Then if you still have room, have a hot dog or sausage with some sauerkraut! 2022 From the original stall back to my campus days to the little spot in downtown Ann Arbor, Le Dog is another iconic spot that locals love! Freshly made soups each day, with lobster bisque (my personal fave) additionally offered on Thursdays and Fridays. Hot dog and polish sausage round out the menu! Chicken tortilla is the family fave! Tried the salmon shrimp corn chowder today too ... light in flavor, not too salty. Zingerman's bread was great to soak up with the soup!

Google
I’ve lived in Ann Arbor my entire life and made the mistake of never visiting Le Dog. Tried it for the first time this week and I have gone back every day for more soup! Absolutely delicious, it a great soup counter and a great lunch every time.

Lorelle Pennington

Google
A little bit of a mixed bag, the service is always pretty solid when I go in and the hot dogs are pretty cheap for a good amount of food, I usually order the chicken tortilla soup and it's very flavorful. My biggest issue with the soups is that they are a little overpriced for ordering from a stand with no seating (mine was $8) and they are EXTREMELY salty. I love salt so I was alright with it but I wouldn't recommend it to someone with sodium issues. Overall not bad and a more affordable lunch spot for Ann Arbor.

Google
After many years, I came back and had my favorite: lobster bisque. As fantastic as I remembered. This place is a must! Jules, the owner, was there and it was so nice to reminisce.

Google
The perfect lunch for a rainy day and genuinely the best chili dog I’ve ever had. The chicken tortilla soup is like a warm hug.

Sherry Deng

Google
Hotdog and soup are all very delicious, price is fair. Take away only.

Google
Amazing hole in the wall! Only downside is the odd hours and lack of seating. I would recommend checking hours before you go and going on a nice day where you can eat outside or walk around and eat. Absolutely delicious and very affordable!

Yelp
The Chicken Tortilla Soup is out of this world. They move through orders quickly and are super polite and helpful. Zingermans rolls are available with soup for a modest upcharge and the whole menu is quite inexpensive. Only downside is there isn't really anywhere to sit, but it is a tiny unassuming place that is a little hidden. But highly recommend. one day I'll get around to trying the hot dogs!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is VERY easy to miss - it's a local secret it's well worth looking for, and if you find it be sure to try the lobster bisque which is only available Thursday and Friday. It's the creamiest richest lobster bisque I've ever had the pleasure of trying, with plenty of lobster chunks hiding at the bottom. The bread from Zingermans holds the soup well, perfectly moist and squishy! It's takeout only so be prepared to run home to enjoy this treat

Yelp
Did you know that "Le Dog" is simply "Lemonade and Hot Dogs" shortened, and not "The Dog" in another language? Do you work downtown Ann Arbor and are often too busy to even THINK about taking a lunch break, let alone make sure you take the self care you really need to take a break during the day. This is why hitting Le Dog saves me (and my office) most days. Everyone from the Chief to support staff runs out for a leg stretch, hot lunch, quick stop and a take away of fantastic soup that feeds your Soul. We are all very happy that they survived 2020 now that we are getting back to the office. Le Dog is still the best of the best for soups in downtown Ann Arbor. The soups are balanced, hearty portions, whole ingredients, reasonably priced and absolutely fantastic flavors. Friendly staff, quick service and good food, without pretense is just want anyone can appreciate on any given day. The Lobster Bisque is one of the special soups you will find only on Thursdays and Fridays $10 for 16oz! Add half a pasaeno roll for $1. The Pozole is the other rarity on the board that is a must try. The menu of available options changes but you can always find a vegan, vegetable, light, hearty and a stew on the board. Today I had the Alsatian Cabbage soup with roll. Thin stock with a hit of cream, loaded with vegetables and some potatoes that were perfectly cooked. Once cash only, they now accept credit/debit and apple pay. If I was to move away, this would be on the top of my list of places that I would miss. Definitely Choice

Yelp
Great quick hot dog while at work. Soup is always a hit. I get the turkey got dog and love it so much. Never a long wait! Highly recommend

Yelp
Meh. Was ok. If you want a quick three dollar hotdog (beef/pork) type. Not winning any awards. Good for a snack

Yelp
Yes, this little corner stand inside of a shopping center is Le Dog/La Soup. Do you go for le dog? Non, mon ami, you go for la soup. "La soup?" You might ask, incredulously. Mais oui, says anyone in the know. It's good soup. You can (and should, if you are able) get a hunk of crusty-fluffy Zingerman's bread to go with it. It's also very affordable. And if you are very, very clever, you will go on a Thursday or a Friday and get the lobster bisque. Which is delicious.

Yelp
Chicken Tortilla Forever!!! Basically everything is good but I have a hard time not getting the most delicious cheesy chicken tortilla soup with a pretzel stick every single time. LOVE LOVE LOVE this spot! Very nice owners with a long history. Support local! For people who haven't been: this is literally a small window basically to order soup, dogs, and small sides like bread and pretzels from, there is no actual dining space - although you can sit downstairs or on nearby benches, stairs, etc to consume! Pro Tip: The line gets long right at noon of course so if you don't want to wait go a bit earlier or after, it makes a bit difference but don't be steered away, just wait if your already there! It's worth it. ALSO for people who have been going here awhile - They used to be Cash Only but I believe they now accept credit cards too.

Yelp
This place is in some building..I almost missed it, I've had the Lobster bisque soup Roasted vegetables soup French onion soup Tomato Florentine soup They are all very very good, soup also comes with bread if you want!! (Which you do) Will be back soon!

Yelp
Soup is my favorite food. As someone who's tried and made a lot of soups, the soups at Le Dog are A++. My favorites are the beef chili, chicken tortilla, and lobster bisque. They run from about $6-8, $1 extra if you get a Zingerman bread roll or pretzel roll. The hot dogs are around $3. It might seem pricey for soup, but they're actually quite filling as they're packed with meat/bean/cheese/carb at least for the beef chili and chicken tortilla. The lobster bisque contains a salty, rich sherry cream broth and generous chunks of lobster. Really delicious. I order it on rainy days with a bread roll. The service is not only quick, but the workers are always so friendly and kind. Once I forgot to bring enough cash with me (this place is cash only!), but they still served me anyway and let me pay the next time I came in since I'm a regular. I try to come here afee 1 pm to beat the lunch crowd. This is my favorite spot to stop by on my lunch break. Can't recommend Le Dog enough!
google avatar

Lindsay T.

Yelp
Incredible food here! The soups are great our favorites are the chicken chili and chili soup which are just as good as max and ermas cheesy tortilla soup!

Erin M.

Yelp
Ordered the lobster bisque since they only have it on Thursdays and Fridays, it was really good. They also give you bread that was nice and soft. The only bad part is there's no where to sit, so you'll either need to take it to your car or find somewhere outside (that's not owned by another restaurant).
google avatar

Billy W.

Yelp
This place is an Ann Arbor staple and was a go-to treat for me when I was a student at U of M. Their lobster bisque is rich, creamy and delicious with generous chunks of lobster. It's so good it's the bar that I measure all other lobster bisques, and honestly soup in general, against. The only downside is that they only make it in Thursdays and Fridays so it takes some strategizing. The dogs are great too. I highly recommend their chili cheese dog which comes with a thick cut of cheddar cheese. The hours are tricky but if you can swing it Le Dog is a must visit.
google avatar

Robert Y.

Yelp
Great soup! I ordered the Lobster Bisque and Chicken Tortilla and both were very good. The big chunks of lobster meat and chicken were a nice surprise. It was the perfect lunch on a cold, snowy day. I will definitely be back...

kim d.

Yelp
Was surprised to find the lobster bisque is now $12! Even more surprising is that le dog is now taking credit cards. I would prefer to keep the price of soup low and still pay cash. Perhaps a discount for cash? Why has the cracker supply on the counter been replaced with a tip jar? This is literally a carry out window for delicious but getting too pricey soup. What is happening here?!?!?!
google avatar

Ellen M.

Yelp
Best soup in the world. I love the lobster bisque! Fab Hot Dogs and polish sausages! Yum!
google avatar

Becky M.

Yelp
I love you, Le Dog. Don't ever change! Had the chicken tortilla soup about six times in the last few months, and finally feel like I've had my fix enough to try something new. Got the Italian wedding today and it's the bomb too

Woody S.

Yelp
This is the special spot. An Ann Arbor tradition. LeDog more than lives up to its reputation. Candidly, absolutely perfect! Great people. Great soup. Great dogs. Better than great. Love the lobster bisque. Of course the lobster is good but the bisque is perfect. Not just good, but perfect.
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
The soup here is delicious, filling, and affordable. I shared the two soups and roll with a friend and it was more than enough for the two of us. While the lobster bisque tasted mediocre at first, the bits of lobster meat I discovered at the bottom of the soup was a game changer. It tasted super fresh and the variety in texture really helped me to see why so many people rave about the lobster bisque here. I also had the chicken tortilla soup and enjoyed it a lot as well. Loaded with tortilla chips and chicken, it's very thick and creamy, making for a deeply satisfying meal on chilly days.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Everything I've eaten here has been excellent. Just had the chilled cucumber soup, I've never had anything like it. It was delicious! I forgot to mention the Lentil soup I ate for dinner, the best Lentil soup I have ever had!!! So flavorful, I wish I could eat here every day!
google avatar

Aparna B.

Yelp
I have been waiting to try the black bean and their black bean chili but haven't seen them on the menu yet, but I did try the Spanish Lentil & Vegetable which was vegan (their vegetarian was broccoli cheddar, which, no thanks). The Spanish lentil was fantastic! Tons of herbs and vegetables, green lentils and garbanzo beans too. While this place gets points for always having 1 vegetarian and 1 vegan soup each day, they lose a few points because sometimes those options are just OK and don't sound nearly as good as the creative meat-based soups they have. They also lose some points because the only way to see what soups they have is to walk down there or call at 11:30 and have them list off their soups for you. It'd be nice if they could update a Facebook page, or Twitter account with just a photo of what the daily soups are. Another thing to note: this place is cash only. If you just get soup you're look at spending $6, add some bread (Zingerman's Paesano roll or Pretzel stick) and it's $1 more! Don't take the 3-star rating a bad thing. It's really more 3.5, and given they're an "institution" (of sorts) in Ann Arbor, I know next time I go and review it'll likely be a 4-star rating :) Definitely give them a try!

Yelp
Le Dog is as good as it can get. It is delicious, wholesome, healthy food prepared and served by the most wonderful folks. They are generous and kind and a staple in this city. I'm certain there is not an item on the menu that isn't delicious, made from the best ingredients, and served with a smile. I will always and forever be a Le Dog evangelist. Don't sleep on the Chicken White Chili, the French Onion, or the Lobster Bisque. If more food were made like this, and more businesses were operated by folks like this, we'd all be a lot better off.
google avatar

Lia J.

Yelp
This is my favorite lunch place in Ann Arbor. The soup is AMAZING!!!! I strongly recommend going with a friend and getting two soups and sharing because every soup is delicious. I had the stuffed red pepper soup and the baked potato soup most recently, and both were delicious. This is also a great meal to get extra of and heat it up for dinner later. And then there are the slushies made from fresh fruit. They are soooo good. The orange and lemon and cherry are equally delicious and each unique. I've never had any slushy that tasted that rich and that fresh at the same time. The only downside to the restaurant is that there isn't seating. There is a small amount of seating downstairs, but it's not reliable. But the food is so delicious, it doesn't really matter.

Jane C.

Yelp
I ate here recently and had a horrible experience. I ate there for lunch and had to leave work due to severe vomiting. This was the only food I ate that day. I called them to advise them and they were rude and said it wasn't them. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
google avatar

Miho N.

Yelp
Le Dog soups are amazing! I had their salmon/shrimp chowder one day and the lobster bisque the next (Thursday/Friday only). I had the pretzel stick too. Absolutely Delicious, filling, creamy, packed with flavor and tons of ingredients. Lobster pieces were huge too. Can't wait to try more of their soups this winter!!
google avatar

Blaise B.

Yelp
I gotta be honest here... Le Dog is way overrated. I mean, it's fine, but it's not that good. Their lobster bisque is like eating a bowl of salt. And salt is my favorite food group lol, so that is saying something! The namesake hot dogs are fine but nothing to write home about. Overall, it's just not the destination that people for some reason make it out to be.
google avatar

Tommy D.

Yelp
Outstanding and unique operation being run out of a gallery space on Main. Highly recommend the chicken tortilla soup, lobster bisque, and chili dog with the little onion & relish station. Weird as it sounds, might be the best food in the entire city of Ann Arbor
google avatar

Paul K.

Yelp
An Ann Arbor staple! Le Dog has kept the same feel even though its moved from their small outdoor stand on Liberty to an indoor location on Main St. Fast, super friendly service. Lobster Bisque gets most of the buzz, and its well deserved. Great flavor, rich and creamy, with large chunks of lobster. Pairs really well with the Zingerman's paesano roll (I like the pretzel bread too, but it can get make the meal a little salty)! Other soups that I often get is the chicken tortilla and the white chicken chili, which are both more chunky and filling than the bisque. Unfortunately they don't allow samples, but the staff are friendly and will describe the various soups. While the line is long at times during lunch, it moves fairly quickly. It's also cash only, so definitely make sure to bring some $$ or be prepared to walk to a nearby ATM.
google avatar

Kelli B.

Yelp
Fantastic soups! They are consistently delicious and I love them so much. The tortilla soup and pretzel bread is my favorite. The cream of mushroom is incredible too. Every soup I've tried is dreamy. Haven't tried the franks or sausage but need to stat. Thank you!!
google avatar

Bernice C.

Yelp
I tried the lobster bisque and my dad the chicken tortilla, you can either choose a roll or pretzel (both from Zingerman's) and it's plenty for a one-person lunch! Since this is a stand there isn't any seating, but there is a small area downstairs in the center where you can sit. The soups were very good at first and nice and thick/creamy, but as I finished the bowl it got saltier and saltier. I heard about Le Dog from a friend and decided to try it during my trip back to visit U of M and kind of regretted it. Should've gone to Zingerman's instead.

DandM S.

Yelp
The lobster bisque is fantastically unique!!! (I'm still eating it as I write this review... couldn't wait to praise it.) I'm only visiting Ann Arbor for 24 hours, and my Lyft driver from the airport recommended Le Dog. After I bought it, on my walk back to the hotel with a small folded brown bag in my cold winter hand, I thought: "this small $8 soup better be gooood". Well, it is incredible. I could already tell it was something special when I took the top off and a unique, creamy scent wafted through the air. I'm good at dissecting flavors and picking out ingredients (and I often try to recreate unique restaurant dishes in my own kitchen), but I can't get a firm hold on this one. Jules (the chef) did an excellent job blending the sweet, spicy, and creamy flavors, which is why it tastes so unique. And it contains real chunks of lobster - bigggg chunks!! This would be a huge success in NYC (where I live)... I can only hope!!
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
This is my go to lunch spot! $8 for an amazing soup and Zingermanns pretzel roll? Yes please! Their chicken tortilla is one of the best soups I've ever had. The owners and staff are the sweetest people. Support local and don't be disappointed about visiting
google avatar

Yelp
Everything you've heard about hole in the wall places is true here! I was in Ann Arbor on a business trip and had only a short time to grab some lunch--this place was a suggestion for something fast. I was skeptical at first because the establishment is Tucked away in the corner inside a building comprised of small shops/boutiques and is definitely a no-frills place. This is not a fancy spot. You queue up in the line and browse the hand written soups offered, written out on square pieces of eight and half by 11 paper containing brief descriptions of each soup. Today's selections were white chicken chili, regular chili, Armenian lentil, chicken tortilla, Sicilian tuna, and a couple of other varieties that I don't recall. I chose the chicken tortilla and it was a great choice! Savory cheesy goodness, filled with chunks of chicken, bits of onion and pepper and topped with tortilla strips, cheese and salsa. My friend ordered the Armenian lentil and it was equally delicious, bursting with barley and creamy lentils. Not your average Mediterranean lentil soup for sure. I'll definitely be back in the future to check out other delicious soups!
google avatar

Leyla Z.

Yelp
Such a great place for soup!!! I've tried the lobster bisque and the chicken tortillla. Both were amazing. Portion sizes are big, good for lunch.
google avatar

Karen K.

Yelp
LeDog is the one place in AA I miss the most, now that I have moved to another city. Their homemade soups and chili dogs are by far the best you'll ever eat. With vegan and vegetarian options, this is a place for everyone.
google avatar

Theodora M.

Yelp
When the weather gets gloomy and things get cold, you can't do any better than a thing of lobster bisque and paesano roll from Le Dog!
google avatar

Joyce R.

Yelp
Love this lunch spot. I often try the Chef's Recommendation and have not been disappointed. Efficient friendly service.
google avatar

Nupur L.

Yelp
This is one of the truly impressive eating establishments in Ann Arbor. Legend has it that there are over 80 soups in rotation. I've had three and I was very impressed at the quality of the ingredients, the careful seasoning and the interesting yet delicious selections of combined flavors. The Lobster Bisque is fantastic, with herbs and sherry evident in the soup and rich lobster giving the bisque its texture. The Alsatian Squash and Blue Cheese also lived up to its reputation, with both flavors being balanced beautifully. Make no mistake, this seemingly normal man at the stand has a very good sense for flavor and texture and cares deeply about the ingredients. If you haven't been to Le Dog, go! Fetch soup!
google avatar

Hamzah M.

Yelp
Everyone knows the lobster bisque is where it's at. I called ahead to make sure it was still in stock before I walked over and the kind owner said yes and if I wasn't going to be there soon she could save a bowl for me. Truly excellent customer service that was. I get there and she remembered my voice and with a face to go with it now she gave me a great greeting and thank you for stopping by. Like I said truly excellent. Great food+awesome service=5 all day in the words of a famous Youtuber :) The turkey dogs for a buck and change are pretty tasty as well, def give Le Dog a try next time you're in Ann Arbor
google avatar

Liz A.

Yelp
Great soup!! Just had it for the first time and it was delicious! Had the chicken tortilla soup and a peasano roll. Cute little soup stand in a shopping center on main st. Can't believe it took me this long to try it, and can't wait to come back!

John Q.

Yelp
I ordered the asparagus chowder earlier this week. I *love* asparagus and potatoes, so this could have been a wonderful experience. Sadly I kept running into the woody ends of the asparagus stalks, which was too fibrous to chew, so I had to keep reaching into my mouth to remove the unpleasantness (see photo I uploaded). I'm truly at a loss. The people seem nice. I do feel I'm paying a premium for the soup and I have corresponding expectations. But I've now had a string of bad experiences that don't live up to their reputation or their prices. They've earned another hiatus from my patronage.

Tim F.

Yelp
A ridiculously good cup of soup. Went with the chicken chili - it was amazing. Inspiring even. The bread was perfect as well. Go here.

Alice F.

Yelp
When you order bread with your soup for $1 they give you half a small round loaf. It's great for dipping in the soup. I was also impressed at how careful the person manning the cash register is, using a piece of deli tissue to place the half-loaf on a napkin. And then only touching the napkin when placing the half-loaf on top of the soup in the brown paper bag. Except then they ran out of cut loaves, so they sent the bucket to the back to get it refilled where I saw them happily handling the loaves with bare hands as they cut them. This is in violation of Michigan's health code Section 3-301.11 (B), which states: "Except when washing fruits and vegetables as specified under section 3-302.15 or when otherwise approved, food employees may not contact exposed, ready-to-eat food with their bare hands and shall use suitable utensils such as deli tissue, spatulas, tongs, single-use gloves, or dispensing equipment." This is pretty basic stuff. If they're not going to follow the health code towards the back of the food prep area, they shouldn't be putting the fancy song-and-dance display at the front counter.

Margot S.

Yelp
Outstanding!!! So happy they are open again. Lobster bisque, chicken chili, cream of mushroom... all are from heaven.
google avatar

Samantha L.

Yelp
Favorite soup ever. Can only pay with cash, not a sit-down type of restaurant. Soups change daily, and there's a constant variety every week! Homemade every morning, and they also support local business by using some of their food products.

Jj S.

Yelp
Had the Roasted Garlic soup a little while back, and it was fantastic. Home-cooked taste, and cooking that you can't get anywhere else. Great bread, a good dog, and homemade lemonade rounded out my comforting meal. The list of soups is phenomenal and supposedly they have hundreds that they rotate from. I wish I were in the area to try more. And, for $8 I was completely stuffed. Hard to find that nowadays as I just ate a $13 salad. The people working here will make you feel at home. A top-notch family-run business.

Yelp
There's a reason there's always a god-awful line stretching out to eternity at lunchtime at Le Dog...because it's delicious. For a quick bite that fills you up without emptying your wallet, this is my go-to place. The hot dogs are respectable but not out of this world. Of course, I've never really had a hot dog that I could say was exponentially better than the rest. Two things makes this place an Ann Arbor institution - the service and the soups. The staff and owners are some of the friendliest, caring people you'll meet. If you just swing by to try it out, that might not be readily apparent, but Le Dog has textbook definition regulars and the interactions I've seen and are starting to become accustom to can really make a person's day. But OMG the soups...particularly Friday Lobster Bisque. They're all just divine. I'm a soup addict and there's always a variety, some classics, and new types that perk my curiosity. You can't find these combinations in the grocery soup aisle - even with their 284,149 varieties (and, of course, this tastes better than any can but that goes without saying). The food is made with love and attention to quality. I've never had a better Lobster Bisque - and it's always gone quickly each Friday. A few things to note for those who want to try it out (and everyone should!). First, it's cash only, so bring along a Hamilton (or two honest Abe's) and you'll be golden. Second, they're only open during lunch hours. Lastly, there are TWO locations - one in the "shed" on Liberty and one at 306 S Main (inside the shop corridor). I've found, especially on Friday's, it's worth a walk of another 1.5 blocks for a shorter line. But, mind you, there WILL be a line. And you will find me in it...without complaint.

Andrew L.

Yelp
All can say is...meh. Le Dog is a mystical being that is only around when you're not looking. This is because it's only open from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m Monday through Friday. I suppose this is because they only serve lunch, but passing by a closed establishment during the remaining 22.5 hours of the weekday isn't a pleasant experience. For the longest time I thought this place had been shut down until I realized that they were only open for 1.5 hours; those bastards. They must have stolen their marketing strategy from the makers of the Nintendo Wii (or maybe the other way around depending on who came first) because the more and more I couldn't try their famous lobster bisque, the more I wanted it. Eventually I was able to enter the mystical world of Le Dog and ordered a lobster bisque and a pretzel stick along with the other mystical beings. The leprechaun next to me claimed it was the shit and I agreed (although the pretzel was quite stale). So why the bad review? Because the next time I went here I wanted to try their clam chowder and they didn't have it. You see, the tons of soups they have in rotation are just as sporadic as their hours. Missing their hours of operation is one thing, but then to miss the soup you like, only to wait for the day it's actually in rotation makes things ten times more frustrating. On top of that, for a place called Le Dog, their hot dogs absolutely suck. I honestly have never had a worse hot dog in my life. It was so airy and tasteless. It (the hot dog) tries to sucker you into a false sense of security because of its sheer size. But don't be fooled. It's not good at all. I'll give them credit for their bad-assery. They don't change their hours for anyone, and it seems as if the majority of their clientle isn't complaining (besides me *%# dammit). One day Le Dog. One day I'll be there to eat alongside Aslon and that flying white dragon from The Never Ending Story, but until then, I'll get my fix elsewhere.
google avatar

Coco C.

Yelp
I've been meaning to eat here for the past two years, and finally got the chance to recently. Since it was a Saturday, they didn't have the mystical Lobster Bisque, so I got the Cream of Mushroom and a hot dog. The hot dog - meeeh, I've had better, but I've also had worse. It was a jumbo dog, which is always satsifying on some level. The soup - double meeeeh. The taste was pretty good, but it was way too salty. For a place that seems to have some die-hard followers, I was definitely disappointed.

Yelp
Their lobster bisque definitely lives up to its reputation as an absolutely amazing soup. Probably the bisque best my partner and I have ever had, we both loved it. Unfortunately the bisque is only available on Thursdays and Fridays but it's worth it. It's $8 and they give you so much. Their other soups are great as well (they're cheaper too)- the main reason to go is because of their soups. The rest of the menu is good but nothing too special. The staff is super friendly and nice and they only accept cash. It's a quick, delicious, easy, cheap option.
